Title: Bitcoin Rewards and Treats
Post by: aoluain on January 30, 2019, 10:32:27 PM
So following on from the Thank You Bitcoin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5100141.msg49344168#msg49344168) thread, I thought
it would be an idea to create a thread where people can post
their Bitcoin Rewards or how they have treated themselves
with the proceeds of Bitcoin.

Back in December 2017 I treated myself and my family to a
Christmas City break in Lisbon, Portugal. Ok I couldnt actually
buy the flights and accomodation with Bitcoin but it was paid
for with the proceeds of Bitcoin earnings throughout 2017.

It also helped that we were approaching the ATH so the value
of my holdings was super inflated. I really was coincidence that
I happened to make the treat at that time.

Hopefully this thread serves as proof that with some hard work
and belief in the future Bitcoin can and will offer rewards to those
who can see it.

So can anyone else tell their story of how they have treated
themselves with the proceeds of Bitcoin?

It's nice to see bitcoin has put a smile on your face and that of your family. But starting this type of thread here is wrong it would fit well in the off-topic section of the forum

I've sold about 1,5 BTC during the last 2 years and most of the fiat money were spent for food and bills. :(
I don't have enough revenue from btc in order to reward myself with some expernsive trip or something luxurious.

Since you knew that there was a Thank You Bitcoin thread already then why did you not post it there and choose to make a new thread for this? Sorry to for opposing you but I think making this thread is not necessary at all. Nonetheless, I feel happy on what you achieve with the help of btc.

Good for you dude. Actually you make me feel a little bit jelous because you have big holdings that time thus resulting to more profits. Me? I only got around .001 btc because I am just starting in crypto world by that time but I'm still happy because at least I was able to buy a new smartphone and a pair of shoe with that small amount :).

::) Lol... I think they will consider it a waste of time. No doubt, we all know that early adopters of bitcoin were so much in wealth during the ATH. Likewise , this time is another opportunity for some investment in bitcoin because price is still down.

Actually, I earn a lot of bitcoin in this forum and I think the bitcoin that I earn in this forum is around 1 bitcoin or something and I convert my bitcoin into fiat and then I buy all things that I want. I already build my gaming computer and dream shoes and many more.

I have to still do the biggest things using it, probably not really soon though. The few i have i prefer to save and accumulate.

Of course the people who have a lot more time doing it must be really comfortable now. I personally don't like pictures too much also but if the post is open i could post how it changed my life and what i did with it in the future.

No, I want ordinary everyday people to motivate others especially the doubters
by showing what Bitcoin can offer. Im not interested in Lambos, I could have
posted an image of an exotic car and pretend its mine.

I did post a reply in the other thread but this one is different, its an invitation,
see my post below.

Excellent well done to you.

Thanks to Bitcoin and crypto in general i also treated myself and my
family to a christmas holiday back in 2017. It turned out to be a perfect
time to do that.

It is important to have a reward to be able to taste the fruits of all the
hard work.

Good to see about personals who have achieved from bitcoin because most of the time like many I hear or see stories in the forum or other online sites about how many people lost due to bitcoin investment or tradings but when seeing this even we get moral and a proper understanding that it is not just up to bitcoin but depends on use whether we are going to change our lives using it wisely through investing or trading

I think we need more thread like this. Specially that others have been complaining than bitcoin is boring this days. ;D

2017 was really huge for everyone of us. A remember giving gifts and sharing my blessings that year with my family and my relatives and some friends. And then went on a weeks vacation in 2018 in June with my siblings and the rest of their family. It was like a reunion of sorts.

I bet it was a lovely Christmas holiday! Personally I haven't withdrawn any serious amount of cryptocurrencies. I don't want to miss the next big tide so I am accumulating and reinvesting everything I can. :)
Cashflow is king, guys!  :D

A lot of people who got into bitcoin befire 2017 were rewarded either through Investments, bounties or receiving payment for services.
For others like myself who got in after the bubble, and without large capital earnings has been slow from bitcoin, but there has been a couple of altcoins which has been very rewarding.

It is very nice to read this among the many topics that bitcoin is garbage and that it will soon die and other nonsense. I wonder what the people who say that will say when they read your story. I think that such examples can be found so much, but it is unclear why the negative in the direction of bitcoin still continues to be expressed.

It is a big problem that even there are so many success stories like this majority of media sources spread news and information about individuals who have lost there investments due to bitcoin investments and that is because in these days media is biased towards bitcoin
but threads like this shows them there are people who have gained and become successful because of bitcoin

Very nice, everyone deserve to be happy with their earnings since it's not easy to make money with a high risk investment.
Regardless of where it came from, everyone deserves to enjoy it, I also had my earnings during that time and I live a life with full of happiness
and it's the time that I have proven that money can make things possible.

The amount of time I sacrifice in crypto is countless so I'm thankful to receive a blessing which I have also shared with my family.

I hope everyone will inspired themselves with the success stories they will read here, because nothing is impossible in life if you work hard for it.

I agree. I think they were lucky that they have the money and the guts to get in tune with the cryptocurrency craze early on despite all its dangers and risks. Now, obviously, is very different from how it was and getting the returns everyone is clamoring for is not as easy to get now. Therefore, I think the key here is that if you really are a serious investors or you just want to make it big in this market, you have to embrace both the good with the bad. The rewards and the risks.

I made almost 800% profit on the coins that I sold in 2017, so the proceeds of that was used to kill some small jackals <small debt> and also to invest in property and rare coins <Backup plan> and I bought some kickass Xmas gifts for the family.

My strategy has always been to "use" bitcoin on a regular basis, because you want to have something to show for your efforts. <Buying physical items or paying for services and even holiday experiences>

If this experiment fails, I will have a lot of physical assets and priceless experiences to show for my time and money that I invested in this.  ;D

thanks for all the good wishes and for the other examples of
some good fortune from Bitcoin.

Paying off loans is a very satisfying action, well done Kakmakr!
My brother was able to pay off his debt of almost $15,000 just
before Christmas 2017 and is still debt free.

At these discounted prices we are seeing now people should be
setting a foundation now to benefit in the future.

this is really amazing! still hoping that I can also experienced this kind of thing too. Its not too late to achieve what we want and it will be easier with the help of bitcoin. This makes me feel inspired to be patient so I can achieve my goal in bitcoin. Bitcoin can really help us in different ways though now it still recovering you can still see some improvements.
