Hi All

I have not logged into Bitfinex for months, but got a new phone and i am slowly transferring all the Google 2FA codes.

I am stuck on Bitfinex - https://www.bitfinex.com/support

The 'Contus Us' page just takes me full circle, back to 'Password Recovery' !!!!!

I get the email but it states it's encrypted and i need to install Enigmail (i done this on Thunderbird) but i still can not read the email??

I have tried adding to posts on their FB page...Nothing/No reply!

I have Tweeted to them...........Nothing/No Reply!

Can anyone help please as i still have coins in there and can't do anything to resolve the issue.

If you are not able to recover your mail address then you should send a support to bitfinex team saying that "I have lost my mail address but the kyc information are with me. Please verify me again and grant me procession to my account." This may help you but would take you to long process. I think if you haven't done kyc then it might be a problem for you. But try to recover your e-mail address with different method first then try my method.

What is KYC? Never heard of it??

It is also impossible to send a ticket/contact them....It just goes around in circles as the last question on Customer Support is along the lines of 1. Do you currently/already have an account -Select YES, takes you back to resend email/password rest
2. Do not have an account - Takes you to sign up page...

There is no way to contact support, well i can not find any??

Try to seek help from the admin of their telegram channel.

Bitfinex is using PGP to encrypt emails.

Simply installing an addon doesn't allow you to read the email.
You obviously have to add your PGP key (which you have set in the bitfinex settings) to your addon (enigmail).

If you don't have access to your PGP private key anymore, your only option is to contact bitfinex (even tho this seems ot be impossible for you currently).
What exactly does not work from the support page on bitfinex.com ?
Usually you have to enter your email address (or even an alternate email address if you don't have access to your registered one) and they will get in touch with you.

I never set up a PGP key for Bitfinex from memory, i would have it stored otherwise.....I have keys for other people etc and i would use a program to encode stuff but i have NEVER had it on my emails???

The 'Contact Us' layout does as i described above, takes you back to 2 options.
1. Resend email/password recovery (my problem)
2. Open a new account.

This sounds fishy. Both messages.
They should not let you in so easy.
They should not ask for money.

But ask for more opinions, maybe I'm missing something.

So WHAT is the point of Telegram, i can not even type on their group....

This is UNREAL.....

Try to contact one of their telegram admins directly through a PM. Make sure they have an admin tag next to their name.
And no, you should not need to make any deposit, that makes no sense and is probably a scam attempt.

A quick search led me to find @acetyle and @kethfinex. They are both admins in their telegram group so contact them directly and see what they say.

This is the first time i have used telegram, i chatting to one person know, but i do not know if he is real??

Take a look at the picture below from their group. There you can see two posts from their admins acetyle and RJ. Notice the circled admin tag. That's how it should look. Those are official group admins and you need to make sure that your are talking to one of them. Many times scammers will contact you via PM claiming to be an admin but they are not. One of the unwritten rules is that admins don't PM people first. They also dont ask for passwords, private keys or any type of investments.
Pay attention also to the user names of the admins as scammers often try to replicate those, so in the case of acetyle someone might register with the name acestyle, upload the same profile picture and claim to be an admin.

Just click on the admin's username > Send Message in order to send a PM.
