How much Bitcoin price Expected end of this year

Personally, if it is only hope, I hope that in the end of this year, the price of bitcoin will be able to rise again, not a big or small problem, but what I need is an increase that can revive optimism and investor confidence in bitcoin after the fading end because the market conditions are always decreasing.

For me also the best will not be necessarily an high increase but an increase that could give us and newcomers confidence for a market recovery and more stable increase.

Sorry, but my price option is not on the list. I think it will go past 25,000 close to 50,000. But at least 30,000 is very feasible. Bitcoin does not care about investor confidence. It may not sound good but that is the truth.

Only the fools have been making it in bitcoin. They do the unreasonable, believe what is not feasible, HODL and forget that they did.   Personally to me, the whole bitcoin thing is a game. What will happen will happen when it will happen. Besides this, I am not really sure about anything, but I know it will happen. 8)

Currently, the market is just too unpredictable. From the ETF saga to hacking of some exchanges, just too many sentiment in the market. I am afraid the bear market might just continue while traders continue to go about their normal activities of trading.

As always, people like to talk on the topic of bitcoin prices :) It's hard to say exactly which direction the balance will swing this year. Of course, everyone hopes for the best and good bitcoin growth. I think the price will rise and reach the level of 5 thousand, and possibly more.

I think this kind of voting is very interesting to know the atmosphere of the market at that time. But I think you have forgotten the choices of $ 1,000, $ 2000 and $ 3,000 ;D

I voted for $ 5000. I think that the price will not rise unless there is a big factor such as approval of ETF in the atmosphere of the current market.

What's gonna happen by the end of the year is completely dependent on the large scale adoption as well support from government which leads to good news getting spread related to bitcoin. In this way possibly the price will reach around $5000 by the end of the first quarter and further the same will grow gradually reaching $10000 by the end of the year.

I think the price will be above $ 9000 for one bitcoin. Many optimists are waiting for a new historical maximum this year, but I very much doubt. Growth should be smooth.

What support from the government are you expecting? ETF approval? There is only the Bitwise ETF left, and I'm sure that they'll be wiped off the table too.

Nothing will help the price bounce back up until we have found a bottom and most of the bagholders and get rich quick investors dumped their coins. I'm certain that even Bakkt won't do much in the near term aside from a potential mini pump that will be sold down by bots in a matter of days.

Poor volumes, lack of short term interest, continuous lower lows, this is what we can and should expect from a bear market.

With my powerful intellect and gypsy blood I predict this will be a year of not very much. I can well believe we're yet to hit our ultimate low. I can't see any particular reason for powerful rises either. We may well drift up a bit and finish relatively OK. I ain't betting on it.

LOL Bitcoin price won't even go into the bullish market or even go up if the traders has no confidence in the market. If you think Bitcoin can move up on its own then think again we are the ones creating the demand here and without us trusting the market we will see it fall. Even your expectations of Bitcoin being above 25,000$ won't be feasible if you yourself don't trust what you are holding. So if you want to see Bitcoin go up then you should be part of the people who are hodling Bitcoin until now.

Depends if the market is still bear by eoy.. if it is the price might be where it is now. Some people think it will go bull on either v-good news in say mere months, or it will take >1y..

Just as it can't move down on its own either. It depends on who helps it move either way. And the rumor has it that the 2017 sprint to 20k was not due to traders but thanks to Bitfinex printing infinite amounts of tethers with which they had been buying up real bitcoins. If this rumor is true, that leaves us with no other conclusion but the one according to which we are not the ones out there who can create demand for bitcoins. Basically, this demand can be easily created out of thin air, just like fiat money

Voted the maximum price on the pool because I am expecting to see huge growth for the prices of bitcoin this year as per the crypto of bitcoin price chart.But the rest is not in our hand we are just spectators and see how the market moves when it become happened.

I expect bitcoin to go as high as $8500 by the end of this year.  I strongly believe that bitcoin is going to close 2019 higher than 2019 and that means many traders and investors that can hold will make some good profits this year 2019.

It seems majority of the community have very high hopes for bitcoin, I predict bitcoin to at a point reach and eclipse the prices listed, but I can not predict the time frame which that would happen.
For 2018 the price could hover between $5000 and $10000 for most of the year, should the value bounce back.

