Title: Which utility tokens will gain value?
Post by: HitTheLow on January 31, 2019, 02:43:23 PM
There are a lot of tokens, many of them worth 0. The question is, why and which tokens will gain value in the longterm?

I'd love to buy a lot of coins, but many beautiful project doesn't need their tokens to release their products... I see a lot of tokens that have not use cases.. why should they go up?

Yes you are right i think only projects with use cases and good teams coupled with excellent development and marketing will win as far as best utility tokens are concerned i think npxs and xyo can be profitable.in long term personally im in search of legal security tokens now than utility tokens.

Buying utility tokens which will bullish in the future is not the main deal but you yourself have to have the ability to control alot of coins because alot have people have tried what you're planning to do but they later regret their action. However, I will advice you to buy token which have a good community support and you can try out agate and LCS.

Great! At least more people will have more chances to store utility tokens for future trading. Much better if that utility tokens will arise to profitable value once the market will be up again for better value. Good community will definitely gain higher demands, when people who been part of will ultimately spread the ideas driven to a certain crypto community. Bigger potential will happen to a token price, demand will become faster which will make price pump frequently.

I won't suggest a utility token that's good for long term. I had assume one utility token and thought of it as a great one but in the end, it's value is becoming lower than lower each day. And this starts to give me regret why I did bought this token because it seemed to be good on its early days after the launch of their ICO.
In short, no one can tell on how long these utility tokens will have that good value and if you're for the long term I'll still say bitcoin.

They go up because they are pumping by the speculators. That's why most of them are including on the security list because they have no utility usage and that's the problem.  these days a lot of platforms much more focused to created a platform that doesn't even need the token.

yes... this is the point.  It's incredible how many of these coins were 50x 1 year ago... what could be the cause of this bad dump? People realized that altcoins have not any value in the longterm?

I'm looking at QTUM (100$ ath and 1.8$ now) IOTA (6+$ ath and 0.25$ now) ADA (1$ ath and 0.04$ now) XVG (0.25$ ath and 0,005$ now) MCO (27$ ath and 1.9$ now) PAY (5$ ath and 0.25$ now) ETC (45$ ath and 4$ now)

I could keep write for 1 hour listing all cryptocoins crashed from 1 year to now.

This looks like a huge speculation movement

As of now I believe qtum, iota, waves has got use case apart from ethereum which is the major contributor. In recent days BTT has taken its position. Already they've got the torrent in use case, and now BTT has been integrated and got added to the market. Getting listed for trading it has gained a good volume on its first day itself.

BTT tokens are in the development process and this seems to have good progress, I think BTT will be able to attract interested people and be able to increase the volume of market capitalization in some time.

for sure only those coin that has a previous record in my opinion.  which no doubts will gain value again in the future but probably not too much. Because market is very stagnant even now wherein in my view it's to difficult again to make a sudden huge pump even long term.

i know your feel and what do you think about token now, but the crypto market doesn't same with trader, let's see this Q&A:
1. firstly why you choice their project ? "from their white papper"
- Stupid ! White Papper just theories, you should find their product, their technologies and their future product.
2. How about their team ?
- Dead Coins do not have activity from their project or the core team (DEV) has been run away, so we should look their activity day by day.
3. Etc

For your Question, Utility should have more activity then others. I think HYDRO is best at 2018 and it will die slowly, utility token 0.7% worthly.
Please Note: For anyone if you have a Question please repply this !!

But no one knows  ::)

I really start to have thought about the tokens are going useless so don't invest on any tokens anymore or even any token or coin created hereafter, just stick with the old and developed cryptos for better future.

It's likely to be a blast.
Check it out too.

As long as people are going to "REQUIRE" those tokens for any action, they'll go up. See BNB for example. The binance exchange has been giving advantages to BNB holders since the day one, that's why the BNB is now in top ten.

Some coins can surprise us. So we can see declines while waiting for prices to increase. We're going through a difficult time. Now you need to choose more accurate projects. We need to examine the top 10 coins in the marketcap.

More surprises to come as many coins will unexpectedly pump and dump later on. We must stick on the top coins for a more possible to earn. I don’t know which coin will become big this year as the market becomes more unpredictable. Just try to look for a coins that are more active and have the real usage.

