Is it a good idea to sell airdropped BitTorrent tokens and buy more Tron? Each month on 11th there will be airdrop providing holder with more BTT, thanks to this after several months portfolio would grow. Two things to consider:
- is BTT growth rate surpassing TRX? Depends on other apps in Tron ecosystem?
- Does it make sense to do this operation, when airdrop would last only 5 years?

Opinions would be appreciated.

Tron price movement is more predictable than the BTT at this point, because still nobody know what will be the real adoption of BTT.
I still can't decide is it a good idea, but at least it's interesting idea and I could try it with 1/2 of my TRX/BTT.

I think what we will likely see about the Airdrop is that people now know the date and will start pricing in the Airdrops into the price before the airdrops, I have seen many of such Airdrops like this which result into price dumping later. Just don't put all your eggs in one basket

1. It's not yet surpassed TRX if you wanna try to create a comparison between it and TRX will be a winner. It makes sense consider about yearly airdrop for all of token holders.
It's not so good as people said to hold BTT consider a lot of amounts still hold by the team

It's hard to decide because BTT is new in the cryptocurrency. Besides that, we don't know what will happen with BTT. But if you want to buy TRX only, then you can directly buy TRX, and if you think that by selling BTT, you can buy more TRX, then it will help you to get more TRX. But I don't know if, in monthly, the holder TRX can get a return of BTT. And for the BTT price, no one will know right now as I said before, BTT is still a new coin/airdrop, but the price now is very low than TRX.

You want TRX because of the dividends?
I'm not a fan of TRX but if they are giving decent dividends why not?
You can buy BTT later if you want to after selling it at high price.

It could work out fine. Furthermore, BTT may be overvalued as compared to TRX since it is still trading at many times ICO price.

So, it seems it is all about predicting roughly whether Tron or BTT will do better ??? It isn't so clear, as BitTorrent is a kind of feedback loop on the Tron, while being itself promising project.

Even when the market showed signs of growth forward tron didn't reacted big. It was declining in value, on the other side bittorrent is completely fluctuating in lager margin. Right now it is good to sell bittorrent and buy back tron, but this isn't gonna profit in short time period. It requires long time period while with BTT one can get good earning on trading in short term. This is my personal opinion and needs to be decided one's own.

I do not really know a lot about BTT but I have been watching TRX for some time and it seems to me the bubble is bursting, so right now it does not seem like the best idea to buy it if you have high hopes for your airdropped BTT coins, the moment to buy TRX was months or even weeks ago so you are very late especially if we consider that TRX has been giving losses all week.

Yes, Tron lost about -8% in a week, making whole operation with BTT kind of a dividend, which has been cut from the stock price. Nevertheless, Tron price is going to be influenced each beginning of the month, when accumulating before 11th is happening.

I think holding TRX is a better decision than holding BTT coins for airdrop! Even I have confusion about the over-hyped BTT coins! Only 700 people bought billions of BTT coin from the sale, and after the sale, coin started trading immediately. I think big buyers will manipulate the BTT coin's real price.

It's possible. This coin is overly hyped mainly because bittorrent is not something new to people's ears. Most of us have used torrent in the past one way or another before it became easier to download and stream stuff online. Personally i like the chances of both btt and trx for a long hold.

How many BTT airdrop they giving? As far as I know this is a very little amount, and price of BTT is very overvalued. Just 6% of all tokens they sold pn ICO. So all this 94% tokens they will distribute via airdrop? For how many years this airdrop planned?
I think price may falling with every next airdrop...

I think it's a good idea as btt token is not yet implemented in bittorrent platform. And i don't know why tron decided to create a separate token for bittorrent as they can use trx in bittorrent ecosystem. The more use case of trx will surely drive the price up. Although i don't own any trx or btt, I'm starting to get some trx to be eligible in btt airdrop and then sell btt to accumulate more trx.

Honestly, Tron is so overpriced right now, I'm not sure it has a lot of room to grow further up. Whereas ICOs still have x10 potential.

It is relative, because we don't know the price of Bittorent's token in the future.
even though Bittorent itself when it sold out their tokens was sold out and has been acquired by Tron himself.
but I don't think it is profitable to have to wait long.

I already sold mine to try this strategy until Bittorrent still have some value. I think the whole thing is too much hyper and people are buying from FOMO. But I don't refuse free money, specially when they are easily converted to something more meaningful.

are some of you still sure that BTT prices will break above 0.002 dollars later? I think BitTorent is a very good project where coin sales are the most successful for this year

Price of that coin itself must be looked carefully. It is true we will get more coins, but like staking, price of coin that give to people can be decreased and Main coin that we hold, price is keep increased.

