Post by: bikan33 on February 06, 2019, 08:08:51 AM
Hi,

I've been mining for almost two years, and now I am going to sell my graphic card. That money I want to invest in some cryptocurrency that have pasive income (POS, DPOS, masternode or something similar).
For now I'm looking to invest in vechain.
What are your opinions and suggestions?

Best regards

Any coin / token with a staking model. Or look into lending protocols

See https://masternodes.online/

It's a list of masternodes but not everything there are trusted. The big ones like Dash and Pivx are my choice but the amount of invested needed is quite high. You can also look to Zcoin.

PoS coins nowadays are no good because everything is falling down hard. you usually want to get involved during the pumps specially pumps that are market wide and are big and long. such as the pumps in 2017 so that you can make actual profit and not lose money due to long term decline of the coins you bought.

I should warn you. Before you dive into the world of masternode projects with ROI>300% the first thing you must strongly do is to check out the graveyard of masternodes. Sort the list by ROI and check every single project with ROI>300% AND long history AND the price of node < 10$. There is no sence in masternode project if it doesn't make profit even to pay for VPS. And don't take ROI too close to your heart - it calculates exclusively in tokens and their prices tend to drop almost to zero in BTC/USD. It's a worst version of casino where you will always lose.

Have you created a comparison between all of them? You should consider about how much ROI that will you get. For me Vechain will give a penny for everyweek. I will choose masternode rather than POS staking method.

As you know market is down and mining is now expensive and not profitable so if you wants to invest in passive income than you can invest in various projects that are giving passive income .NEO is the best for investment if you will buy and hold in NEO wallet you will git GAS token for hold and also NEO rate will goes up.

Yes I would have also suggested POS coins as they generate
a passive income provided the value remains in the actual
coin itself. You have to question the viability of the projects
and technology, the same as you would with any ICO I suppose.

I came across this site today by pure chance > http://btcbeggar.org/
this is definitely passive income.

NEO can't move anymore, I am currently not interested in NEO, I recommend Ripple (XRP) as an investment that can make you happy in the future. because to my knowledge Ripple (XRP) is not entirely a crypto currency.

I heard the collateral tokens will have to be huge, there is the need to invest huge amount of money in masternodes to earn enough to pay monthly VPS and NET. I haven't tried it yet but I have been planing to but that amount of money to pour on it in this bear market is unbearable.

You will just regret is you go into XRP, its not the best coin to invest besides its not giving you a passive income.

You should rather go to an investment place in your area than in the internet since there are only HYIPs and much ponzis scams in this place.

Do not judge  of each coins NEO and ripple have a different characteristics, both has have capability to increase their price in the near future.

I include to recommend aside from the two coins NEO and Ripple put this one in your before to decide what is the best coins for you as your investment ADA.

In terms of investment, it is a matter of knowledge and updates that matter, you might try to choose and filter out the best investment like ICO, then proceed to it without fear of being losing.

I have wanted to have that kind of income too, and I have tried PoS with a coin, and it has served me quite well in fact. I know that the more you HODL, the higher your reward so I'm still just staking.

You could also try automated trading software like Gunbot. It is not a cloud service and will never ask to deposit to someone, only your account on your specific exchange. Bitmex Exchange has already been implemented so whether uptrend or downtrend, you could profit.

I think staking is by far the clearest choice, specially if ethereum staking starts. Look at all the masternode and stake coins, none of them made a "passive income" in dollar sense because all coins lost value in the past year and if you want to make passive income in dollar value then you should find a dollar investment method instead but if you are looking for crypto passive income even while all coins value was dropping people who stake made more coins while the market was down and they will have profits sooner than the people who do not stake.

There is also freebitco.in which offers I think %4 for your investments and basically a yearly interest rate and since its with bitcoin it could be considered like bitcoin staking and it is honestly better than just keeping it on regular wallet with no interest.

There is no easy money left in crypto market now. You can't just invest and have some passive income neither with PoS, nor masternodes. They don't work. The only thing you can do now is to study trading or something else to earn money with your own skills.

POS coins and masternode coins is the best choice for passive income in crypto industry
but, if you want the most easy way to get some passive income in this industry, i think you should try to learn more about exchange coins / tokens my friend
for example BNB or KCS  ;)

Although market is not progressing in positive direction but you can invest in good project which are pos or have dividend functionality.i would say there are many good news coming this year so we can see rise in crypto so you can hold any popular coin with solid background to gain profit even if you don't choose for staking.