Year 2019 started with Bitcoin price at $3740. Two weeks before that price reached current bottom at $3190.  Price of Bitcoin should hang between $3500 and $5500 until October when bull market will start. And reach $8000 at end of the year.

There's no point speculating on that yet. We established a new long term downtrend just a couple months ago, so we need to wait and see where the market bottoms and forms a new trading range first. That'll tell us a lot about what to expect later in 2019 or early 2020. I'd be willing to make a prediction later in the year, maybe during the summer, depending how the chart shapes up.

Bitcoin price this year is still unpredictable but many of us are hoping that it will rise again soon,but for now we need a strong support and positive news like ETF approval it helps to encourage investors to invest again and if it will happen the demand of Bitcoin increase again.

In my opinion probably 9k is enough on this year because market seems still have no enough strength because it always fluctuate after the small progress.   And in my view if this situation always happened for sure market will not increase more until year end.

I'm surprised that out of 9 people who voted, 3 actually think that we'll end above 10k considering the current circumstances. Well there's nothing wrong about being optimistic but i guess that's a little farfetched. At best we could hover around the 8-10k area i think.

They don't care whether they do anything themselves that would actually contribute to Bitcoin's mass adoption like urging their suppliers to accept cryptocurrencies as a payment. They just sit tight on their hands and demand that "for it to work to some degree people should be able to have a chance to make profits in a reasonable amount of time". Without real adoption, your only chance to make profits in "a reasonable amount of time" is to take these profits from someone else, someone like you. But sitting on your hands ("I am long bitcoin and will go down with the ship if that happens") won't help you get even a penny

I can't see any increase in the number of transactions or in the value of the transactions that happen in the bitcoin chain. My initial thoughts were that we are going to recover in Q1 2019. Now I think that we are going to fall a little more from $3300. I believe that the price in the end of this year will be around $4000, a stagnant year, and maybe we are going to see a rise again in 2020.

Now it's 5/11 who think we'll hit $10K+. I don't think people would be this bullish if the bottom was already in. At the bottom in 2015, everyone was bearish.


What about exchanges? I'm pretty sure Bitmex, Bitfinex and others have been front running orders and running peoples' stops for years. I've met some disheartened Bitmex traders who feel like trading there = playing the house.

Well it's hard to say what will be the price of bitcoin at the end of 2019. Lets observe for now because until now bear market is on. But hopefully we see a move up in the market so we can make a little profit.

I don't dare to expect high price this year because last year when people says bitcoin were not fall to $3xxx below but in fact at that range the current of bitcoin but depend on the situations related to bitcoin news i think the price will determine by market decissions whether it will be bad or good and if upcoming news is bad then probably we will see the price stick to current range or below

The sad truth is that there is the house in trading, even though it doesn't exist as a single entity like with casinos. First of all, it is exchanges themselves as others have already pointed out. They have an undisputed advantage (yeah, an edge) before traders, and it would very shortsighted to think that they won't make use of it. Further, there are different types of insiders who have first-hand information about future events. For example, that could be dudes from regulating bodies like the SEC, CFTC, and other such entities, whose decisions affect the cryptomarket. Then there are arbitrageurs who are also milking the market whenever there is an opportunity, while staying away from trading when there is none

In this manner, if we consider crypto as a zero-sum game (which is not too far from truth), trading starts looking suspiciously similar to gambling for the ordinary trading folk (i.e. when you are not of these dudes). If you are a simple trader, it pretty much means that you can't take money from this crowd, so your chances get reduced while theirs can be rightfully considered a house edge which you can't beat

My opinion is that bitcoin will reach this year 10,000$ but this is just my thought and i can't say 100% this will be the price or higher or just much lower, but i think after Bakkt the price will increase.

Believe me it's so hard to say... People were expecting 10K and higher at the end of 2018 but as you see, instead of rise from 6-7k to higher, we got huge loss, bitcoin's price felt from 7k to 4k, glad it didn't go below 3K. So from this, with current statistics no one can predict future price, imagine if current price go under 3K, I think number 2 will cause stress in people, once they'll become very pesimistic, bitcoin will dive.

