Virtual money such as bitcoin is now in widespread use in many countries, but there is a good future for virtual money in the 4.0 era. It is not unbelievable about the power of virtual money, but in the age of 4.0 one needs a basis to make sure that bitcoin exists and grows, or just as a wind passes by and goes into oblivion . Have you ever thought about the basis of need and enough for bitcoin to grow?

It is very appropriate that the virtual currency is currently used globally in the world financial system. With various functionalities and benefits that we get, the virtual currency can be used in various financial sectors. The era of 4.0 does apply more to the industry, but some countries such as Japan have begun to be in the era of 5.0 so that in this era Japan was very prepared in applying virtual currency in the daily lives of its citizens.

I must say, some countries have passed beyond that embracing crypto. but yes, we need to do our part to keep crypto alive and grow more acceptance around the world so that we can speed up the process of the transformation (the whole world going crypto).

Bitcoin is indeed doing incredibly well, thus spearheading the cryptocurrency technology to an era which will surpass all forms of digital currencies as long as the crypto space is concern. Amidst the achievement of Bitcoin, there are still more work to be done by all cryptocurrency enthusiast because there are more countries which are yet to accept Bitcoin. It will require the efforts and advocacy of crypto users here to get Bitcoin to its goal of mainstream adoption.

We are now in the world where we use half virtual half physical money in every transactions. As far as i observe, we use almost 60% virtual and 40% fiat which in the future, we can see that it will be evolving into pure virtual currency. Bitcoin and other crypto are growing and people are upgading things that will fit into it.

The world is already highly digitalized and has massively shifted towards virtual money, and a cashless society.
Bitcoin still has an edge over fiat as it is borderless and can be used anytime and anywhere, except in cases of government regulations or ban.

I am sure you didn't mean crypto by virtual currency here because it is not. I believe virtual currency mentioned here means plastic money like debit or credit cards. Because tue half of the world's transactions are not powered by cryptos. It is just a few insignificant percentage of the overall transactions.

I am sure that the use of virtual currencies will be increased in future. But I doubt that these virtual currencies will be decentralized cryptos. That will be most bank issued virtual currencies that majority of the countries are aiming at.

I personally don't want to sound negative but it's my version of speculation about the future of cryptos. Cryptos will emerge as a parallel currency system along with the mainstream economy.

I don't think we're already accepting virtual money wholly, as most of us are still inclined to use cash even though digital payments are already offered. While the future is already headed towards digitization of literally almost everything, I still think most people wouldn't be able to let go of the concept of physical cash. Some people just won't get used to not having cash with them as not all stores are readily accepting digital payments at this time and age.

I'm positive that bitcoin will have a huge spot for digital payments in the near future, but for now, we must do something for the merchants to accept it on their services for us to pay happily with our coins.

I completely agree with you. We need time for the Bitcoin development. Now, we are not ready yet. But some cryptocurrencies is getting easier this adaptation. Like Riplle. It is semi-decentralized (or centralized) crypto asset. And it is only start. It will develop and will get ready for decentralized world.

Are you talking about the needs that bitcoin fulfills or you are talking about the need of enough bitcoins.
We have virtual fiat money and we live in the 4.0 era so I don't get your point.

yes many people think that the virtual money will be change the real money, but i think it will very hard to replace the paper money, because we all here know about the functino of the paper money, many people dont have the technologies to use virtual money, and i think it will possible to use real money when there are people that dont have the technology to support vrtual money

You say half physical half virtual as if the current fiat actually existed, but most of it doesn't, thanks to the magic of fractional reserve banking.

Most people are unaware of this because they collectively put their trust into banks. But the banks are not keeping the money and loan (at least) 10 times more of what they actually have... Like any scheme, it works until enough people know the truth and decide to withdraw...

