Title: USDT and coinbase

Hi all
Just a basic question is there anyway to transfer USDT to my coinbase account directly from an other exchange or will I have to transfer it to BTC first

Coinbase doesn't support USDT option. Therefore, you can't. AFAIK, coinbase allow USDC (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/usd-coin/). You either have to convert those into BTC or USDC or any other supported coin.

you have to convert to BTC first, it's pretty easy and also very fast withdrawal

It's not supported on Coinbase it seems there are other option to do like converting USDT to USDC they support this coin check their trading page https://pro.coinbase.com/trade/BTC-USDC

Or try to convert it to other coins like BCH to decrease the miner's fee when transferring or withdrawing your crypto from other exchange.
