As you can see from my Avatar and signature, I have been promoting this company for a couple years. I was in their signature campaign for the longest time and I still play there from time to time. It has been a really good company up to this point. The other day, I deposited .01 to play a little bit with. Well, shortly after the deposit, I got a message saying to contact support and my account has been locked for "Security". Which, I did immediately. They said my account should be unlocked in 24-48 hours. That time has already came and went. I contacted the support earlier asking them to please hurry because I would like to play the Michigan State game ATS tonight(spread was -5.5 and they're currently up by 14 with 2 minutes left by the way). I just got a computer generated response from them saying that again my account will be unlocked in 24-48 hours. Why exactly is my account being locked? The deposits have come from the same wallet address they have for years and i'm logging in from the exact same IP address and computer I always have as well. My money is currently still on hold with no sign of getting it back anytime soon, no help from support, and i've already missed out on roughly $50 from the bet I was going to play tonight. I can not currently recommend this service to anyone at this point. Be careful.
Any one of the many people who may have signed up under me, I recommend you to find a different sportsbook as well.
Can anyone recommend another sportsbook? I think i'm done with this company.


Edit: To make it clear, when they locked my account, they made it where I can't bet, chat, or withdraw coins. I literally can't do anything except contact support on my account right now. It seems like they're holding my coins hostage with no sign of getting them back anytime soon.

Edit2: After this thread was posted and I linked it to support, they unlocked my account. Still missed out on the bet I was trying to get in tonight. Still don't recommend playing here anymore. You deposit your money to try and get a play in, and they hold it for a few days preventing you from doing so. Support still hasn't responded lately.

Edit3: They ended up giving me a free bet for tonight. It made up for the money I lost not being able to play the game I wanted to. I'm happy again. I was just understandably a little upset not being able to play the game I had deposited my coins to play.

Huh. I've used NitrogenSports in the past and never had problems with it(besides the horrible UI/UX on mobile).

Anyway, since your problem has been solved already, it seems like they simply just have really bad customer support. This is the exact reason why I always tell people to publicly expose certain websites if customer support isn't responding. Giving them bad publicity really works. :P

Yeah.. It's ironic when a high ranking member with +trust posts something bad about them, they decide to snap into action. Too bad I didn't post this before the game I was trying to play tonight that would have won. At least I finally got my coins back. Even though It should have been double what it is now.. Been trying to get account back for a few days and then miraculously minutes after posting this thread it's unlocked. Crazy how that works.

Yep. They definitely don't want to soil their public figure, hence they act a lot faster when someone puts them under a bad light. To be fair though, maybe they genuinely detected something "fishy" with your account. Probably detected someone trying to bruteforce into your account. It would've been fine if only they responded quickly though.

Yeah.. I'm fine with them locking it. But, I had every intention of playing that game tonight. It was my game of the week. To be fair, I told them that if I couldn't get that bet in before the game, that I would post this thread. It shouldn't take a week to see that the coins have been coming from the exact same address for years.

Have they given you any explanation as to why your account was locked after the fact? Or have they simply unlocked your account and said nothing about why it had occurred in the first place?

To be honest, I've played on Nitrogen plenty of times before and it's definitely disappointing to see OP's case like this. One of the most important aspects of a sportsbook in my opinion is to give customers maximum control over their rightful funds. What they did here without any warnings or explanation is definitely unacceptable. Their support not doing anything about the case even though the promised timeframe had already passed also isn't acceptable.

Anyhow, I'd still trust Nitrogen with small amounts. But when it comes to big amounts, I wouldn't really trust any crypto sportsbook at the moment (there has been a lack of quality ones really). They can lock your funds at any time just like what happened here.

