For some of us that has invested into some kind of icos and cryptocurrencies market generally are at the losing end now and many are discourage about the market performance.  I believe that if you invest into any altcoins and icos in 2017 and you did not sell then your investments should all be in red right now.  Speculators has tried to encourage us that we should keep investing and the future holds great price upwards movement for us.  I think we should not ignore their advice as cryptocurrencies market is going to recover and it will resume it upwards movement again when ETF is approve.  Don't be discouraged , keep hope with the market as I also do.

We don't have to see ETF approval for now and never because it is used by whales to manipulate the prices so the people who are looking for the approval will get disappointed when its not going to happen.
But surely yes the market will recover in future and we need to be strong and hold more potential crypto currencies as much as e can and better avoid ICO investment until the market fully gets recovers.

I know that the whales are going through the sec in other to be able to manipulate the market using ETF issues but I think they have done over due and  now we are to expect them to approve ETF very soon.  Icos and cryptocurrencies projects was the very reason why bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies market went down.  The developers and owners are now billionaires and millionaires in dollars and they become rich through the money and coins that was gathered during ico.  Like you have recommended, it is better to avoid ico investments now until everything recovered and we were able to see some truthful be brought into ico's market.

Yeah, your post is true for most part. I totally agree that almost everyone who had some for of investment from 2017 is surely deep in the red now. The truth still remains, as much as we wallow in our tears, there are people out there still maki6good bucks. I think this largely depends on orientation. People really need to understand that there's money to be made both in bull and bear market. That is not to say we should not start investing if there is still some cash to spare. The bear market will definitely still pass on by.

There is no way I'm ignoring the fact that the market is poised to recover, that is what my sight is set on.

We shouldn't think about ETF's anymore, we don't have to talk about it anymore and if you have seen the news lately. It was said that Cboe withdrews from the VanEck SolidX Bitcoin ETF proposal.

But I agree onto that part that it will recover somehow. Crypto has been surprising us in ups and downs but still keep on holding until the whole market itself becomes well again.

dude, do you keep your head for the latest update regarding bitcoin ETF? CBOE has already withdrawal its application and that means if US shutdown will continue and then there was no ETA about when the decision will be taken. I believe in bullrun but you must read the latest news about that.

Dont be discouraged but rather be smart on thinking other ways to earn money on this kind of market. If bitcoin doesnt fit for your earnings, then try investing to trusted ICOs. Just be careful on those scam wanted to take your money and go home. Always seek for an advise before putting your money there.

Discouragement is an emotion. Emotions are what led you to losing money in the first place. Leave them aside and only allow logic to guide you.
You lost money because you put money into silly investments. Start learning and be more cautious next time.
The cryptocurrency market has a lot of good projects that will appreciate in value, you need to put in the effort to find them though.

Encouragement will definitely be needed in the situation but if anything will won't run we cannot make any changes with the investment if the thing was right around make your own decision will be the right idea to satisfy with their investment being patients will also be helpful for you to take right decision.

Yes, keep holding on those investment and for sure recovery will start sooner or later. Projects in 2017 will have good and early 2018 have a great future just like Ins which have a great development since then. For now, just wait for it or find alternatives to earn even a little.

For quite some time, I feel discourage but I still end up holding my coins and tokens.
Correct, in fact I stopped looking at my blockfolio app 6 months ago, it will only cause my a health problem.

You’re right. Cryptocurrency investment is really been to hard to predict. It requires a great patient at least in terms of long term or either shor term.I tend to conclude that crypto is most favorable for those rich compared to poor since the rich will never rush to sale and will really keep on holding unlike the poor ones who are easily tempted to sell even such a little pricehike as long as there will be profit already.

We must continue to be excited because I am sure that the crypto market will definitely recover. However, the recovery of this market certainly cannot be fast and must be slow. The market is very difficult to predict and now all I can do is trade and invest in potential coins. And invest for the long term.

ETF does not help, we need other events and other breakthroughs. But there is really nothing to fear, the wave of recession has passed, now we are waiting for growth.

Every user has known better about the present market situation, importantly everyone is with full positivity about the market growth. What user mistake is the lack f patience, everyone expect the growth to happen immediately which isn't possible with the cryptocurrency network. As in the Op, the change is promising and we need to wait to get the fruit out of the same.