I'm confident that we can hit the price of $10,000 this year because bitcoin will bounce back from the bear market and many adoption with cryptocurrency can happen. Its hard to hit that price but I know it will be more possible if all people will use cryptocurrency again, I mean the demand will increase again. 2019 will be good, let's think for that one.

it is highly unlikely that we see a new ATH this year in my opinion. what is possible to happen however is that we will see a rise start up like what happened previous time after the big dump of 2014. and that rise will be able to bring bitcoin at at least $10,000 so my choice would be somewhere between the $10k and $15k poll options.
and lets not forget that the recoveries always happen like this, slow at first with multiple trace-backs before the big rises start. and that can take a year.

$10k-$15k wouldn't be a slow recovery at all. it would be a much faster recovery than we saw in 2015.

let's hypothetically assume the market already bottomed out. if we use the 2015 lows and highs as a model for the current market, we can expect a 230% increase by the end of the year = $7189.

i'm guessing $7k-$8k is the best bulls can expect in 2019. if december wasn't truly the bottom, i would revise that target even lower.

I voted for $ 5000 and I think it will the max reached in the end of this year for many reasons the  principal one the low of price last year  can have a serious psychological effect on a person who invest.

True, haven't looked at it from that angle. I think you have a good point. Exchanges are gaining through transactional fees which allow them to profit from everyone even though they lose or win. That is kind of like the share the house is taking.

I do not expect bitcoin to grow more than 10k, because it is difficult to see from the last 10 months.
I hope that bitcoin will grow in the next few months until its position is at 9k, maybe that way, there are many altcoins that can grow better

I am speculating that bitcoin should be around $10,000 by the end of this year.  We should expect a drastic change of bitcoin price directions by end of June.  Most of the technical indicators are now showing sign of extremely over sold and it is a good measure as it point to a change of trend directions.  If you are a risk taker I will admonish you to buy bitcoin from now till end of May as that is when most great change happen in cryptocurrencies market.

I vote for $7500 although we know that no one can predict the price of bitcoin by the of the year still we hoping that it will higher that to December price 2018. Hopefully it will be happen so it will be good for us.

It's far too long period of time to make such predictions. People speculate with different values, usualy very high ones that are more product of wishful thinking than any solid analisys or result. I'm more focused on some close future and how to adjust the current conditions on the market. I expect for price to rise but that will be slow and graduate process and I don't think Bitcoin can come to 10000$ this year.

No technical indicator can show you that

I mean there is no such indicator that can really predict or foretell that there will be a price rise like 3 times. Where did you get that and what "most of the technical indicators" you refer to here? At most, they can show you that a trend change can be expected but none of them will tell you the range of this new trend. Some people are using TA with crypto but I'm curious how much is that different from tossing a coin in its predictive capacity

My choice is lower than $5000 for the end of this year but I believe that there might be an unknown factor that might really help in pumping the price of bitcoin this year. ETFs and the BAKKT may help help increase the bitcoin price this year but I doubt if this rise will lead to another bullrun. The following year 2020 is a halving year but some traders and investors believe that bullrun will only happen months after the halving.

That is too damn high to be reached considering the point we are right now. There are many more to happen if you want to see the price get trippled within a year. And also people have seen the up and down and they are now more afraid to be involved in cryptocurrencies. Volatility can hit them hard and have a negative impact in their financials. Thus, investors' segment has been shrunk compared to early 2018.

rationally and in data, I am very confident that the price of bitcoin will be at rates of more than 5,000USD at the end of this year. indeed mathematically, I am not too sure of any significant changes. 2019 can be said as a beginning to reach a much higher level when it reaches its peak in 2020. Bitcoin is now increasingly in demand and more and more people are using bitcoin, this is a very good growth circulation. we only have to wait for a while until someday bitcoin can become a major commodity in the global financial system.

$10k is not really that high to consider no matter where the bitcoin is. What people forget about bitcoin is that we were around 900 dollars during may, a bit over 1500 dollars during summer, around 3 thousand dollars on November and at 20 thousand dollars on December when bull happened. It means bitcoin went from being around 700 dollars at its lowest to 20 thousand dollars at its highest on 2017.