You can still use bitcoin even when the government bans it; depending on the extent of the ban and how to work around or sort of "bypass" it, and if you know what you're doing. The only problem that people would most definitely be scared to hold bitcoin, and also to accept it as payment. In the event of this happening, though I find it unlikely, I really expect prices to drop significantly.

yes, virtual currency has been widely used in the online market for now and for the future will be more prioritized, but to replace paper money will not happen, banknotes and virtual money are different places to transact, this is between the internet world and the real world , but they will always be side by side as the world-recognized currency

Bitcoin is a great invention and achievement to humanity and so are the other cryptocurrencies like ether, cardano, ripple etc.. which has a use in real world.
The future will be so much better when these cryptocurrencies are accepted in the mainstream platforms. BTC can be used for large transctions.
The thing that bothers me is why can't other cryptocurrencies can be used for micro payments while BTC be used for larger transactions.
Why do people keep trolling bitcoin just because it can't be used for micro payments efficiently.

Ain't know why people didn't use as of now because they think Bitcoin is good for storing and wait until they have profit instead using on this and make larger transactions to circulate the price of Bitcoin. This is the fact now, people don't use crypto as a payment system on the internet.

Yes bitcoin is a virtual money but let's call it cryptocurrency instead of virtual money. There are other types of virtual money so we can distinguish it easily calling it as it is, cryptocurrency/crypto.

A lot of basis but what everyone know it's more of the adoption in able for bitcoin to grow. Without people using it, there's no space for its growth but as long as there are people who have been using it for different needs, be it day to day or just occassional use it will grow.

The usage of bitcoin is not as widespead as one might think. There are 32 million Bitcoin wallets and 7.53 billion people. Assuming that there is 1 wallet per person, even though some people have a few wallets and some wallets belong to companies, exchanges etc, we get 0.4% of population using bitcoin at all. That's about 10 times less people than those using USD as their main currency. So yeah, the perspectives of adoption are not very promising for now. As for whether there's even enough bitcoin, let's do the math again. Now we have around 13 million btc in circulation (taking into account that 4 were lost). If everyone gets an equal part, thats 0.0017 btc per person which is only $6 at the current price. However, since each bitcoin equals 100 million Satoshi, each person has 170k Satoshi. Is it theoretically enough for the current population and needs? There is around 80 trillion dollars worth of all money in the world right now. We have 1.3 quadrillion Satoshi, so yeah, we probably could replace all of the money with bitcoin (if we ignore the issues with transactions, of course), but that will not be the case forever (unless there's a way to split Satoshi).

bitcoin exists and grows because of market demand, we can see the market demand for a global currency without borders and cannot be controlled by a large country and of course it is very safe, all of this can be obtained by using a bitcoin exchange tool, so there is no need for recognition from one of the countries because the business world around the world has admitted it.

This is not a shocking topic for me, because honestly I am really looking forward for this to happen. I am glad to have this happen for the future? Why? Because it is what is good for us people. That is only for my own opinion. But I think that when that time comes that virtual money become worldwidely used as a payment method, that will bring a much more convenience to people around the globe.

As we enter the era of inter-planetary habitation, we will need a currency that would meet the demand for these changes. A person may be working on Mars, developing software for a company on earth and he or she might get payment in Crypto currency that can be used between different planets.

Alternatively, people could develop a Crypto currency specifically for Mars or other planets and switch between that currency and other currencies for other planets, when they travel between them.  ;)

Maybe in the couple years all of the in the world will be have digital or virtual money that can be accepted in all kind of transactions. Even now we can see virtual money but not all countries accept it but I know in the near future all of us will use virtual money.

although whatever happens with bitcoin I still believe because bitcoin is the currency in the future replacing paper money which I think is not efficient because paper money can be damaged while the bitcoin won't be damaged whatever

Day by day we are depending on virtual money because we can easily handle it. It is so fast and secure. We can transfer money with a moment in over the world. It has reduced our time and money also.

