What happened::

As the title suggests, the LaneAxis team has run several bounty campaigns, didn't pay anyone and then deleted the Telegram Group!

The LaneAxis team has organized several bounty campaigns, including the following that I joined in June 2018:

The only spreadsheet in which I am listed was sent to me immediately after I was selected as translator. (and includes only my name and Stakes)

No matter what address I look at, nobody has received any AXIS Token

Ok, so what exactly happened:

1) A few days before the payout should have taken place, I asked if it would not be possible to publish the final spreadsheet.
As a response I was told that the smart contract creation and distribution is not done internally, instead it is handled by a third party.

As far as I can remember, they said icobox was responsible.

A few days later the following announcement was made:
"Thank you for participating. All the tokens have been distributed."

2) Since no one received anything, people started complaining.

As an answer we received: "Please send us an e-mail to marketing@laneaxis.com  to resolve the issues"
That was Friday evening.

No sooner said than done.
So we, the Bounty participants, have sent a mail to the given address.

3) Here comes the fun part

After three days had passed, it was Monday, the team has suddenly spread the following message.

So the team forwards the responsibility to a third party, unknown to us.
We're supposed to contact a guy named Cryptoguruu.

In addition, the telegram group is to be closed after 2 days.

Of course I sent a mail to the given address and guess what came back after one day from my mail provider:


4) People startet complaining that the given mail address doesn't even exist

There was no response to any of the messages.

A few hours later the group was deleted, two days earlier than previously announced.

Tagged both the LaneAxis account as well as the campaign manager, although the fraud was done this is the best thing I can do to get their attention. Lets hope that they will respond to you and hopefully all participants will be paid. I also notice in their website (https://www.laneaxis.io/) that most of their team member's picture have been removed, you will see that only 5 of them have pictures in their profiles. I have archived (http://archive.is/Fp2DZ) their ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4802310.0) as it contains the pictures of all of their members.

It was too late to discover that they are a scam project, feel sorry for bounty hunters happen to me so many times before in the past, ICO campaign last two to three months and it's kinda hard to accept if you did not receive anything.

Looks like I should get used to doing a whitepaper plagiarism check BEFORE I start translating.  ;D

Still hoping that they would respond regarding with the matter however LaneAxis' account has been offline for a long time now and the campaign manager was last active five days ago so it might take a while for someone to respond with the case, the worst case scenario is both of them running away with all your stolen effort as well as their investors money which seems to be the case right now, I'm sorry man you are not the only victim here and unless we caught one of those people involve we won't see any progress happening.

Well at least LaneAxis didn't get to steal a lot of funds from ICO investors. These scammers are getting reckless and seems to not care anymore due to lack of victims  ;D.

Don't think there's gonna be any reaction. That's probably why they were in such a hurry to delete the telegram group.
Seriously, which team deletes the group only a few days after the end of the ICO.  ::)

Thought I was the only one complaining here.
Looks like most bounty participants have already accepted the fact that at the end of a campaign they are leaving empty-handed.  :D

Seems like bountyhunters are more the victims these days then ICO investors. Everyone's time is precious! Glad I skipped this one  :-\

Well, apparently they managed to raise the $2 million soft cap.

Thank you for raising this topic. I am also a member of this bounty on the Bitcoingarden forum. And I, like everyone else, did not receive my earned tokens. Their CEO in the telegram channel wrote that all the tokens were sent to the managers of the bounty companies. After I asked him to show me the transaction where he sent tokens to Cryptoguruu, they blocked me))) From which it can be concluded that this is a lie and no one sent anything to anyone.

No idea who this cryptoguruu should be at all. Nobody ever talked about this guy during the campaign.  ;D

I think that following that poorly running Token Sale they simply didn't want to pay any bounty participants.

With a quick google search, I found out that this "cryptoguruu" guy has a Twitter account (https://twitter.com/cryptoguruuteam?lang=en). and something that looks like a  job posting on a marketplace?  (https://www.f6s.com/cryptoguruu). From a quick read of that post (their main website was done for some reason https://cryptoguruu.com/), it seems like they offer a portal of some sort for ICO owners. Looks like someone called Pratik Bhuyan is their only employee, and here is his linkedin profile- https://www.linkedin.com/in/pratik-bhuyan-0bb42079/.

There has been new news coming from them. Now they are not closing there telegram group also paying but the rewards has been decreased like hell if you mail them they will give rewards like nibbles.

This is the same group, only we were blocked in it. From another account I can go to their group. I wrote them an e-mail asking me to pay tokens. Let's see what happens. They reduced the total bounty pool for the compaign on the Bitcoingarden forum 11 times.

There telegram chat is still up it seems... I emailed marketing@laneaxis.com like they were saying to do in the telegram chat and they have been in contact with me and helpful. They are organizing the MEW addresses now for the next distribution.

I think they got scammed from crypto guruu

If I am not mistaken this project was released when the bearish market started. Probably they wouldn't manage to raise many funds because of the bearish market.
What makes me furious is that many bounty sites give exposure to such scam projects and more people lose their money (and time if you consider of bounty hunters) for nothing.

Everybody join this Telegram group , we need all the affected people to join, we have to figth for our tokens, if they are not a full scam project and only want to scam the bounty participants, they will have to pay or we will spread the world LANEAXIS IS SCAM on youtube, twitter, facebook, bitcointalk, bitcoingarden, reddit, medium, steeamit, we will contact every exchange and make sure they get  listed NEVER if they do not pay us.

You will find a lot of evidence of the scam in the Telegram group, indeed they have only distributed 3 million tokens, I have investigated the AXIS transactions,  the 22 TOP accounts holding AXIS tokens have 1497 million tokens in total (from a 1500 millions the total supply)

Their "calculations" are WEIRD, they say 45 millions for the bounty allocation (3% of the 1500 millions supply) spreaded between 3 bounties (15 millions each), then, they take those 15 millions and AGAIN apply a 3% , to only distribute 450,000 tokens , that means 3% of 1% of the total supply (0.03% tokens only). This is a JOKEEEEE!!!

The 22 top accounts hold 1497 millions tokens, meaning they only have distributed 3 million as max for bonty and airdrop, Where are the left 42 millions tokens?

They talk about a wrong info displayed on Bitcoingarden, but they clearly say that the bounty allocation is 45 millions betweet the 3 bounties (15 millions each)

Bro join the Telegram group, we will make them pay us or we will LITERALLY destroy any chances of success of their project, we are a lot of affected people and we can screw their image and break their project if they try to scam us, they have to decide if they want to keep our tokes or their chances to succeed. Check my last post, and join the group, I have a lot of evidence showing they have only distributed 3 millions of tokens.

Their Telegram Group is ACTIVE, it is not closed!
BUT THEY WILL BLOCK YOU IF YOU ASK TO MUCH ABOUT THEIR SCAM!

LaneAxis never scammed anyone. We sent out all tokens to bounty and token holders years ago. Stop spreading rumors and FUD that LaneAXIS is a scam. Below is the etherscan you can see all the tokens were dispersed back in 2027.
