I don't know why but I have a sneaky feeling LTC is going to do really well in 2019 Q1-2 for some reason.
It may be the whisperings of LTC bank licenses and debit card deals or simply last night's chicken vindaloo but my gut is saying that the chicken will arise once more...

I don't know about the LTC bank licenses. It could be a good thing for sure. But one important reason why LTC could do good this year is the halving event that is due to happen in 193 days. You can follow the countdown at: https://www.litecoinblockhalf.com/ As you can see the block reward is going to go from 25 to 12.5 coins. This may bring some good things in terms of lower supply and hopefully price increase.

The problem is that the price of litecoin is tied very closely to bitcoin so the effect of the litecoin halving may not be seem until bitcoin halves next year.

valid argument but look at the ltc/btc chart. the decoupling from btc price has already started, ltc is up about 10% in btc terms in the past 30 days alone...

Yes, Litecoin is doing not bad now. Price did increase compare to Bitcoin and to USD too. Nice prediction.

Litecoin has been under values over time and I think 2019 it might give a surprise price movement.  I was happy when I see it moving over $300 this time last year and today we have a very bad price of around $38. I know almost all the coins has lose over 80% of the highest value and that means we are should expect recovery from all of them but litecoin is peculiar and I think it is going to be the next big things. For those that really want to invest in over sold coins and make good money I believe that now should be the right time.

He did it and I'm surprised awhile ago to see that LTC is doing good and it is one of the biggest gainers today. And while surfing here in speculations I just saw this thread and surprised of seeing it that he posted it few days ago.

they are launching mainnet with masternodes and voting DACs sometime in March (exact date has not yet been announced). this will out perform the general crypto market in the near short term. the first green dildo just appeared  ;)

Never heard about Litecoin and its bank license, is that real, confirmed? This news could be better than ETF!  8)

i still say there is no reason for LTC to rise on its own and it won't happen anytime soon either. the only pump that you can hope for is the pump that is going to happen as soon as bitcoin rises as we all know litecoin has always been the only altcoin that follows bitcoin during rises while other altcoins get dumped.

If there is any big buy on litecoin then we can find the bump in this coin. There are many cryptos bumping every day without a reason. So you are looking reason for the coin's bump means that is unusual then.

Always this kind of coins are preferably to invest for long term focus. So please think well and invest on the right coin to make money out of it.

usually XRP is the one that holds its US value against BTC price increases....also now we have stablecoins so things may have changed.

Yes, price increases when big buyer/s come/s to market. But, let's not forget that we are talking about LTC, not any shitcoin.

its real, if you research it you will see that LTC foundation bought a stake in an EU bank, they have been slowly increasing that stake ever since  ;)

So, what's the take on the chicken gut readings this time? My leaf readings, tarot and mouse entrails are all telling me Litecoin is due a huge surprise this year, but then now ETH's gone on and taken all the attention away. Crazy how people are reacting, but it's barely 30% of my entry price ($400).

I'll be much more comfortable if it's LTC that gets that $400, but that's pure speculation.

i think people are jumping up to the rises way too soon.
the pumps have not yet started and for now these small rises are meaningless and too small to even be considered a "thing" to start a discussion about. and lets not forget about the newbies who have been bag holding and are waiting for a chance to dump and get out so that they can get their money back to put in some other coin which they think can give them profit.
this means the rises would be so slow and pumps are going to be extremely hard.
