I googled it and found he/she own 1 million bitcoin. But I was unable to find out the addresses where his/her BTC is stored. Do you know all the addresses? Is there a full list of his/her addresses? Probably I have googled with wrong keywords.

I don't think that you will be able to find this information.

I believe that he has separated the funds in many wallets for the reason that they cannot be untraceable. And he is the greatest person to do so as he know how to exploit the network at the maximum.

No one can know the real number of total bitcoins especially since we do not know much information about Satoshi.
You can only check the number of frozen BTC "signed through Satoshi's personal account in this forum" otherwise it is a guess.

of course he own millions of bitcoin and that amount he can dump bitcoin price. I don't know about his wallet address, but I heard that he had many address.

as you can't be sure of getting all the addresses of Satoshi, you can't calculate for exact or make any assumption, and I strongly demotivate people to seek for any info about Satoshi - that's a wild goose chase.

It is not that important to know how much bitcoin Satoshi really owns. To me, the innovation made by him is the best. He has made for the people, else he could have invented it as a centralized platform. Another thing quite often new Satoshi's emerge in the cryptocurrency network. In recent days Bitcoin Cash founder has termed himself as Satoshi.

This is an estimate, but it is very unlikely that he owns more than that, as this would be a very large percentage of the total supply, and as his address is not known, we can't tell whether or not he has sold some of his bitcoin. Although I think the proponent of bitcoin, would hodl so s/he can purchase directly with bitcoin without converting to fiat.

I doubt he Will ever use those coins. He probably already destroyed those private keys and they are now lost.

He probably has a personal stash of his own, that he mined without any correlation to his "Satoshi" identity

No one has the exact figures, but some estimates show that it's somewhere between 100k-1M, which is pretty debatable considering that Hal Finney, alongside any other 'unknown' people were also mining during the early days of bitcoin. Should those figures be exact or somewhat close to the original figure, I guess it will be fascinating and scary to see them move, even just once.


Safe estimates, not just some aggregates out of what moved and what stayed on the 'known' addresses of Satoshi.

I don't know how many bitcoins Sathoshi has but I assume and it would be logical that is in possession of great number of coins.

Currently, it contains about 67 BTC and growing as people still sends bitcoin to this address. Initially it has 50 BTC.

Google will never always find you the answer dude, nobody knows on how many Bitcoins Satoshi owns, there are speculations and guesses on the amount he has but you'll never find the answer on the web, things like this should be kept private, And always remember that Google is just a search engine, its no use if you'll google the amount of BTC Satoshi owns.

There have been many speculations about how many bitcoins did Satoshi owned or what was his bitcoin address. Till this day i don't think that is anyone that can answer those questions other than Satoshi himself, so we can speculate as much as we want because we'll never know the answer.

Probably alot, he IS the creator of course, no way did he leave empty handed. I Would say around the thousands knowing how much BTC is worth now.

You guys focus too much on money. What's the point of selling anything when you see how your coins that had no value back in the days, became worth a few million, then hundreds of millions, and now billions, and soon he (assuming it's one entity) might become the world's richest and most powerful being in existence would Bitcoin become the world reserve currency.

On top of that, Satoshi owns all the shitforks too, so you can imagine how much economical mass he currently has. People worry about things they have no clue about. Focus on how to accumulate more Bitcoin, that's a way better allocation of your time.

That is damn big funds equals with dollars. I hope he may alone knows to hack the dead wallet bitcoins so far. If that really can then he is the biggest bitcoin billionaire. However you google and find the richest bitcoin addresses so far in the market.

I think a lot of btc remain on his address/wallet. But I also think no body knows the exact amount of btc without him/her self or his/her family because nobody did not identify the real Satoshi Nakamoto yet. So its still in incognito from us. Thanks

I see it in this forum that Mr. Satoshi have 1 million bitcoin which he can really manipulate the market if he will sell his bitcoin. As far as I know no one knows what is the wallet address of Mr. Satoshi and until now he is still anonymous where no one can defined who is he. Even you use google it will not appeared.

