What kind of project that you want to sell? Marketplace[1] might be the place if you want to sell your project and get paid with BTC in return. If you can describe more about your product then maybe we can help a bit more. Are you selling tools? Tokens? Coins? Wallet? A way to increase blockchain scalability? A blog?

In addition to what @joniboini has said, you can also put it in this two boards:

[1] Auctions (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=73.0)
[2] Goods  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0) (and it's sub-boards)

So you need to be very detailed before we can help you out.

Marketplace in this forum would be the first to try selling it.  Although its never visited by anyone unless your thread will be noticed.

It depends to what you are selling a blog, a webmaster who knows how to value contents and website ranking will know its price and the audience you may want to present your website to are the people from community who also publish articles. Try the blackhatworld forum, there is a cryptocurrency section there. If its a project/wallet or anything you have developed, you can try the linked bitcoin related groups.

If it's a site, I'd probably place on Goods or Digital Goods (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0)

An auction may be iffy. It's somewhat hard to gauge interest on a site quickly; you may be able to get a better offer by giving it some time and not using an auction style. Just my $0.02

As mentioned before, it would really depend on the type of site/project it is.

Flippa is also a good place to buy and sell projects. If I am not wrong then they started a marketplace for business.
You should contact them regarding your sell-through mail, they may help you.
