Title: 12 data sites show you the bitcoin trend
Post by: tiptop163 on January 23, 2019, 01:40:46 PM
What is the best way to accurately value cryptocurrency assets?

This is a question that you hear people asking nearly every day, and everyone has a different opinion on the subject. But everyone agrees that an accurate appraisal requires looking below the surface at what’s underneath.

“This is kind of a charade, because most people are really just looking to profit in terms of converting back into fiat currencies”

Most new crypto investors will look at things like trading price, market cap, rankings, trading volume, etc., but these do not really get to the fundamental value of a cryptocurrency.

Properly evaluating a cryptocurrency means going deeper!

Veteran crypto-enthusiasts look at things that are less open to manipulation, such as chain traffic volume, transaction fees, hash rates, number of active addresses, blockchain size, mining difficulty.

BCtrend.io provides Global Long and Short Data for Crypto Markets for the Previous 24-hour Period

The browser also allows users to view data on the activities of the top-100 largest crypto holders, of market activity, pending transactions, and transaction volumes—all the things that veteran traders require to make informed decisions.

Maybe, try adding direct links in every site you mentioned like - https://coinmarketcap.com/ (https://coinmarketcap.com/).
Did you also compose the description of each site you listed, or you got it from anywhere else?

The websites can be useful, but I don't understand why would anyone need so many of them. I use coinmarketcap regularly, and it has a lot of useful information. What do other websites add to this one? Okay, you added some blockchain transaction explorers, but is it really important to analyze the main trends of the crypto markets?

Taking into account these opposite views, I decided to check the text via a couple of anti-plagiarism engines I could find. The first one showed that the text is 99% unique (although it doesn't analyze posts on forums, I guess). According to the second one, the text is 84% unique and some similarities with an article from hackermoon can be found. It's hard for me to judge whether plagiarism took place or these small fragments of text coincidentally resemble those, but bitcointalk's anti-plagiarism policy is very strict, so if you copied some parts of that text, you should definitely mention the source in the original and make quotations.

Mostly I'm using Coinmarketcap for some general price researches on popular coins. Then I check the listed exchanges one by one for more accurate price snap shot.

Etherscan is most inaccurate for prices, but it's best for contracts explorer of new coins, because CMC are adding coins only if they have 100K or more daily volume.

This is a great list, but you forget my favorite one... https://bitcoinwisdom.com/

In bitcoin wisdom, you can see the bitcoin price based on the main exchangers. It shows other coins prices too, but i like because the information they show is precise and the update rate is fast.