I would not expect a miracle from such events as Bakkt, ETF, fork and the like. All we need is for big market players to initiate a takeoff. This is primary. Positive news will come, we can be sure ;D.

I don't think BITCOIN ETF will move market in uptrend side back in 2017 peoples didn't knew much about ETF. When the ETF hype started market started to drop gradually with CBOE and CME Bitcoin futures. BAKKT is also big manipulators whenever they delay the their institutional grade exchange market drops drastically. In my opinion tis institutional investors have already investing their money in the crypto market and doing manipulation by playing with emotion of small investors who will exit in panic selling seeing the market conditions. Within 3 days market cap dropped by 10billion USD as per CMC chart and this shows whales are again manipulating market by making long Bitcoin and short Bitcoin land creating condition like mid Dec 2018.

There's nothing particularly discouraging in this current situation unless you really expected that someone will buy your shitcoins at x100 price. Good news is that the reality check you got can make you a better person if you draw the right conclusions.

The discouraging factor is not a big here in this field it may be the thoughts that we are discussing like how the currency going on but when you made the right decision it will definitely be positive at the end so my period is this.

Sooner or later after the ETF getting rejected, it would get approved because of those reasons SEC gives after each rejection and it would happen for sure. What we need right now sit back and relax, after all incidents that happened before, I think this isn't new and we could retrace, blockchain is doing it's job and nothing works more of a marketing than a working product.

We still believe in Crypto and still have a good future. And we must also see from Crypto's experience that this was before 2017 that the price was very low. So by reflecting on the experience that the market will definitely return to pumping as experienced in 2017.

I do think crypto will recover this year, but I don't think it all hinges on ETF. Even without ETF the markets should bounce back. Crypto still has huge potential, and prices will go back up. It's always been a rollercoaster, and at the moment we are just on the downward slope - hopefully bottoming out soon!

This might be the longest bear in the history of the crypto market but it doesn't mean I'm giving up because there is always a time for recovery. The future is still bright for the holders and traders of bitcoin because of some upcoming developments involving bitcoin in the next few years. More patience instead of discouragement will be needed while waiting  for the improvement of the crypto market.

The market will always be moving even if it is manipulated by whales. All red will become green in the future. Remember, there is no permanent except changes. Wait for the bull run to return. It will happen. We just don't know when it is but it will come so don't lose hope if your investment is all in red.

yeah i agree on your statement above that there's always a recovery of market after. But unfortunately ppl nowadays is always complaining and always become  hopeless with crypto due to this long bear season.  In my view only smart ppl and those true believer can understand despite of this situation no doubts.

i disagree. nothing is ever going to change. if you don't believe me then take a look at the past 7-8 years, maybe more. the market has been the same and the human nature has been the same for thousands of years too. every time the magnitudes change but the patterns are all the same.
we see all these pumps happening and a lot of people buy a ton of different altcoins,. then the dumps come and they all lose money while a selected few make money from pumps because they get out on top. and this trend ends with all these coins dying and being replaced by a new batch.

I think being discouraged will make us weaker and crypto thinking will be nearing its end, there is no need to be discouraged but remain steadfast in facing this condition, for the future there will definitely be a recovery.

If there's someone would get discouraged already in the situation of the market, then they were really weak-handed people that can't hodl a bag for a long time. The market seems to be stable yet slowly dropping every other week and that makes the scene of most newbies to withdraw already in the market.

At the end we are going to make profit only this will be the strategy that most of the people follow it but in the middle the confusion will made lots of people to be distracted to any other field but discouragement will always needed to gain profit but facing them will be the matter here to stay for strong period of time.

actually for now we just need to be patient and wait. we should not panic that will make us lose ourselves. I myself still strongly believe that the future of crypto will be better than now. crypto is present by offering excellent technology and in accordance with the conditions of modern times that are identical to the use of something practical, fast and cheap. and crypto has all this. so be patient. Everything will be fine in time.

It's either you take a lost by liquidating your assets or just hodl. They are just advises, it's still up to us decide, specially listening for financial advises from someone you don't know is a recipe for disaster. You need to study and learn everything by yourself.

