Post by: UserU on February 15, 2019, 11:38:23 AM You must understand that due to the high risks associated with no-collateral loans, any newbies or low-trust accounts have to bear the brunt of angry seniors.
Title: Re: $60 WANTED - $100 In a month. Post by: AB de Royse777 on February 15, 2019, 11:43:34 AM I have my colateral and that is a domain - SOFTWARE.IM! I am afraid that this is not a valid collateral, at-least not for this forum bud. You need to come up with a better one. May be some altcoins if you have. If you have then good luck with that.Cheers :-) Title: Re: $60 WANTED - $100 In a month. Post by: TheBeardedBaby on February 15, 2019, 12:04:21 PM I'll just quote Vod here regarding the domains as collateral >
What is considered collateral? Collateral is something that can easily be resold to cover the loan value plus interest should the loaner default on the loan. - The best collateral is another crypto-currency, such as Ethereum (also written as ETH). Coins must be moderately traded on multiple exchanges. - Some digital wares such as domain names can be considered as long as the user cannot recover it. - Small valuable items that can be shipped though the mail - i.e. gold, silver, iphones, etc. - Large items, such as a motorcycle or guitar can be used if you live close to the person giving you the loan. Post by: bill gator on February 15, 2019, 05:37:16 PM A big contingency is that the domain must not be recoverable, which is easier said than done. Then on top of this, the collateral must have a higher liquid-value than the loan you are requesting by about 20%.
From the perspective of anyone considering funding this loan, it went from a newbie requesting a no collateral loan to a newbie trying to sell their domain through a loan-request on a burn-account. You've gotten the wrong kind of attention from this thread and it shows all the signs of not being a fruitful endeavor for you or anyone else. I would suggest locking the thread, even if your intentions are good. Wrong place, wrong time with the wrong collateral and reasoning; "I'm broke" is a horrible way to give a lender any sense of security. Title: Re: $60 WANTED - $100 In a month. Post by: Patatas on February 15, 2019, 06:53:26 PM OP: You should have read the collateral rules more carefully. They are looking for valid collateral and not something that doesn't hold a value. I used this tool https://www.freevaluator.com/ to estimate the price of your domain and it shows $46. Now I don't know how accurate is that estimate but it certainly isn't valid for the money asked for. On a side note, domains are not accepted as legit collaterals because they can be easily recovered.
edit : I used this https://www.siteprice.org/website-worth/software.im . tool and the value isn't much different from the previous one. Title: Re: $60 WANTED - $100 In a month.
