The year seems to be filled with uncertainties, looking at the rate at which the market is moving.
What are you expectations before the end of this year?
Will there still be some positive changes, despite the present situations of the market?

One of my expectation this year is the price of bitcoin and market will rise. I think there will be a slow movement of market where little by little it will recover. I am looking for more positive changes that's why we must not lose our hope.

For this year I obviously do not expect very big rises. Therefore, instead of btc altcoins, I'm aiming to increase the amount of btc in my hand. My goal for this year is based entirely on it.

I do not expect the market to see the market trend of 2017 this year but I do think that the market situation will be better off than last year 2018 market condition.
There will be a lot of positive development in the market this year which have already started
Only strong ico projects and coins will be able to withstand the market this year.

positive changes must exist, but they are not bull run. maybe it's just a small correction for a bigger fall. My hope is, I want the market to be stable, there is no need for a pump that clearly the market stops going down.

maybe it's not just me who hopes like this, there are many traders who are the same as me. it's hard to get profit when the market is falling, so the market is stable better.

I hope there is a bull run, but I don't think that is very possible. now the market is down, I see the price of bitcoin may fall to prices below 3k. so that means the hope of seeing the green market will not become a reality. but if there's a big pump I'm very happy because it will make the market better. many people will return to the market.

I try not to look so far, at the moment I'm waiting for February 27 (hardfork Constantinople) and the results that this date will bring us.

I have a lot of hope in 2019. one of them is I want the market to recover as soon as possible. because seeing the red market panicked me. hoping that ICO this year will have no fraud or at least fraud will decrease.

Honestly, I am not expecting something big on crypto this year. Maybe it will take a while before the market starts another bull-run. Let's hope there will be a lot of changes and development on cryptocurrency and there will be lesser scam ICOs so that investors will not lose hope on investing in good projects.

Even though it is very unlikely, I do hope this way. At least, we get something from other countries other than SEC itself. Like Switzerland did a few months ago, about the delay. It will not take have that much effect on the market, because people got tired of it. They knew the fact that it is not going to be easy to get approved by SEC.
and the fact that it has no regulation at this moment. But still, once it gets approved the market will change for sure.

I could hope at this year will have new era for bitcoin or altcoin recovery to higher price, many time at this year we always got bitcoin at lower price and never could get bitcoin will be on the top price.

Nothing is seem to be clear at this point although there are talks about big companies moving to blockchain, there are positive news but not very significant to drive the prices up, it even worsen the market if people are buying at every dips because those who wants to take profit are going to take profit thinking the price will eventually drop.

I hope that the market will get better and there will be no more downturn going forward. we have been facing the bear market for more than a year and many people are waiting for an increase in prices in the market.

I think generally we should remain positive as this phase of correction and worldwide regulations gets over there will be only one direction for the crypto market and that will be parabolic so i think its nice to just stick to this market and i will be happy if by the end of this year market shows decent recovery in price.

Nothing much to be expected at the end of this year. I don't want to give high expectation though we came from one of the biggest dip in history which has passed last year. I'll just patiently wait until everything settles by the end of the year and let all of those adoptions happen which can turn the market into a bit of bullish.

There will be, don't lose hope if you just see the market plunging from time to time. Don't look at the temporary status of the market, it won't be off soon. As long as there's a good market cap to it, market shall recover.

I believe the market is near the end of its bottoming phase and a new bull run should start that should take it back to its old highs before end of this year.

I heard in middle of year, good things will come. Don't know what is it exactly. But because of that, i still hold my tokens and a little amount of bitcoin even it is very a little. Maybe i hope it will be back like in 2017.

There might not really be anything special or different from what we have been experiencing, but just like i have always told my friends, some projects will be seen on the uptrend, based on their individual development level. Which we have started experiencing.

This year may have started weak going by the long ongoing correction from 2018 but that could end and market chnage direction back to upside.

C'mon, how can you say that when it's only been one month? It's way too early to draw any conclusions.

I guess by "positive change" you mean a spike in the price?...If so, who knows? Maybe the launch of Bakkt will attract new money from investors that can push the price of bitcoin up with the rest of the market following the uptrend...or some other event might spark a new bull trend. But I think it's better to just lower our expectations, just as we can go up at any time, we could also go further down.

