I would also like to find out. Earlier there was information that January 18 could announce the new date of the hardfork Constantinople. However, so far no new information has been received. Apparently, the vulnerabilities were quite serious and so far this problem has not been fixed.

Many words but in practice, like everything else that should have improved the market situation, was postponed.

There are no news about it at the moment, and i think it is best made silent and low key.
Since the fork could cause vulnerability of rht system, i think it should be done in an unannounced date, and when completed, they can make an announcement 2 days later.

Did you even read someone that has already posted all of the news regarding ethereum hardfork above you? Don't you even care about it so much? They have made an official announcement and you can try to visit that news rather than creating the more non sense post about that.

It was postponed to the end of February, as it was told a couple of days ago.

Expectations will be realized in February. But it is true that the fork is complete with a system that works correctly.

Real turned off after months of hype on the hardfork only to be delayed one day before. Wonder why it took so long for them to discovered the bug. but anywhere nothing need to be rush in the current market mood.

I never liked this postponement decision. I think this hard fork will fail. Obviously I was thinking about positive things but these developments disturbed everyone  :-\

as far as i know "they" didn't discover anything. someone else found it and you were lucky that he decided to report it instead of exploiting it after the release.
hard forks should always be avoided in my opinion. they are like the last resort and better for solving serious bugs not changing the infrastructure so much like this fork.

i read on ethereum ANN page and people say it will delayed till end of february, didn't watch the video yet though.
it's for the better that hard fork got delayed because a problem was found, it will become a huge issue if after hard fork there will be a problem on ethereum network.

Hardfork was postponed due to a security vulnerability in the software. A new date was not given but could be in February.

We were really hopeful about a change and seriously let down after the fork didn't happen. I mean that was what the ethereum prices spiked for to begin with.

All that hype and price spike and talk for nothing doesn't look really that great for ethereum people. Considering the stake is already a lower effort that mining and the blockchain gets clogged easily with something like cryptokitty, if they are going to have hard time managing the blockchain and making it horrible and expensive and slow than maybe they should not even attempt to do it after all.

This should be something they are really all in or totally out, this can't be something they half ass to begin with. Nothing this big should be done at a beginner level, either they should try their best or not do it. And so far they look like they are not doing their best.

Well, the weather was not good in Constantinople so the Hard fork has been delayed. And if the bad weather continues then they might change the venue, so it is quiet possible that you see a Sydney Hard Fork or may be Shingai Hard fork, Tokyo Hard Fork is also on the cards.

As much i know it is delay due to some technical issues, and the next date is also almost going to get more delay as they are not able to fix the issue. So ETH  still facing lot of issues that have to be solved.

Ethereum will always be hardforked because it is a second generation blockchain. If you pick a third generation like Cardano or Tezos then you don't have to worry about them in future, the code is secure and updatable without these risky and troublesome forks

Agree with you on this and i have doubt on this coming hardforked and what it will bring to the ether value. I have some feelings that ether's value would go down after the fork.

It could be updated without the inclusion of the EIP 1283 standard. This would contribute to the attractiveness of Ethereum. There are probably other problems that need to be fixed.

The block height was moved further and from estimations, it might happen February around 27th. All fingers crossed, note that it's just an estimated date, not certain. Everyone anticipating for Constantinople, I've been saying many articles on popular crypto blogs with regards this.

I read that the vulnerability was discovered by a company that specifically addressed the security issues of this hard forks. Just the vulnerability was discovered too late.
We still hope that this time everything will end successfully on February 27 and ethereum will find a new life.

If postponed, then there are reasons for imperfection and vulnerability. I also do not think that in a month they will manage to bring it to the ideal, and we will see another pump.

I'm also waiting for February 27. Already sold a lot of coins to stock up on Ethereum hope that there will be a good pump and it will be possible to make a profit

I think there is no other news for this fork except that its fork will never be happening on the schedule because it was extended. And are expected to happen in the month of February.

The first time it was announce the price jumped high almost double the value from its dip, with that fork delays it's still above from the last dip so buying and keeping more coin while the fork is approaching can be a good strategy if you are not aiming for long term investment, there's chances that many will FOMO again buying on the last minute before the for begun.

We need to wait for further announcement, We can visit the Ann Thread of ETH and  follow their social media accounts if we want to learn more about this upcoming fork which has been delayed before.

Hardfork are Just hype in my opinion because the expectation was higher like the ETH value will increase and most possibly it might reach $200 which doesn't happen at all. Similarly the same happened on Constantinople hardfork.

Yes, Constantinople hardfork does not affected too much on ETH but still people are more concerned now as the value is still dropping. Cryptos unpredictable tragedy continues once again and let wait and see how it goes.

Ethereum Constantinople Hard Fork has been postponed due to some unexpected errors found. We have come to know that this fork will take place in the late of February but this is not official announcement from Ethereum Team. We will be sure if Ethereum team announce later.

As far as I know, the long-awaited hard fork is scheduled for February 26, I hope there will be no more transfers, and also that the ethereum will increase in price by this time and after.

Ethereum Constantinople Hard Fork should happen in the next few days. I hope that there will not be any problem with it and everything will go smoothly. Another delay will be a big problem of trust in Ethereum.

I hope that this time around the eth network upgrades will not be delayed and they will be applied as planned and the outcome will be excellent improving the transactions and overall network performance if that happens we can definitely expect moon for eth in coming weeks.

Latest official news was on their blog post about how chainsecurity actually found a loophole in their smart contract system and could be dangerous and ever since then there is absolutely no post on their blog so far, not even about something unrelated, which comes to show they are probably figuring out how to fix that issue chainsecurity found and trying to implement that and try to beta test and check the issues and if there is anything left before getting out with another one.

These type of issues usually hurt the coins a lot so they want to make sure they don't postpone again, if ethereum decides for the hard fork again and then postpones again then people would lose all of their interest towards the hard fork and there would be less than half the people from the first time interested in it. So they are probably making sure everything goes according to the plan for the next time.

Until now I have not heard any news about the hard fork of ETH in February. But the last day of February is 28 so I think we will have the latest announcements soon.