It seems to me that now is not the best time to invest in masternods or something similar. This is due to the bad situation in the cryptocurrency market. Now it is most profitable to invest in crypto-trading.
In a situation of a sharp fall in the price of coins, only trading on the stock exchanges brings me profit.

First of all don't fall to ponzi schemes. Some projects offer monthly payment for locking your own funds on their digital bank. I personally like their strategy for protecting price flexibility with increasing purchase power. Investing to masternodes can be profitable if you hold your earnings for bull market.

I think that you can just invest in cryptocurrencies in the long term and you will have a passive income. You can trust your money to some well-known companies, which for example trade at the expense of someone else's funds and give interest profits.

If you are interested in passive income you can invest in blockchain based realestate and investment funds or you can invest in some good security tokens that will pay you dividends regularly.

My friend and I once bought a masternode of a promising project. However, it did not exist for a long time, its developers were scammers.
Since then, I no longer participate in such projects and advise others to do the same.

ETH is too low and just wait for it until it goes on PoS so accumulating now is recommended up to 32 ETH if you can. But if you can't it's also okay, if you want passive income by those coins that has been owned by a legit company that gives dividends to their holders.

I know that today there are many cryptocurrencies that bring a daily or monthly percentage of your contribution, it somehow looks like a pyramid, but the cryptocurrency is much more reliable, today it is unprofitable, because the cryptocurrency continues to fall, perhaps in a few years we will get a good profit.

Also, there are growing list of masternode coins and a lot in the top are just created for the hype. Better invest in a mn coin with relatively long existence in crypto and with solid foundation. Most of the new ones have very short lifespan. Or try to look around here. Passive income sometimes is really not true at all.

exchanges based projects could be good future if they have feature devidens to their tokens/coins holder.i see several this kind of exchanges that already launched their projects.such as eosex, caltex and many other.maybe if we invest some of our money into this projects we will get passive income when they fully launched their platform.

I cannot tell what is the most passive income right now, I advise to invest it on other kind of market than the crypto market. Or even save it or deposit it on the bank. For me, a time deposit gives you higher returns than a regular savings account with significantly less risk than an investment. That is the most better option than losing your asset. What do you think?

Come back if the crypto market is on the good shape again with good regulation security and measurement.

There are a lot of coins that could give passive income, but if you take a look mostly, the coins are not worth to invest. I know that Dash, Pivx, BitBean, RDD, Pink, EOS, NAV, will be a good idea to invest. But it will need a lot of money to try the POS system. You have a chance for trying to invest in BitBean, RDD, Pivx, EOS but you should have some amount before you can earn some amount from the staking mode.

VeChain isn't a good move. In my opinion, staking reward with a good project is the best. Masternode can also be a good choice since I am hearing a lot of shout to masternode for some last months. I think masternide coins will be a smart choice.

for now try not to expect passive income from crypto, judging from the obvious market conditions it will be difficult to stabilize like this, it will actually be dangerous, not important what the product is, when it goes to trading, all of it will return with supply & demand.

You can try to mine BURST.

You need is a pc with a usb3 port and high capacity HDD's

You are still gling to have to invest in hardware but unlike GPU mining, you have little to none electricity costs here which looks a lot like passive income.

It is better than buying masternodes because if you change your mind, you'll still have HDD's which you can either sell or ise for other purposes. You'll never what your master node's worth become tomorrow.

It is indeed feasible to be maintained and I think it will continue to improve.

I would like to invest in masternodes too, but it`s not cheap. Second thing is investing in some services and getting dividends quarterly. I have investments
in BitDice casino and every 3 months I get some little amount of Ethereum.
Investing in PoS coins is great and I`m working on that for some time. I can say that NEO holders get Gas just for holding NEO, maybe that`s good passive income
too.

Masternode or POS coins are good to earn passive income. But you have to research before investing as there are a couple of Masternode/POS coins that have no volume. Personally, I will go for Dash for masternode coin and Neo for POS coin.

If you are looking for an altcoin with passive income, invest to an altcoin that offers passive airdrop when holding them like NEO, BTX and TRX is now offering a scheduled airdrop of BTT. Choose an altcoin with stronger reputation but I must warn you of possible hacking since you are only holding those on a hot wallet. Invest at your own risk, these are only mu suggested altcoins.

You can try lending crypto to earn some interests. There are some exchanges that allow you to lend BTC, ETH or etc in their platform to fund the margin trading transaction. I remember Poloniex has such feature previously.

I heard that in the near future Ethereum will switch to the POS mining technology. Perhaps it is worth knowing how to get it and how many coins it will need for this. I plan to pool with friends.