Nothing good is going to happen this year. A bearish marlet will be seen. Maybe BTC will be lower to $3000 or even $2000. And if it get bullish, the maximum will be $10k for bitcoin which will be good for altcoin market too. Some projects will barely be able to survive in this year.

I do think the market will recover this year, but probably not to the heights we saw at the end of 2017. I would say key is BTC price. Once BTC stops falling and begins to recover then the alts should follow.

Of course everyone's hopes for this year will be better than the previous year because we have been in the storm for too long, maybe this year there will be a discussion forum that always gives news about scam projects so we can choose projects that really give lots of benefits and it might also be able to boost prices on market

What is certain is that this year still has good hopes for the crypto market, slowly but surely the crypto market will increase. Many positive expectations in crypto are more developed and acceptable to all levels of society.

I just hope the Bitcoin and other top coins price won't fall again, we already got a very long bear market and seems like it won't be stopping soon, hopefully there will be something to trigger the price going up and stabilize at 6k, I don't hope too much this year, the market seems not too good at the moment

Its hard to expect big in this market, but still I hope for a more good market and a good profit as well. Hard work will paid off for sure even if the market is not good, and even if the people around you is panicking. A lot of big expectations in the market this year, so I hope some of those expectations will happen.

It good to have good expectation about the market because what all investors and traders wanted is the market to come back to it glorious day but we must also put the status of the market demand into consideration because it the only thing that will lead to the manifestation of ones expectation.

Though things has been going on negatively in cryptocurrencies market for quite some time now but we must understand that the market cannot continue going down and likewise continuously going up.  The cycle must react and that is when we should expect positive changes in the price of bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies.  I am not discourage concerning the market conditions and also I am hoping that bitcoin is going to recover this year 2019. Bakkt is for bitcoin and if anything it will affect bitcoin price in a positive way not the whole cryptocurrency market. although a bitcoin bull run is usually followed by some small percentage of it pouring into altcoins and also pumping them but it still wouldn't expect a full on market wide pump of the altcoins like 2017 anytime soon.

Relax we still have 11 months to go before something happen because if you really look closely to the charts on the past few months. It is not literally taking the whole year as a bearish market but there is some time that the price was still stable. And then the market slowly dropping bit by bit every other week.

Since second quarter of 2018 i set my self to not having expectations because the bear market had been circling the whole crypto for the whole year

it looks like your hope hasn't materialized. because since the second quarter of 2018 the market is still falling, and bears are not leaving the market. maybe you should last longer, and follow the flow more patiently. there are still many people who believe if the market will get its bright lights again.

It seems to me that significant positive market changes will come to us only closer to the third or fourth quarter of this year. During the first two quarters of this year  Bitcoin will fluctuate between $ 3,000 to $ 5,000. That is my prediction for this. I hate to say that this is very true if we are looking at our current market sentiment, development, news and the community itself. Basically, people are losing their patience and hope because of this winter. This is the longest bear market in cryptocurrency history, the only hope for us to get another good movement is halving which will happen in 2020 or next year.
of course, as long as Bitcoin and other altcoin survive.

I think that if the bear market is not over yet, it will soon be over. I intend to collect as many coins as possible, while the price is low and by the end of this year or in 2020 I will cash out profits. So my expectations are that if not now, for sure in the second part of 2019 prices will grow.

I am expecting a strong bullish trend this year and bitcoin should be able to close in price around $15,000 and $20,000. I also believe that when strong recovering began those investors that have abandoned the cryptocurrencies market will come back into the market.

I am expecting the ICO's investment are to be valuable in the middle of this year because in the previous years most of our investment are not being a value and lots of people still holding their investment with fear and panic so I think it changes at the end of this year.

Nice expectation and looks very optimistic about the future. Though this is not guaranteed but when you think for the positive trend, you will be motivated to hold more. Just make a less expectation as many investors predict the market to enter bull next year. My expectation for bitcoin and cryptomarket is to keep on pumping and dumping, its a sign of life for me that can be great later on.