He can just make a spin off and call himself Satoshi and nothing else, if someone has to prove something he must provide valid signature from the genesis block and nothing else, as long as no one is coming forward and move the initial coins, it is hard to tell how much coins did Satoshi had over all, the one million is the known amount but i am sure he will be having more than that, to be frank that becomes a monopoly since he single handily holds a huge amount which is not fair for the evolution.

A bit more than a million, Craig Wright did his homework before claiming an exact amount - research shows it's slightly more than 1M just like faketoshi is claiming.

But who knows. Because a Bitcoin wallet is private, it will be difficult to know whether it really belongs to him. Plus Satoshi's identity is still unknown, who he really is. But as a founder of Bitcoin, I'm sure he has more than enough Bitcoin.

I don't know if you are aware of a genesis block, but I believed that the general consensus is that it belongs to Satoshi, the only question is that if he still has the private key in it.

I think it is only rumors and no one really knows the exact amount of Bitcoin that Satoshi Nakamoto has, that one million prices of Bitcoin is only a rumor and there is no solid proof about that. I guess most of the people think that he owns a lot of Bitcoin it could be true or not and he is the only one who knows about that information.

There is a possibility about that but destroying the private keys of those wallets does not make any sense or it can make sense if it is lost forever.

it is not rumor, it is an estimation which is more like a guess. there is a difference between the two. a rumor is usually bullshit and doesn't have any facts behind it but an estimation is based on at least some facts.

of course there is no solid proof since bitcoin provides a good level of privacy although it is not anonymous but the estimation is based on some facts such as the time he was mining solo and the interactions he had and some other things that you can read in those links.

We knew he was someone who created bitcoin but it does'n means he had a lot of bitcoin. The way to get bitcoin is same for everyone only through mining and this is same for satoshi he has mining first to get bitcoin IMO. When he has a lot of bitcoin then he can manipulate the price of bitcoin itself, I think when the price really decreases like now then he will buy millions of bitcoin again to make the price of bitcoin rise again, but it doesn't happen.

I think Satoshi Nakamoto has a lot of bitcoins in some of his wallets because I am sure when I first made Bitcoin Nakoshi Nakamoto try to do a bitcoin transaction from some of his wallet and of course the value when Bitcoin was created is not as expensive and maybe for transactions bitcoin value can reach above 100 bitcoin every wallet that is used for testing.

In my opinion , Satoshi is a multi millionaire in his/her/they’re own right and doesn’t need to cash in. They/he/she is enjoying watching the bitcoin baby grow and grow .

Well, if we will be talking about Addresses, the closest possible address Satoshi use was the address others call the "Genesis Address", wherein it is the first ever Bitcoin address and it is said to be the home of the first Bitcoins being mined. From that, we can actually say that it is one of Satoshi's wallet since as far as I know, he is the first one to mine Bitcoin.

I don't know why people are so obsessed with Satoshi Nakamoto, who is he really and how much Bitcoin he owes. I can understand the curiosity but I think this is quite irrelevant for bitcoiners. It's totally impossible to find out. Obviously he used hundreds or thousands wallet addresses. Of course he don't want to reveal that information. Because if he wanted so, he could do it long ago & become the richest man in the world. By the way thanks for raising an interesting topics.

For sure someone did his own research about Satoshi but so far there is no real details about it, so technically we can't say how much he owns but for sure he owns a lot and maybe he can create bitcoin easily. I would be happy if Satoshi will reveal his identity in the future, since his getting older now and maybe if he's out in the public, it can help the market to pump. :D

Never heard any story about how he would do it tho.... never... and many times was reading about this that he "hid" his coins. Hid where... there are not much addresses with transactions/mining rewards in 2009.

I doubt Satoshi Nakamoto the person who build the best sophisticated Bitcoin network will store his wealth in a place where any one can search through Google but definitely he might have millions of Bitcoins in his several number of private wallets  so no would easily track down and identify the real wealth and there owner behind them so such information in the Internet that shows as his wealth can be negligible as false information

I don't know how much BTC Satoshi Nakamoto has, but I feel confident that he's most likely to have that much BTC, even more than the OP mentioned. Because as a creator and developer of BTC, he certainly has the right gap to benefit from the technology he created, besides that it's also possible the BTC he owns is not in his interest, but for the interests of bitcoin itself, for example network repair costs or other costs.