Now, it doesn't have to be the same and I am sure everyone agrees that we will not see 20 thousand dollars anytime soon. However, do not forget that its bitcoin, tomorrow the price could be 1500 dollars or 10 thousand dollars and both of them would be understandable, we will not be shocked by neither of them. There is no world where bitcoin moves to a direction thats a surprise for us. Hence 10 thousand dollars is possible, will it happen ? I don't know but can it happen ? Of course.

So if you expect Bitcoin to be 1500 dollars or 10000 dollars tomorrow and neither will surprise you, then prepare to be surprised as Bitcoin will likely continue to stand still for the next couple of months or even next half a year. Maybe the price of bitcoin will around $7000 to $8000 but still we do not know what would be the exact price. I still expecting for a high price and I keep on praying that the price of bitcoin will rise so there will be a small chance that will reached the price of $7000 or $8000.

I will say the price of bitcoin will hit $10000 atleast if we enters into the bull market for a while and anything after that value need to be consider as a huge bonus for the people who kept their patience at the hard days.

What happens with the price in long run or by the end of the year is simply unpredictable. From the present market situation it has got possibility to reach the $10000 barrier. The price of bitcoin is not ready to be on $4000 from experts prediction. Maybe the barrier breakthrough will lead to drastic growth in a much gradual way. Price is all about the demand to the supply and this give value according to the prevailing market.

More than $5000 I expected for the value of the bitcoin before end of this year 2019 and I believe it will possible become 10k upto 20k dollars depends on the demand on the market. But possible still not to see the market great again once people did not particpates to buying and holding their coins for sure we cannot see that. I do really agree with you and bitcoin may really grow to $10,000 by the end of this year 2019. It that mean now should be the right time to invest into cryptocurrencies and bitcoin as there are currently very affordable.  For those thinking that the bearish trend is not over I disagree with you and it seems no one is ready to sell bitcoin below $3000.

I think 10k is a good amount, it would be a manageable option if we take into account that most Bitcoins can be accumulated this year, if so, I think we could be talking about bitcoin entering the uptrend.

I expect extended bear market so, these prices in pool do not match my opinion. I think that 5k USD is higher what will BTC have this year. By the way it is good time to start buying BTC defenitely.

For me I will choose $10000 because I know it will really happen in the end of this year. Just stay positive guys because bitcoin will hit the price of $10000 in the end of 2019 and in the first or second quarter of 2020 the price of bitcoin will explode and it will go to the moon again.

Maybe if this year not  fully recover the market. Maybe your thinking the highest for the bitcoin is better to become double.  For me even 10k dollars is the highest value of the bitcoin but it will be better if they going back to thw $20,000 which is possible to happen still. Through the voting majority have supported for the price to be around $8500 which is reasonable. Apart from this anything could happen with the market as the growth of bitcoin as well other cryptocurrencies were completely technology backed. I expect at least to reach $10000 by the year end.

If the poll is still open I would vote for the lowest price. I don't expect the price to rise very high on December because during these first few months the price is kind of stable there's barely any improvement and this could go on until the end of the year.

The growth in bitcoin would be very slow this year but I think we will still get to a very good rate that can yield a lot of profit, we can expect that bitcoin would get to $10000 by the end of the year but this will happen slowly.

We might first see a growth within the range of $4000 - $5000 for about 4 months then we might see a break beyond the $5000 range in the third quarter which might struggle between $5500 - $6000, after all this we will see a major break in the fourth quarter that will drive the price of bitcoin to as high as $10000.

Pure speculations, we can speculate as much as we wish, but that will not change anything. I know that cause I`m speculating for years and and I`m well aware of my past predictions and how many of them was wrong. We all have wishes and predictions, what I want to say is that we should be prepared for other scenarios too. It will be easy if we see double price from current price, many people are in profit and they will feel happy, but what if price drop to 2k dollars? Do not expect too much from your prediction, it will hurt if that doesn`t happen. Be objective and wait for price, if price go too high I will sell some, if it goes lower I will buy some, point is always have a plan for good and worst case.