This year is on the times of accumulations, we can expect something good to happen for this year although people will never understand what's this period is all about. Just like the first quarter of 2017 it wasn't so quick in moving and progress was quite slow but look what happened at the middle of the year up to the end. My expectation this yeat is I will see the market increasing and rising every week. The market is still unstable and price increases sometimes only last 2 to 3 days. And after that, the price of coins dropped again, so the market was indeed difficult to predict. There were some positive signs in the market as the trend started moving up and then cannot sustain the move and the market corrected itself after a small movement. i am expecting these kind of situations throughout the first and second quarter and then later on the year we will start climbing step by step rather than mad rallies. My expectation for this year is that Bitcoin will complete its accumulation phase to be prepared for an uptrend. If there is an upward trend, it is very positive for the market in general, as the Altcoins begin to rise, slowly but surely, with their normal corrections but their upward trend, investors will drive projects that have remained stagnant due to the lack of upward movement in the market.

To be honest I really do not expect anything this year. Last year was the worst year of crypto I have ever experienced, I lost much, too much that I am ready to face anything, because I don't think it can be worse than last year. So, just bring it on. However, I still believe that this bear market will end and we will see the light of the bull run soon.

In my opinion, this is a boring time because prices are not good. As you say that this year is filled with uncertainty. My hope for this year is that the market will return to normal and many altcoins whose prices will rise again so traders can make a profit. I know this will take time and I hope that nearing the end of this year the price increase will start slowly. And I also hope that there will be many ICOs who have successfully entered the market and been able to compete, this will be more interesting.

Most of the crypto enthuciasts are mixed vision for this year for the crypto market. Some are saying this the bottom of the market while few are saying there is still remaining some correction. But, I would say this is the consolidation phase of the market and opportunity for the buying situation.

I will answer that question myself in 3 days because the summer will begin and the end of this winter with bear market will have given me good analyzes of what to do and what was done as well. So far, I have had painful, good and important experiences for my growth and if nothing extraordinary happens, I think expectations will be the smallest possible. You are right, by continuing to do trading activities in the market that can help the market to rise. not just investing and holding assets that we have. growing market purchasing power is also important.

There are lot of expectation in this year about the market recovery but we don't know how long it will take and we need to be very careful with market because sometimes the market is suddenly which we are going to loose value in the market. So people who has patience will always make some decent money in the market.

The market is full of predictions and many people predicts based on assumptions without strictly analyzing the market before broadcasting whatever it is they say in the news. I don’t think there will be any correction again based on the technical analysis I have done and having seen what other great analyst has predicted too using this tool, though it’s not too late for people to still buy now, I don’t think the market can go below what it is now, so the right time to buy is now.

Seems that the year 2019 will be a continuation of 2018 and one should not expect any special changes from it, perhaps only by the end of the year something can change for the better, but I think that only in 2020 there will be an increase in all cryptocurrencies and a revival of the market.

It's okay if you can't your profits on this year. We've got a lot of years to come to expect something better for the market. If you want to take profits, just be patient but if your main source is cryptocurrency you have to find another source of income to sustain your needs.

Well my expectation this year as regard crypto currency is to catch some dough into my pocket when bitcoin rises which I believe strongly that it will be this year.

I have also invested win some smaller coins that has viable projects and team members which I expect them to all pick up this year. The market is already showing some positive moves and I expect it to continue this way till the bull run start. I also expect to recover some of the money I lost into bitcoin before I learnt to use technical analysis.

Does technical analysis give the expected results from charts? Bull run will starts slowly from my experience but this time markets are sleeping hard. Recovery phase will fix the morality of trader, investors and bear market will come to end sooner or later.

There are so many speculations this year 2019 about bitcoin. Most of them are positive that it may reach up to $20,000 - $25,000. We just have to get a grip with this predictions. There are struggles in the market and i do think that it is very hard to reach that price but still, no one knows.

After a long bear market now most of them have stopped the expectations of ATH breaking price and now just want the current price to go up at least double. And most of them are now trading with 2 - 5% of profit margin which is very good so the market when goes down their is no more panic in crypto users. But even then i expect market should go nearby $8k to $10k which is more acceptable target.

The changes that have taken place in the Crypto market are indeed still very difficult to predict.
