I'm starting a betting run for 1 BTC

on a daily base I will try to create a victorious ticket and reinvest the whole amount on another ticket/s
the odds will be maybe low, but patience, cause the main thing is to win the bet, no matter how big the odds are

the initial bet will be 0,00145 BTC, that is an equivalent to 5$ at the moment of writing this post

That's a good plan. All the best on the run for one bitcoin through betting. In the past I've achieved the same, but it all happened through luck as I didn't went with low odds all the time. Now it is really hard for me to achieve such a win within a month or two as at present I'm away from luck.

Lets see how this one goes.If i do see some interesting bets maybe i'll decide to tail up. Focusing on low odds isnt bad but patience and bankroll management will be crucial.

I hope luck favors you. In a bad day or bad match you might end up losing all if you do not keep your head clean. This is a very risky quest. How much you are planning to invest all together?

Instead of playing with whole amount you need to split the bets to minimize the risk.

Good luck, but I hope you realize going all in on 1 bet is not a good idea. Basic strategy would suggest 1% of your bankroll per bet.

The match already started and after the first half the score is still zero.
I tell you what mate, I have seen teams to finish their match in 0 - 0. I used to create accumulator with over 0.5. Never own any hehe

The only thing anyone can wish you here is good luck and may the odds favor you because thats all you need. You have made a decision but if you keep on playing with $5, how long will it take you to exhaust the entire 1btc?


The end justifies the means is what they say and its not over, until its over. He might lose this or win, there is still a long way to go which means there is no need to panic over this.

I did not mean to panic. I have seen number of matches where you are expecting that there will be multiple score but end up with no score. I know it from my experience as I said I used play accumulator bet using over/under 0.5 gloas

You are trying to turn 0,00145BTC into 1btc that means you are trying to increase your initial investment by ~690 times. I don't want to hurt your feelings but that looks pretty impossible to me. If you somehow manage to get 1btc by gambling with 0.00145 you are most likely to get depressed for not wagering more and then lose it again. Any way, good luck, i'd like to see you win this.

Your way of betting is actually quite the opposite of what I am doing. I made myself a promise I will never take odds under 1.5 again. I have lost so many tickets on small odds. Somehow it hurts much more if I miss 1.1 odds then 2.x. My strategy is usually to bet big on odds between 2 and 3. If I get half of them correct I end with decent profits.

Great, I'll watch you thread but as I understand you have to go from 0.001 to 1 bitcoin in 60 days? I highly doubt that's achievable, what will you do if you lose all money for example on 0.8 bitcoin? or even at the begining?

Of course I need luck here, but also I will try to do my best to pick the daily winning pair, no matter what will the odd value be
Even if I loose at the last bet for 1 BTC, I'm loosing only the ~5$ value from my first bet, this is how I'm thinking


It can be that I will choose a higher odd, I'm picking the probability of winning, not only looking at the odds


The match ended 0:3, I saw lot of 0:0 games in the past, of course, but here I was 100% sure that minimum one goal will be scored


I'm starting with ~5$ and assuming that I win the bet, the next bet will be placed with the 5$+the profit, so in my case of yesterday, I started with 0.00145BTC, I won the bet, and today I'm making the bet with 0.00166BTC, and the day after if I won, the bet will be 10-15% higher
it's an accumulation bet contest, up to win a whole BTC  8)

IMO, the real temptation will set in when you've got a high level of about 0.5 BTC or there about, losing it all then will be more depressing then and would feel like it was an 0.5 BTC initially bankroll that was lost.

So basically, you're trying to achieve almost x75? Good luck indeed it's nearly impossible. I guess with the power of compounding you can get there very quickly if you only do 1.15 all the time so if you achieve it, we'll all be really happy.

I will advise not to do that once you will have decent amount. Split the bet or bet a certain amount, not all in. This will keep you alive even if you lose some bet.

I am assuming you are going to bet on the sure outcomes but remember these sure highly predictable markets also go wrong. If it happens then you will lose all at once.

Looking at these two bet I am assuming most of your bets will be in the over/under 0.5 market and they will be 0.5 always.

I like to bet on over/under markets, but I will choose for sure in the future not only the 0.5 market, today I saw that this match could be my second good winning pair and that's it, I chose it for my bet
Splitting bets to keep some amount alive is a good idea, will use this solution later

I never did any research about these teams. If this is a quarter final match then I assume it's a knock out stage. I hope both team don't play defensive by thinking that attacking may cause them a goal by the opponent.

Good luck on your goal and I would recommend never going all in on one bet.  At the most do 50% of your total balance so you have another shot to regain your losses in case you lose.

I completely agree here. Splitting makes it more fun and you also have more possibilities to stay in the game longer which would be pretty cool since this is a fun idea.

I remember the times I tried to do the same thing, I won almost 10-15 in a row and losses all in the next bet. I would say going all in until the end isn't a good idea, even a 1.01x odds can hit you hard. I still remember my live bet at soccer game, 89 minutes in the game and both team scored 4 more

I think your initial bank is to small (only 5$ in BTC), and because of that it will be difficult for you to achieve your goal and make 1 BTC in 60 days, especially if you play such low odds. But I agree with your strategy to play on goals and not only on who will win the game, this is something much easier to guess.

I play on such events before, BTS (both team to score), and I have very nice results - but I spend lot of time to find games where both teams have good chance to score and I never play more then 3 events on one ticket.

However this contest/challenge it's not just that, it is also fun and enjoying in the sports events. In any case, good luck&good profit ;)

Ok there is another topic of recording bet log. So I assume OP was inspired by that user. On this one OP really started with very little investment which I suggested to give it a go with a decent amount of money. Also OP needs to do his homework before placing a bet.

That’s a pretty new thread for betting and it’s been going good so far. I know there should be no regret in trying, we all know that your goal is hard, but at least you tried. It just wasn’t your day.

I suggest you set a bank aside, bet no more than 10% of it on ANY bet , no matter how attractive it looks
and try to look for value bets , the vast majority of the bets of yours were ... well too mainstream to offer any good return

Sorry to see it ended this fast. I really liked your idea and will give it a try myself. I will give it some more thought tonight and start a thread tomorrow. It will probably be more like testing few different betting strategies each week and see which gives best results and use of forum to get other users perspective and input, both on strategies and tips.

For starters, does anyone know a reputable bitcoin gambling site with high margins on tennis handicaps? Meaning odds like 1.95 on middle line for both players. 1.85 is much to low to run a profitable strategy and that is what i see on Nitrogen and few others i tried.

Really bad luck. Didn't watch the game but I am quite sure dortmund made some goal chances. That is why I don't play such low sure odds. You miss them once in a while and then, at least in my case, i feel really bad for playing.

Yesterday was also a bad day for me and I lost my weekly btc bank. But it was odds of 1.7 and 2.1 and somehow i feel better because of it.

My opinion that your mistake is choose low coefficient.
Low coef is not mean that you will win.

Usually when I play a few days even weeks in a row without posting what am I betting on, my tickets are positive, I’m breaking my karma by putting them online, this is the only logic explanation to myself :)

I followed you with this one since I think it has good value. It seems that Benfica is underestimating Dinamo a bit. Their coach left home few important players to rest them. That kind of approach could be enough for Dinamo to get at least a draw on home turf.