BTT has a very poor distribution so it will not succeed in the long run. They should have sold it in stages instead to allow more people to buy it. It's a bit of a mess at the moment, so I'd stick with TRON or switch to ethereum instead

Tron is absolutely a better choice rather than btt, Tron got more support and got more potential than btt, from the implementation and vision trx seems more serious about entering the market and many speculators mention a good positive response for trx so I think trx will give better profit

Couple of days later, TRX is performing better than BTT, just a quick update.

In these moments of the market I would tell you to leave the token with a percentage of profit, if so, you can do it since TRX has more history, has a great community and good volume ... When it is in phase of Airdrop the price in some time will fall a lot, especially if Bitcoin falls ... that's the only consideration I could give you right now, seeing how is the market in general.

Why will I want to sell BTT for TRON, this are both good project and have something good to offer to us, why on earth will I sell one for another when I can buy both, if I don't have enough funds to buy both, what I do is that I split the money into two parts, the first part would be 60% of the money to buy the coin that has more assurance then I use 40% to buy the coin. That is 60% for tron and 40% for BTT, so can make you choice too.

Seems people started go out from BTT. I don't see any perspective in this coin. This was overhyped by Justin Sun. But in fact which using thi may have? Share content with having a lot of TB dick space not profitable according with competitors. And they may have a problem with law, as share piracy content is illegal too in many countries.

It could be good idea, but I think that there are better ways to earn that money or even more money. Right now is not that bad idea to short TRX because it could go down and follow BTC trend. I just say that you could make more money by shorting than waiting for airdrops. However I wish you good luck.

all I think has been thought of. I own both of these assets. I don't expect much because I trade btt and trx every day, not as a long-term investment.

A good strategy, but I believe that the BitTorrent coin has a good growth potential due to its well-known name and therefore you should not sell it completely and change to TRX. Perhaps it makes sense to sell half of BTT coins and change them to TRX, and keep the remaining 50% of BTT coins and wait for their price to rise.

11th day of March is coming, so we'll see how BTT rate is going to behave after releasing some more supply. Any predictions?

Most of the exchanges support monthly BTT airdrop for Tron holders, btw.

I would wait trx price for about 400 Satoshi it would be a good price to reenter. Now the hype with BTT and TRX is calming a little bit so IMHO wait. Or buy fetch it dropped significantly and IMHO still can show interesting movements. 

A monthly airdrop for the holders I think it is a good idea to gain more investors,
But the problem with such alt-coin is the early holders who would take advantage of the pump because they already gain many coins or token through the airdrops.

This airdrop is limited for some years so no matter what the total supply will become stable so there is no need to sell for tron because you you don't know the fate of tron as well.
But I think it is good opportunity for people who own more trx to get more BTT but I do not encourage selling BTT for trx just for more because you do not know when BTT will get pumped. what if you sell and it gets bumped whilst trx gets dumped?

I think tron has a better chance of bringing a profit, i would exchange the tokens for tron.

It's up to you, and you can do that if you want to buy more Tron. But I don't think that BTT can growth and surpassing TRX, and I don't know for sure.  But Tron can be increased if the bull run comes because it will trigger all coins to increase higher including Tron. So if you want to sell BTT, make sure that you can get the highest price of BTT so you can make a free profit to buy Tron. But for how long BTT can survive, that would be a big question as we don't know what will happen in the future.

Due to the BitTorrent airdrop recently tron get much attention, you may assume that it could increase, but for now nothing is moving forward. This is exactly how the bear market reacts, but in the long run TRX would be a better option rather than BTT.

When using BTT to increase the price of TRX, why do you think opposite? Because most exchanges have shared that they will give BTT airdrop to those who owned the tron, and this means that BTT supports tron. lol

You have enough BTT to buy TRX? BTT price can´t be compared with TRX. The airdropped BTT are not worthy if you do not have thousands of TRXs. So we are here talking about selling thousands of BTTs to buy 2-3TRXs?  ::)

but it's much better rather than keep them all on the BTT form consider about there will be a lot of coins to be dumped to the market and that means if you must see that from the perspective what happen when airdrop will have sent to all of btt holders.

I do not agree, I would rather keep more diffrent coins.
And Bittorrent looks like it could make profit in the future. It is one of the coin that will be used by people in everyday life. And Bittorrent has big user base.
