So, if I understand correctly, this is not a new coin, but a takeover of the MEROcoin currency created in July 2018 ?

The one announced in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4577202.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4577202.0) ?

Can you provide links to your team profile?
The link to your whitepaper takes to Github, but there is not whitepaper there. Can you provide your whitepaper?

I invested into MERO coin, that was totally a scam.
There is drama that community tried taking over that scam project, but nothing happened yet.
Therefore, I hesitated and doubt about the one, which created with the same name, MERO, and the account reminds me bad memory.

Allegations aside, we are reviving this project as a community - as a holocratic organization, doing what we can where we can. Trading has resumed at Escodex, and trading is available at Crypto-Bridge.

This is a decentralized autonomous network, anyone is welcome to participate with the MERO blockchain. Initially this project was developed and abandoned by anonymous developers; with a bit of open source love we have been able to revive this project and take it to the next level.

UPDATE: Unfortunately due to the actions of one disgruntled person who has been helping mimimally with Mero Coin we are discontinuing the swap and finding a more peaceable way forward for those in the MERO community who have wanted to see progress and growth. 1/2

UPDATE:  There are accusation of spam or fraud from this individual which are completely untrue. Many crypto coins and community split for reasons of goverance or inacitivity. Our stepping forward is valid and we will not lower ourselves to attack those who are attacking us. 2/2

ATTENTION: We are being impersonated by @merocurrency. The community is not engaging in an ERC20 swap!

I have my backup of MERO (original project), so how I can install new Mero wallet for Windows 32? I bought Mero coin at early months, and when their team abandoned it, I forgot about my MERO coins, since today. In addition, can I use my backup (from MERO original wallet)? Thank you.

That is not true, we are a unique token with a different name:  Mero Currency

Many crypto currencies fork. Please stop the accusations. Your project is essentially dead, and its not "your" project its an open source work that we are continuing in the same original way.

We are working on an update for the wallet, in the meantime you can use v1.0.0. If you have any questions we can help. -> https://discord.me/mero

I will install new wallet and sync it with network from my back up (from original MERO). But I would like to know that the Crypto Bridge has still accepted deposits of MERO or not? I don't want to lose my MERO coins, after syncing even when the current price is so low. I almost forgot where I stored the back up, eventually I found it and hope that I can retrieve my coins and small funds.

cryptobridge shows no trades occur since Jun 28, 2019. So even if you can deposit (which seems to be open ) , whom you are going to sell your coins there? But it is always easy to move small amount and try first before moving the whole wallet

Just try to sync wallet first, but my wallet can not sync with network, despite of I already added given nodes from MERO discord channel. Are there way to sync wallet? There is still no blocksource available after adding nodes.

We have finally reach a new milestone with a new wallet update. You will also notice we have managed to get a mac build as well as 32/64 bit versions for Linux and Windows! This update fixes the fake stake exploit that has affected us for some time.