Got an explanation today. It's because my brother sent me some coins to my wallet from his account. That's the cause of all of this. I guess you're not allowed to send coins to friends/family whenever you win decent bets. I didn't know this, but his account was locked and is still locked because of it. With a balance still in it. I got a fairly rude message from a customer service manager named Nick today. He said I shouldn't have threatened anyone to post this thread and that this thread shouldn't exist. I'm done with this website. Someone please recommend me a new sportsbook. I guess the issue was that my brother logged into his account while here watching games one day? Also, the fact that he withdrew coins from there to my wallet once. I'm guessing they think i'm trying to scam them out of tiny fractions of Bitcoins from his betting? Idk.. I know it wasn't a security measure to protect me in any way. I guess the moral of the story is don't let your friends/family that you have promoted this website to log into their account or send you coins after you have promoted this website to them if they're at your house watching a game.

If you still want to discuss more about this then it should be moved to reputation where more people can view it and comment about this behaviour from reputed betting site.

It looks like they have some bot that compares addresses and accounts and locks them to prevent money laundering, ban evasion, betting from many accounts, the usual stuff.
The problem is there's no human to verify this or there's not enough people to verify and unlock the accounts.
At least it's not a scam but understaffed for sure.

I remember the time that I always use nitrogen when betting on sports but they locked my account 1 time and it took almost a week before I got my funds back, I never visited the site anymore after that.

They ended up making it right. Gave me a free bet for the trouble and I ended up winning that. So, i'm happy. Just be warned that there's a possibility that you may not be able to play the game you were looking to play if they decide to lock your account for any reason. Also, my brother ended up getting access to his account back after posting that information in this thread earlier. I'm sorry for the bad publicity NitrogenSports, but when you do right, I praise you. When you're in the wrong, i'll call you out on it. In this case, they ended up making it right in the long run. It's unfortunate that I had to make this thread to make that happen though.

Hey. Noticed you removed your NitrogenSports signature and avatar. Did you leave the campaign voluntarily? or did they actually remove you from the campaign due to you publicly posting this issue?

Hey OP, that's bad. I'm not a Nitro user myself - I publicly post where I bet on my own thread in Gambling section - but the choice has never had anything to do with their reputation. As far as I'm concerned, they're pretty all right (only they don't have the best odds or margins!).

But if there's one thing I can't abide with online casinos, it's when they freeze or confiscate user funds. If they had anything to suspect, they should have prevented you from even depositing, is all I say. And TRULY unfortunate that players often have to resort to washing laundry in public to get some action.

You should still ask for an explanation, and yeah... what's with the signature removal after being with them for so long?

Yeah They had my acct locked as well the last couple of days to so simply wanting to transfer some BTC back to a guy who loaned me some in chat. They then froze my acct while I had .03 of .05 in open bets. Froze my account for 3 days. I  had a lock I was going to play and could not do so. I was going to play my last .02 on and NCAA game and was locked out for 3 days. needless to say I am arguing with support I feel that they owe me a decent freebet now i have .003 BTC due to them locking me. Oh and I still cant transfer out... So my acct was froze for 3 days for nothing. Now today I load up nitrogen to bet my last .003 on baylor, and it is broken...I could not bet the BAYLOR game and missed out on a .0003 win.... I am VERY UNSATISFIED WITH NITROGEN SPORTS. I personally Believe they owe me a free bet!!!!!!!

Who do I contact to get this done????

Support is completely ignoring my request. Nitrogen OWES ME ATLEAST .02BTC freebet ATLEAST!!!!

First of all you need to know the reason why your account was locked,in the previous case there is not enough reason to freeze the funds but they did so they gave a free bet to OP but don't thing they will compentiate for all the cases.

Do you have any screenshot to make more much clear for the people to understand what they are doing in your case? If have post it here or go to scam accusation section.

I have tried their services a few times and I haven't encountered my account being lock for security measures. However, I have been exploring other sport bookies as well and that link I provided may help you. Best of luck!!!

The reason is most likely multi accounting it happened to me more than once out of nowhere they'll freeze your account and accuse you because you're related to certain user ids. 

@Devawnm If your account is still locked you should post on their ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355081.0). That's what I did when my account was locked few weeks ago I immediately posted on their thread and it got unlocked afterwards. Also try sending a ticket to support linking your post.
