Alt coins follow the path of silver. Not really going anywhere. Manipulated and crash to it's bottom. My guess is alt is the next boom. Nobody expects but if apple or a big Enterprise wants ur coins to distribute. Like a share buyback. They be buying in billions.

majority of alt coins are created out of thin air, backed by nothing, and has no value because whatever they are supposed to be utilized in has no reason to be on blockchain/is done by better coins already!
it's not the same as silver, silver has real value (demand and scarcity?)

People think alt coins will die but developers doesn't. Alt coins will have better tech than Bitcoin. Wait till alt coins gets to better exchanges. Silver is scarce but still manipulated. Alt coins aren't scarce but their technology is. Privacy coins are meant to be private. Once step better than currency exist.

How many altcoins do you expect will die in the coming year? The death of altcoins is the death of crypto, hope you know that.

Despite the nature of most of the altcoins that are being lunched in the crypto space, there are still very good ones, that have working products.
My concern is just that there are more shit altcoins than the genuine ones.
I see the genuine to have good products that would give value to them, than to just have a pump and dump coin, which is what some people are after.

Not sure about that and how can you determine it? altcoin only follow bitcoin and no more. Is there something make sense to be considered as the main factor how altcoin an follow the silver while bitcoin is not even following it or gold at this moment?

the only path that altcoins (at least majority of them) are going to follow is the path that poop takes after it exits your bottom... they are simply worthless and something that has no value will continue to decline until it is dead and eventually they go to graveyard which already contains thousands of them in it.

I don’t agree with this, basically alternate coins survival is dependent on bitcoins and etherum a growth both in size and value

altcoin will die if developers only want a momentary profit, in my opinion if the developers think that the progress of the project they are launching, they will certainly continue to run and market their projects carefully, because of course they are launching innovative products and interested in their lovers, but this is all need to work hard, then the altcoin will be silver which is worth expensive.

i don't think so.
the cryptocurrencies are still new and the technology has a lot of room to grow. but so far we have mostly seen terrible altcoins which have no other destination than death. and it has been like this for a long time too. a lot of altcoins are being created and they all die sooner or later to be replaced by new ones.
eventually though, we will see better coins  in about 5 to 10 years and then you can talk about which direction they are going to take.

Big investors and foundations are collecting the big amount of Bitcoin and top Altcoins such as Ethereum. This is really a reasonable time for them to buy and join in market

Most of the altcoins have a big fish control market, and small households can only choose to wait patiently for opportunities.

Most of the big buyers of altcoins were waiting for btc in the deep of 1000$, and you might get so many results of percentages.

I agree with your opinion, I guess one day there will definitely be a coin boom that will make us rich.

This an unstoppable process of creating new alts, exchange->pump->dump->pump->forgotten->again pump-> forgotten forever;) Look at the archive of CMC for two-free years almost all new coins in the top every year.  

if I may add the current ALTS "ecosystems" : Create -> Exchanges -> Pump/Dump -> Leave -> Create (Again) New Project

Altcoin still trying to rise again because bitcoin now is down for a moment. It is a great time for altcoin to increase higher because they can make a lot of profit in bitcoin and hold the bitcoin to sell at a higher price. I hope that altcoin can arise in the next days or week because bitcoin is not increasing for a long time. And then after altcoin can reach the highest price, that will be a time for bitcoin to back to the higher price and we can make a party for that.

The protracted BTC recession exacerbates the situation. Many altcoins do not even pass the pump stage. These assets will die without listing or will be listing -> immediately dump.

maybe there is some project that not last long for more years, i guess it still depends on the altcoins itself. Altcoins seems to be good for long term depends on their uses i guess.

There are a handful of great projects coming out that I would reccomend checking out to peak your interest. I think the biggest thing they will bring is a solid unit of account rather than a get rich quick scheme. Have you heard of ampleforth before? they have this idea of creating an elastic supply policy that fluctuates in accordance with demand, rather than changing the actual price. maybe somethign that unique is what could change your mind about altcoins.

Blockchchain technology has attracted many start ups and foundations to it and the market capitalization fixed them to transform into it.
Due to bad market conditions in 2018, many projects could not even gather the funds which are required for product development. So most of them are not fully developed and due to lack of funds and undeveloped products, it getting difficult for them to list on big exchanges.
This in results very less demand for their tokens which is causing even further depreciation.
I see more than 50% altcoins will not survive if the same downtrend of market is getting continued for year 2019.

You're right! One of the few that I'm currently looking at is ACED coin. TBH, I was suspicious at first, but after seeing the dead market for a year, the team (with a legal contract) still develop games and streaming for it which impresses me. With a lower market cap coin, I think I'm holding a bag to see if it'll explode. The price at it is right now, I don't think it can get any lower tbh.

If the projects have a quality popular product. That coins will not die. As they will be in demand. Well, there is always the risk of a complete fall. I certainly hope for the best.
