Title: Davinci.vision (DAC) SCAM beware
Post by: davincimaybescam on February 07, 2019, 10:20:51 PM
Davinci.vision (DAC) blocks the wallets of large investors

Be careful this project has the function of blocking DAC tokens!

https://etherscan.io/address/0xaad54c9f27b876d2538455dda69207279ff673a5

We can easily check if the wallet is on the blocked list or not

Blicking this link

https://etherscan.io/token/0xaad54c9f27b876d2538455dda69207279ff673a5?a=0x5be8bed54450c7c27545d6953e819dd1721af70a#readContract

find section:
5. blackList

fill in the "address" field your eth address containing "Dac" tokens

press the button "Query"

Received such a response if the wallet is locked:

[ blackList method Response ]
    int8 :  1

and if there are no restrictions on your wallet:

[ blackList method Response ]
    int8 :  0

I discovered this after I could not transfer my tokens to my other wallet.

It became even more interesting.

First of all, I wrote to the technical support at the address indicated on the official project website.

the email address is on this link, at the bottom of the page. https://www.davinci.vision/project.html

in this screenshot we can see the email address

If you look at the status bar of the browser in the screenshot, we will see the company's email address.

"officail@davinci.vision"

I don't know if they did it on purpose or not.

after that, I began to look for other options of communication with the administration, of course, while duplicating my letters to the following email addresses.

"official@davinci.vision" :D

"info@davinci.vision"

"cto@davinci.vision"

After I wrote the chat official in telegram, everything became clear, the project with 90% scam probability!!

February 3, I wrote directly to the administrator telegram in the chat and the following message.

February 7, the administrator answered me in the chat

with the message that I checked English chat

in the English telegram chat he wrote me a message

"It's for fee, every ether wallet needs some ether to send"

such an answer struck me  ;D ;D ;D

after that I asked a few messages, the administrator kicked me of the chat

very strange admin behavior beware!!!!!!!

Scam will die  8)

It's obviously not a good idea to buy something that can be blocked by founders. That's why I prefer to avoid even large projects with the possibility of spend blocking. Ripple, EOS and others. It's pretty safe to have this kind of feature to prevent hacks or fraud, but sooner or later this feature can stand against legit users by mistake or someone's evil intent.

It's the same as bancor because this one has been putting a backdoor to the dev itself can block any holders or account that hold its token. If the developer doesn't even give any explanation regarding this problem and i can call that as a scam one.
