Title: Vacation and Bitcoin Post by: PsylockReborn on January 29, 2019, 08:31:33 AM Been to Thailand and was amazed how some of the businesses adopted to crypto by accepting bitcoin payments. The very first thing that I look for are those places that accepts bitcoin payments. What I did is visit some good spots and was so excited to experience the fun and the idea of using bitcoin as payments in exchange for certain services or goods.
I can't forget the experience I had with The Pink Panther in Bangkok and was really amazed that I was able to pay all the bills with my bitcoins. Such an exciting vacation and adventure together with my friends. We had also visited Wolff’s Bar and chill for a couple of minutes consuming few drinks. What a wonderful country with good food and open minded people, embracing the idea of this new technology that we are in. If you want to travel and chill with your friends and families, don't forget to visit Thailand. You can party all night, drink and eat all you can and just pay with your bitcoin. Less hassle and a lot safer than bringing cash with you. ;D The downside is that there are some remote beautiful places that has no internet connection. I'd definitely go back to Thailand next year. I am hoping that soon we in the Philippines can be able to catch up with this development as Bitcoin and the whole of cryptocurrency can be a big good tool to promote more tourism engagement. This is just actually scratching the surface as there are so many things that cryptocurrency can be helping and enhancing our travel experience especially with places that are already accepting Bitcoin. I just found out that in Thailand we can use Bitcoin as a payment. Yeah, I think it's really cool. Because in my country, it's not allowed to use Bitcoin as a payment. Thailand is a tourist attracting country. A large amount of money comes from the tourist section. Westerners or even easterners like to visit Thailand because of low expense holiday. Asian countries are very welcoming the future of money. It was Japan that I thought Bitcoin started because of the name Nakamoto, though its unsure he really is a Japanese. There were regulations set in this region like in Singapore which we see today there are cryptocurrencies created in these countries. This is by the way how the coin currency had been used when coins were made out of precious metals. You could pay with a golden coin from England in Italy because gold had some universally acceptable value. My initial thinking was Thailand might have gone the way of weak countries who felt the best way to handle bitcoin is to go the way of banning and also filled themselves with the idea that only on dark web is where bitcoin is being used. I see this as a new opening for business for businesses in Thailand and the only thing left is government to ensure that crypto activities are done within the confines of the laws so as not to be abused by unscrupulous individuals. You can still earn Bitcoin in your own country where Bitcoin is banned and still take all those bitcoins and have a wonderful vacation in a country where it is not banned. ;D
You do not have to explain anything to your local government and you will not reward them with tax income, if they do not want to allow Bitcoin in your country. Not that Im interested on crypto payments but it's a good alternative. I still want to pay with fiat because don't want to harm my crypto with the current rates but instead of using credit card, I think crypto payments is a good alternative. I still don't experience to go outside the country, but my husband did go to Hong Kong last year and he isn't able to saw some restaurant that accepting bitcoin, or maybe he just isn't able to get into some store accepting it. Hopefully, when I will able to go there soon, bitcoin payments are already allowed so it will be easy and convenient for me to buy some stuffs. Rest is just the beginning. It seems to me that lightning network will do its job and soon we will be able to buy almost everything for bitcoins: from a flight to Mars (hi, Elon Musk) to some banal purchases and services such as products or hair cutting. In terms of vacations and Bitcoin I think this is the fastest way to transact. I believe that some other countries will soon accept just like that of Thailand most especially on tourism as it is way more convenient. It seems that these places are ready for tourist that always ask acceptance of bitcoin. It would be nice to know if there is a hotel of supermarkets that also accepts bitcoin. In Thailand people can spend their vacation with bitcoin. They can pay bills, buying goods through the cryptocurrency, that's really great vacation they spend in Thailand. Moreover there are some companies they pay their employees with bitcoin, they also spend Bitcoin on their daily activities.

It is so much ease to pay in BTC in some other country, no need to exchange currency which help you to save Currency exchange rate. Even it is so easy to carry virtual currency with you as compared to cash. Payment is just a click away. You also get rid of danger of being theft or loosing money in a different. Even Vending machine and eCommerce website also accept virtual currency easily as compared to cash. I hope other country do understand this ease and adopt BTC as a legal entity and a payment mode.

I wish that you could earn and save a lot of money through bitcoin from now on and then you can visits new countries by using it. It could be so nice to use bitcoin, because it's so easy and secure. You only need to invest more in this crypto or just find out some ways to earn it and just waiting until the price will increase a lot this year, we are just hoping for a huge increase of bitcoin's price in this year. I hope I could earn enough money to travel too , Maybe next year if I could save enough crypto for a family trip we would visit it too, But my wife also wants to visit Japan and France . The very first thing that I look for are those places that accepts bitcoin payments. What I did is visit some good spots and was so excited to experience the fun and the idea of using bitcoin as payments in exchange for certain services or goods. Similarly, I can have fun with my friends and relax with my VISA debit card.Personally, I would only use bitcoins from my wallet as a last resort.Although it is very nice to see that Thailand is so loyal to bitcoin.This is very pleasing.That's just wondering how they carry out the payment of taxes? ;)I can't forget the experience I had with The Pink Panther in Bangkok and was really amazed that I was able to pay all the bills with my bitcoins. Such an exciting vacation and adventure together with my friends. We had also visited Wolff’s Bar and chill for a couple of minutes consuming few drinks. What a wonderful country with good food and open minded people, embracing the idea of this new technology that we are in. If you want to travel and chill with your friends and families, don't forget to visit Thailand. You can party all night, drink and eat all you can and just pay with your bitcoin. Less hassle and a lot safer than bringing cash with you. ;D The downside is that there are some remote beautiful places that has no internet connection. I'd definitely go back to Thailand next year. Can't wait for that moment to come. :D |
