That ETH have a big problem in scalling is known

The switch to POS is maybe unpossible. For the Future I am sure a delegate POS or leased POS will be the leader.

I speak not from BTC.

My question to you: Have ETH a future with sharding incl. POW or not?

Waves is much faster and bring soon ERC20 Toker to their chain.

METAHASH is still in Testing.

TRON comes soon with Token for Bittorrent and is also fast and also compatible to ERC20.

You can't really compare all of the four coins, except for waves and ethereum since both of them are crowdfunding coins, i guess you can add metahash too but it's currently not known, tron is dealing on the different side of technology.

That's the problem of Ethereum, but if Ethereum has fixed max supply, then it will be much better than any Token/Coin that OP mentioned. but in this condition, I will choose TRON. they are quite consistent with the project, especially with the news of the BitTorrent, I'm sure TRON will get stronger in the future and 2019 is the "start" for them

There are too many big worldwide companies behind ethereum, so I guess they won't let ETH down. Waves is not bad platform from technical standpoint, TRON doesn't know what it want to do - only marketing matters. METAHASH is unknown for me, can't say anything about it. Still there are Cardano, Zilliqa, NEO, EOS an others, but I refuse to believe that ethereum foundation won't handle the pressure.

The worth of ETH in past came from the ICO`s.

On which platfrom are the next which are 100% safe in direction Regulation / Policy?

My Opinion is only the best which real usercase will have sucess for long Time.

Eth is losing its popularity very fast. They are always late with updates, the devs team is very slow. IMHO most of new ICO's will start on other platforms.

I don't know, I want to opini about ethereum which will remain the choice of many people in the future. But on the one hand TRON and also experienced good growth. Maybe I will experience confusion when choosing the best in the future.

When it scalability and transaction speed, I think Waves leads all on that list. But when it comes to popularity, there's no doubt that Ethereum is still on top. Ethereum 2.0 is a make or break for Eth I think. If it performs well, it will probably leave others behind.

No need to worry about which one is better. They are all created so you can choose which one you like and is comfortable for you to use.
Debating which is better won't end because every platform will always try to offer good things and make improvements to the platform.

Only waves has closer similarities to etherum and even with that usurping etherum Blockchain is not a easy thing to do

Between those 3 coins that you mentioned above, it is very likely for Waves to take the lead because of their technology and their sub-project. But, you do not have to take any decision yet until ETH activate their Constantinople hardfork in late February. Based on the data and news that I gathered before the hardfrok, this upgrade means to upgrade and solve ETH's scaling issue.

Ethereum usage is for building various project by smart-contract. I think it's not an end of ethereum. Ethereum will simply survive in any condition. For what better project, from all above, Tron has a huge potential to be a successful platfrom, but yet could beat ethereum.

I think that it is too early to compare the current state of ethereum with other coins. We need to wait for the implementation of improvements in ethereum and only after that we can already judge their competitiveness. It's too early to bury ethereum. This coin is still quite capable of being the leader of the altcoins.

I don't believe in any of the coins you've presented yet. In addition to ETH. There really is a lot of future and a lot of opportunities. Other platforms do not provide interest for me.

there are another platform of blockchain network that has good potential is also ready . It is called vechain , this chain has masternode program for the hodler. And this chain faster then ethereum and tron.

There is no problem with ethereum. It will be more bigger when it will come with PoS. Other than this, you can invest in TRON. I like it's creative platform, features and it is also low priced than the ATH. In bullrun, it can again reach the ATH.

I believe that the ethereum will recover after FORK. You're right about Ethereum's structural problems. However, team work to solve it. TRON or EOS may appear as an alternative as you specify if the ethereum runs out. However, the EOS wallet structure is not useful and TRON is now one step ahead.

it is not impossible for ethereum to switch to PoS or any other algorithms but nothing is going to solve its problems including scaling, in other words it has a lot more problems than just scaling that needs solving and some of them can't even be solved for example like the fact that it is not immutable and a non-immutable blockchain is worse than shit.
unfortunately other alternative platforms aren't good enough otherwise they would have replaced ETH a long time ago. but they have less problems for example some of them are actually decentralized so unlike ETH they have a big advantage.