Exactly! Virtual money will dominate the financial market in the future! It's just a question of time, I'm sure that bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies value will increase so much in the future and a lot of people around the world will start to use bitcoin and also other crypto. Banks are offering loans and services but you wont see any single penny getting out of their cash box. It is just a card or they will do it for you.
We can say it is minimizing the use of paper or damaging it but it is still fiat.
Ir aint crypto currency which is a hell of different.

We are already coping up with virtual money such as bitcoin. I wouldn't disagree with your statement, the new era will kind have a future ahead if this cryptocurrency will be fully embrace and accepted.As you can see, it is already been used as innovative payment that is why no doubt that it will be the future virtual money in the new era.

One thing is certain here that bitcoin wont go into oblivion and it will be there as long as the internet is active, countries around the world are turning to digital currency and the paper currency concept will be gone in the future but that does not mean bitcoin being adopted but government controlled local currency in digital format. Yes bitcoin is widespread in different countries and lot of people uses it but compare to the population we have, digital currency still needs to grow and grow. I bet digital currency will continue to live in the future era since the world continues to develop technology for the better future. The cost of maintaining the traditional currency is just too expensive, like transportation, replacement with new ones and storage, all these are boring and incurs too many costs. More so, the failure rate of its transaction can be alarming. So we are going to see a massive switch to virtual currency soon.

Let me tell you a secret. Bank cards also provide you a chance to make online payments. So what is the difference between fiat paper money and the same fiat but stored on your bank account? There is almost no difference. Government still have the control over those money and in case with our cards big brother is watching every our transaction. So the statement about something new in the future is not that good.

Yes,day by day people are interested on virtual money and they already start to use virtual money everywhere.Nowadays people use bitcoin other alt like as eth use in payment for different site or shop. The paper money of the states is getting damaged and getting old. However, for various reasons, access to bitcoins is lost. Now forever lost more than six million bitcoins.
The paper money of the states will remain for a very long time. In practice, they will exist as long as there are different states with different economic and political interests. States will never give up their national money.

Its too soon to say bitcoin is going to be the future and lead the virtual money, as I know we are toward cashless society and many countries already prepared the infrastructure and it has been proved that virtual money gives a lot of advantage to the users, bitcoin got a very good chance to be implemented and being adopted, but we still need time to see how the governments going to react

there is nothing "virtual" about bitcoin so you can't call it "virtual money". the correct term is "crypto currency".

We are now in the generation were digital or virtual currency are rising in different countries. Therefore, it is showed that the adoptions by the masses in cryptocurrencies are now little by little becoming needed in our time, due to it is not only a digital money but of course it is also a kind of investment business were it also give us a profit and savings for the future too.

The start of the virtual currencies to get appreciated is very obvious nowadays. For now, the physical money is dying. And although the replacement of cards is still the primary option right now, it cannot be denied that it is still basically fiat money that is ruling the system. Therefore, the inconvenience with fiat is still there. The centralized banking system is still there. The ownership of money is still not in the hands of the very people using them. I never believed this until 2 days ago when I realized that 60% of the adolescents in my country have smartphones.

Wait 10-15 years from now, they will also have virtual currency (as bitcoin and altcoins).
I guess that 10% of the adolescents play online games, where they are rewarded with virtual currency (whatever it would be), and they sell this virtual currency for Bitcoin or alt coins.

Wow, from where I am more than 90% have a smartphone, but it doesn't mean that use virtual currency. The use of smartphone here are for social media only.

Earlier people find it difficult to use debit/credit cards for transactions. Later this changed, with people beginning to use credit/debit cards and other digital wallets. Virtual money isn't accepted by the people in the early days, slowly same as other payment gateway people have begun to use the bitcoin as a currency and on various other needs. This assures that virtual currency is gonna be the future of the world.

We actually understand that it is a step by step development in the world of currency transformation. You are right the bitcoin or the cryptocurrency world is the best invention in the world because the money is cash less and hand free. If in the future that the cryptocurrency is the use for information and payment and money transaction it helps a lot to every people and to the community to invest a lot of money and wasting of time of every people will be disseminate.