I think you've said it yourself really. If a project doesn't need to be crypto, then there's no real use case for the token. Some need crypto by their nature, say for example smart contract platforms and IoT projects. One of the first things to ask when considering any project is: does this really need a token, does this really need to be crypto? If the answer is no, leave it alone. If yes, then there is plenty more to investigate regarding the use case.

All are expecting a quick profit in crypto platform. But they do not know how to pick the promising platform so I suggest to participate in constant growth coin. Because all the cryptocurrencies are follow the same way that is demand and circulation. We must analyse the past result that will show how to improved in future result.

Yes, the task of the investor is to define the functionality of the asset as cryptocurrency. It is often difficult to determine whether a utility asset will be in demand during the exploitation of a project.

I think the only in the space now likely do sustain its value and grow th is BNB coin, The way Ethereum dominate the Smart contract platform, Binance is going to dominate the exchange space, for now it is processing 50% of the current trade in the space far ahead of CoinBase and Bitfinex, this is a coin you need to hold long term

If the token is used in a working product and there's actual interest in it, the value is clearly not 0 - the rest depends on circulating supply and current value, there's hidden gems out there for sure.
Pump and dumps make more money though.

i think only projects that achieve a real mass adoption will gain value in the future some tokens are securities right now but they are hiding behind utility for now to bypass regulations

I agree with your thoughts. No one can be sure of the existence of old coins and we don't even know that long-term retention can help us in the future so it's best to select Bitcoin only because this is the same First and most secure money in the market. Many risk-loving people tend to invest in new currencies but need to consider carefully before investing because the market does not allow us to invest long term.

Famous projects get real value for tokens, mostly. But some will start with very good promises and will end up a scam. I dont suggest to invest big in utility coins since the return of investment is very low.

I mean it really depends on the market as well as coins/tokens that have real world use cases.

I know there are a ton out there like Neo, Waves, and the likes, but I was just going to make a case for the Halo Platform. They have instantaneous and FREE send/receive transactions that are perfect for microtransactions. Halo is a clone of ETH and then restructured some, they use RAFT consensus with Variable Transaction Demand Block so blocks are created on demand, blocks can be created every 250 milliseconds (the fastest Ive seen yet). So 4 blocks every second if needed. They can handle 1250 tx per block easily and can adjust for more if they need to. If you want to watch a video of the speed of Halo with wallet to wallet transactions, withdrawal from exchange, DEX transactions, setting up a masternode, and a few games that have already been designed then check out this short video here:

They have multiple games being developed on the Halo platform, one of which is called Decimated by Fracture labs. Its a A post-apocalyptic multiplayer (MMORPG) survival game with true digital scarcity and item ownership with it's own in game economy.

Halo also has Horizon State utilizing their blockchain for blockchain voting. They just had a 50k vote in Southern Australia using the Halo Blockchain.

I'm also keeping my eye on Decent.bet. They've had a very checkered past with regulations and whatnot but I think they've really found their calling. They are going to release their E-sports platform called PlayDecent.gg where you'll be able to wager on Fortnite, PUBG, Apex Legends, DOTA 2, and Hearthstone. Their testnet is going live in 2 days at the 2019 Vechain Summit.

Yes, there are a lot of coins that don't really have a use case. You should avoid these; they will only drop in value, and any rises will be purely to do with speculation rather than the merits of the project.

I usually advise myself and others to pay more attention to projects or coins that are for utility projects and when it comes to utility, I also stream it down to these ones coming from an exchange; most especially utility tokens from Big exchanges like Binance, BNB constitute 60% of my utility toke portfolio that is for altcoins.

The first token I do advise people to invest in right now is BNB, because BNB is meant to continue appreciating in price for life because of the type of product it offers which is high in demand by many investor, if you also look at their community, you will they have very strong one.

Okay, and then can you tell me which is the role of coins from the all that i can call that as a utility? SEC has a different opinion than you. Have you looked at NEO and how it was only giving the ability to be used similar to ethereum on its platform?

I prefer to see crypto that can be used to pay for any service like HNC.  :D

Pretty young cryptocurrencies, which now cost a penny or have not yet hit any of the exchanges, can become market leaders in the future. Once Bitcoin was offered for a few cents, and now its capitalization reaches billions of dollars. The Polymath platform can fit into the existing securities industry. I think that we can invest in Poly now. Ravencoin is worth our attention also