To me, I think it will reach till 10k because the market looks disgusting. Currently its $3800 and slowly things will change in the second quarter and third quarter will be more interesting, we can give prediction as per our opinions but in reality we need to wait and watch.

We are all hoping for that to happen. I hope that bitcoin will able to increase even if a little movement just to boost the confidence of ours to make some transaction or investment. when talking about hope, surely everyone expects the highest bitcoin price. but here I am not too tempted by the huge price of bitcoin, I just hope that the price of bitcoin can give us confidence in those of us who live in the world of cryprtocurrency.

There is no any big growth in BTC so far this year and I guess it might reach 12k by the end of this year as the peak season starts in the last quarter, we are still in bear market there is no doubt in that. hopefully we can expect a bull run in few months and there is no stability in the market which is disappointing the small scale Investors.

I don't think it will reach 12k by the end of this year because everyone was expecting already that the halving will start the bullish market. My best guess would be $5k+ since we are in a bearish trend already. No bullish trend will start this year and if you happen to see some, then it is not bullish, it is just a bull trap to make a new line for newbies to kick out in the market.

What we're at present isn't the perfect bear market. The bullish trend is being kept aside by the large whales with large accumulated funds. Anytime this could get into the circulation and the same will get back a big increase. In this regard I expect at least to go above $8500 before the year end marking a big change in the growth scale of bitcoin before the halving happens.

We do not know what will happen with the price of bitcoin in the future, it is very difficult to predict because prices are very volatile. I can only hope that by the end of the year the price of bitcoin will increase. I hope that by the end of the year the price of bitcoin will reach $ 5,000. I am sure this is hard because the price of bitcoin is still difficult to rise so far, so that going up to $ 5,000 takes longer, and I hope that by the end of the year bitcoin can achieve it.

I will go for 5000 USD not too shabby, and not too realistic if I will choose 25k USd.. I know for sure it is the one that we are hoping for. It is better to climb up slow and fall down a little than to jump higher and fall even harder, it is a damn pain to remember those days.

Well, somehow I would say so it is not that perfect but do you think it is not? I mean, like come on have you seen the last price of ATH then went downhill until $3.2k or something for almost a year? For me, it's almost perfect that it would end most Bitcoin enthusiast journey but somehow they managed to change the course a little bit just to stir up something and to protect it from drowning.

I don't like to predict round numbers but I will try my luck. It can go till 8000$ price level but going over this level is beyond my prediction. This year prices can't intersect 12k$ price level in my humble opinion.

For something as valuable, volatile and very unpredictable such as Bitcoin, it will be very hard to make a prediction. Personally speaking, i do not have the capability to do such thing. By the end of this year, i can only hope for Bitcoin to do good or much much better than this days. 2019 could be the best year for the Bitcoin: Cryptocurrency prices were in the doldrums in 2018. This, however, does not mean that there is no scope for improvement. and would have raised the price of bitcoin, because what I see today will sometimes increase and sometimes decrease. Bitcoin is just a part of the cryptocurrency market. so we can not call it a bitcoin to really increase that we need only patience and long-term understanding, as long as we look forward to our success.

The best prediction for this year end to actually happen would be $6000 and it should also hold this mark for some months just to make it look more liquid than speculated.

The new players you're saying are still speculations dude. Currently there are noe and the market is pretty stagnant because confidence isn't that high for them to really put in money. I mean i share your hopes for a 10 to 15k end of the year value but it's really doubtful lol.

Lol. This speculation is really optimistic and I wonder how you reach this consensus. I mean that there is no clear indication that Bitcoin can hit the price you have mention during this year. If it were to reach it, it should have already started moving upwards in order to be a little near and below $10k. I cant think of making it over 8k this year.

Still 8+ months are their to go for this year so i think still we can expect the price to move above 10k, and 2020 may is halving period so 10k price is not a big thing to achieve this year.

I know that will be too high, but it is okay to have that prediction as we don't know the truth about the price. Maybe it could down again and then up again. But I only think that the price will still fluctuate on this year and sometime, the price will get an instant pump and get back to the price before.

If the price can reach $10,000 at the end of this year, then it could be in the next year, the price will increase more than $20,000.