He’s the creator so we can expect more bitcoin for Satoshi. We can just speculate those numbers and we can’t give the exact amount just like we can’t know if Satoshi is still active or not. We invest and trade by faith, and its a good thing to stay alive.

No one can answer that question. But one thing is for sure, he/she have a lot of bitcoins. Satoshi will never tell his identity because of his safety and security. We should not believe to the people in the internet that telling us that they are satoshi, we should remember that satoshi will be never tell his identity and he/she will stay anonymous.

As a creator of bitcoin you can't really remove on peoples mind on how much he do owns. There are rumors that he do hold 1 million bitcoin but nothing has been proving it. And do still remains as a speculation. I do agree about FBI thing which they do really hold massive amount of Bitcoin.

Considering that Satoshi's identity has long been very mysterious, we can't control people who become curious of his earnings and that's where various speculations are circulating around. It could be very hard to tell how many BTC does he own, but the fact is that he owns a huge amount and that I don't think is necessary for us to know about it. Hiding his/her identity is for his/her safety and that we should respect and value. that's old news from 2013, right after the silk road bust. that number was 144,000 not 1.44 million. all those bitcoins were already auctioned off years ago (https://www.coindesk.com/us-marshals-final-silk-road-bitcoin-auction). that's why when you see them auctioning off coins these days, it's only for a few hundred or a few thousand at a time. they don't own that many coins anymore. (at least not publicly)

the satoshi question is relevant because iirc a lot of the early coins are held on public keys. if quantum computing breaks the elliptic signature algorithm, those coins can be stolen and dumped on the market!

In my own opinion satoshi nakamoto if that amount he own I think as inventor and they the risk of their bitcoin putting in one wallet address. For nobody can know and can seen how much bitcoin they have same their pernal anonymously as real satoshi to serured their life.

Coin ownership data is confidential data that cannot be published. so it seems difficult to track its whereabouts. about satoshi will always be a mystery that will never be solved, because we never know whether satoshi is the name of a person or the name of an institution or the name of a state secret agent, until now we never know and we cannot detect where he lives.

It is not possible to know or identify a wallets keys which you do not have the private key. He /She may have the quantity you see but to know the wallets that is holding the bitcoins may not be possible. Try as you may it will not work out for you.

I don't think we need to be worry about how many bitcoin he own as the real info can't be get no matter what, people are not sure of the figure which they claim is 1million I only see that as speculation , so I advice to story looking for what is not lost as getting what he own will do you no advantage but we should be greatful to him for creating this awesome opportunity for us all to be free from capitalism.

Nevertheless, incase the situation where Satoshi wallet might be break was the reason why Theymos suggest that the coin should be destroy.

All estimates project that he owns roughly one million bitcoin which was worth over $20billion usd at the peak.  Also don't forget that he owns an identical amount of Bitcoin cash as well.  Some people say he is dead while some think that he may return someday and use his bitcoin for good causes.

your information is not 100% accurate, because we all here know that bitcoin is live on the shadow and i thin nobody know about him, the bitcoin address, and the amount of bitcoin that he has. i think until the end of bitcoin live, nobody will known about him

Though this mut occur if someone know who is the real Satoshi, this is proven before before anyone will claim.

Of course it's just a speculation and probably one without any basis. How would anyone know how many btcs satoshi has when we don't even know if he's real. But one thing's for certain though, whoever started all this definitely has enough btcs to last him and a couple of  generations a comfortable life.

If that was Satoshi's main goal, some of the coins would have been sold or spent already, and that's not the case. On top of that, try to spend these coins, it's next to impossible to do anonymously because of how different agencies around the world would love to have a word with him, and extort him till he coughs up that whatever governments think he "owes" them.

Even worse, one tiny satoshi moving out of one of his thousands of wallets will result in a massive crash. I'm certain that bots are constantly monitoring these addresses to spot activity and dump as soon as they can.

Yes, this only speculative and rumor issue, no one knows how many bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto had. Even his personality no one knows I think his not going to give an address of what he/she had because you can trace where is the last drop of address. He maybe cares about privacy and remains anonymous.

It must be around 1 million as I heard. But it is hard to get information about what the address is. It was probably divided between several addresses, not in a single address.
