A site that asks to pay first just for verification is a total scam site.

Such verifications are conducted through different process that doesn't require you to pay any amount.

The business model of PTC sites is questionable, if you have seen the wave of PTC sites in the years of 2012 to 2015 you may have noticed how many scammers were left with high profits from stealing money from other people. see the case of Probux where his owner stole a lot of money. The business model of the PTC sites is a very questionable model, who buys advertisements are members of other PTC sites that want to get Direct referrals. and the advertising revenue + Upgrade of accounts is not enough to make payments to members which makes the PTC sites with a shady business model. If OP did research on PTC sites then he would know this and would not invest money in these PTC sites

I don't get how people can visit that website and even think it's legit.
Just their entire business-model of paying people to click on advertisements is very flawed at first glance.

Then add the ridiculous referral rewards to that and anyone can immediately tell it's either a scam or very unsustainable.

In the end, even if they pay out, it's just a slightly more elaborate form of a ponzi scheme.
Especially if they're selling referrals to their members, there used to be a bunch of PTC sites that used a model like that.

OP, please correct typo in title, it's scam, not spam website.
And it's obvious from first that this website aren't legit. PTC websites simply aren't paying such high rewards for watching ads. On legit PTC you can make something like $0.02 per day without referrals. And even if website is legit, it's just not worth to deposit money and buy upgrade or rent referrals.

Its already 2019 and I am not sure why there are still people falling for this kind of scam. Its pretty obvious on the first glance, you should know almost in an instant if the site is just scam or not. Promising fixed returns after XX number of days is red flag.

I've been wondering the same thing for a pretty long time, but I suspect we won't ever be completely able to stop people from getting scammed as there's always new people coming into crypto that don't do as much research or have as much know-how as people like us on the forums that are in the know about the scams in crypto. Best thing we can do here is just to remind people that sites with returns that are too good to be true aren't legit, and teach people about signs of scams as much as possible here.

A profit with ptc's are dust amounts, you'll be forced to invest with a decent amount just for you to consider buying direct referrals from the site. And with this kind of verification, it's nuts if someone will fall for their model.

Gone are the days were the ptc's were considered king of online money.

People really have no clue, and there is some form of a believe that the next time will be different, while that's obviously not the case at all--if things look too good to be true, they mostly are.

If you also add that people totally not familiar with what's normal and what isn't join the space on a daily basis, you'll understand that there is a constantly flow of potential victims these con artists aim to bank on.

People still fall for blatant email phising scams where they click on a link, fill in their personal details and send their bank card to whatever unknown address. It's retarded if you think about it, but it still happens today.