Of course, we don't need to be discouraged and continue to see the future. Indeed, the current conditions are very different from 2017, and now all coin prices are very low. However, the Crypto experience before 2017 is also very low. And for now it's better to continue investing and I still believe that by 2019 there will be a pump.

We cannot avoid that many people or investor's is complaining regarding with the market situation because they spend money and experience big losses in this long bear market,and I agree with you that the bear market situation is only for smart and Patience people if your impatient you will discourage and leave this investment.

A lot of people maybe already bored to waiting. This is why people start to discouraged. We know when bitcoin reach it's peak, it is very hyped. And a lot of people not think first and then jump to invest. This is their mistake because follow something that already hyped.

And who told you that we are upset, on the contrary we trade and cover losses, only now, of course, trade has become a permanent analysis of the market and the movement of coin prices. But this is probably more effective than simply expecting growth.

While that is not bad advice you are assuming that those that lost money in the market by investing in icos in 2017 are still in the market willing to hear those words, many of those people have already left the market and it is impossible to reach them and the few that are willing to listen do not really have much more money left to invest because they already invested everything they could afford during the last bubble.

Well i agree with the first part that it's good to not be discouraged but also don't make unnecessary assumptions. It's going to be risky listening to someone who assures you that recovery is imminent when they don't have a way to be certain about it.

yes I agree with what you think. indeed, if we are discouraged by the current situation, it will make us weak, so we should not be discouraged by the current situation. we just need to be patient. because we believe that the market will not always decline. surely there will be an improved situation again.

We should expect the unexpected if you going to analyze the whole cryptocurrency as this investment is too volatile and nobody can predict the prices of every coins we have. If you trust those team behind then tank-up your patience and hope for the best. Panic will not help solve the bearish situation and it can cause much damage.

The ones that are discourages are the ones that do not know how the market works. You are supposed to buy now while the market is low and accumulate as much as possible. Then at the top of the market, sell your coins and wait for the next bear season. Buy now and hodl, this is the best advice for everyone

We need to be more positive despite of the market, continue to hope for the uptrend this year and don’t be discourage. The trend will change soon patience will take a great part for your future success. Just work to be better and invest with the top coins, it can generate money for you.

We have great underlying value, but still it depends on what coins you invested with and it's fine losing monetary value for that, but to mention, we have a lot of sh*tcoins which you might invested in and need to get rid of because there is no hope for that even the bull comes back or ETF would get approved. We all learn our lessons in life and sometimes it is the hard way. Now we all now that you should only buy in bulk when the market is red, and then top up when the market starts to pump. Accumulating now will be the best decision you ever made - especially after the bitcoin halving

That is not true, there are many examples of markets that went through a bull run and then never recovered after the crash that followed, a bull run happens when many factors come together like a big breakthrough in the technology or service, interest coming from all of those that have a lot of money, and hype among the average person which sees the market as a way to make fast profits, so as you can see the only guarantee after a big bull run is that the market will crash but not that it will recover.

It's always nice to see that people hasn't give up. Things will definitely change and we just have to wait in peace until this happen.

 I also think that I think patience is always the key to success. Warren Buffett became a billionaire when he ran Berkshire Hathaway for more than 20 years.
In any market, we need patience and I think this is the right time to try. Buying BTC and holding it for 3 years or more, we will have a very good result.

All Bitcoin's forks did not bring, will not bring benefit in the future and will not be able to positively affect the price of Bitcoin. But I believe that Bakkt and ETF will provoke a new wave of popularity of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, after which prices will start to rise, and the total capitalization will increase.

Unfortunately, most investors and traders are being blinded with ETF approval or extension of its process. It is not that big deal actually because what we need is massive recognition by possible millions pf investors. Patience is always the secret if you wanted your investment to grow and the time for that is soon to come. Recovery of the market is unavoidable.

right, in my opinion in Crypto there is one key that must be possessed is patience, if indeed the project we are investing in is working poorly enough we just wait for their update because it is not that easy the project is successful after ico and enters the market.

Of course it's not easy, but leaving in the middle of the road is wrong. We've been through a very big fall. Many coins decreased by 10-25 times, you still have to wait and believe. Be sure to change everything and start a new period where we will earn.
