Title: BitBook.ag is Scam. Please Keep Off.
Post by: logfiles on February 17, 2019, 02:58:12 AM
⚠️

Bitbook.ag Sportsbook and Casino alongside their ICO that is currently running are SCAM and you should avoid them at all costs.
They have an Open Scam Accusation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5109763.0) which they have since failed to resolve with sufficient evidence.
They have a stolen Identity of someone whom they claim to be their "CEO"

I just decided to post this here so that members looking for any new gambling site are at-least aware of the current situation since the suspected scammers have since then continued to post new announcements and decided to continue bumping their threads.

Please if you still love your money, stay away from their ICO and their Online gambling platform.

Also, if you are looking for new projects, online casinos, ICOs etc, be sure to first do extensive research and also check with the Scam Accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0) board to avoid getting ripped off unknowingly.

Thank you,
Cheers.

First glance I thought this is Betcoin.ag - (my eyes are quite blurred).

Since you had already posted this scam stuff on accusations board then it would already be enough for people to be aware but I do still appreciate your effort and sincerity and it is much
better to lock up this thread.

Thank you... Just posted it here because they have been trying to create more profiles to post their ANNs here.
I will lock the thread though.

Thanks OP for warning all the users of the Bitcointalk.
But to be very honest I have never heard of the site's name nor I have played there with even a single penny.
I would also like to warn people that dont Gamble/invest your "own" money in newly born sites. Always go for trusted sites as there are no chance of people getting scammed.

True @LimLims.
These people have even gone as far as sponsoring some written articles on Forbes. It got me quite concerned. I hope no one at-least in the Bitcointalk community falls for this scam.

Edit: I just decided to keep this thread open until otherwise... there might be people from the gambling community who need to air out their open views.

I like to join the rest to commend your effort too in the share of this scam accusation. Scamming has taken a wider shape in gambling world and we must all fight them collectively to bring back sincerity in the world of gambling.

Warning gamblers with posting here is good idea and thanks for heads up. Btw they offer welcome bonus up to 150% and conditions for wagering are harder than compared to similar offers on alternative gambling sites. Offers are kinda too good to be true..

Yup, an off the old say goes, "If it's too good to be true, then it's probably scam"

Scammers are trying various ways of being smarter, but we shall also up our game and keep exposing them so that at-least someone who does a small research about their platforms will find this scam alerts and accusations floating allover the web before investing in them.

Thanks for posting it here, not everyone are browsing the scam accusation section so it's good that we can discuss it here.
We need more good sportsbook and this one disappoints us, this is another bad publicity for ICO, another scam will affect more the reputation of ICO.

If they want to air out then just post in the accusation thread since this was already posted there. And so many people can also read their insights and give opinions. Just lock this thread anyway, it's being redundant.

It's not redundant IMO, here we can make a general discussion while in the scam accusation thread we have to be subjective.
Just like this thread allegedly defrauding customer for 330.58 Bitcoins? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5107480.0 CloudBet), people still discuss their views and opinion despite it already has a scam accusation thread.

Agree with you on this saying above.
You can not trust with just words and need proof to be able to make the correct decision on whom to trust with your funds when it comes to these gambling sites.
I remember betcoin.ag and actually deposited and used them for a couple of bets but after seeing several scam accusations against them I stopped using their site because I did not want to lose any of crypto to a scam site. Even if it was in question.

It has already been done. However, the scammers have taken it up to themselves and decided to even post new threads here with new untagged profiles, so any unsuspecting user could easy fall for the trap.
And I don't think it's necessary to lock the thread. The main purpose becomes meaningless.

If you don't like the thread just ignore it.

Good idea but I don't thing moderators this forum allowing such this thread stay longer here. Each sub forum has each own function, this is pointed out each people in this forum not lethargic to find some information (in this case against gambling site that will he choose). They can't rely utmost on this sub forum to find out gambling sites that have a bad reputation.

I have seen newbie accounts bumping their threads everywhere. All positive comments are posted from newbie members and the comments are useless. So, it's a worst planned scam because, one who would read the comments will notice this on the first hand. Nowadays, it is hard to find legit ICO's. As the OP suggests, do extensive research before making an investment. They have already proved that they are full of lies. It's better to stay away from the casino and their ICO.

Hey first of all I would like to thank you for making this thread, as most of the members do not visit scam accusations board on a daily basis. I have never heard of this site until you brought it up, so I’m sure this is not a famous and trustworthy site. I have a simple policy regarding online casinos, first visit their Ann here, see their popularity, and only then do I decide to play there also you should stick to popular casinos only.

These newbie users are making an uproar everywhere that are spouting positive only comments to an obvious scam site or ICO I think this is their plan to gain trust with other users and I think a way to get potential players for them, But I am not saying that all newbies could be considered accounts for such scam sites I am saying that most newbies that are keeping a positive outlook on possible scam sites are a possibility working for them.

Thanks to warning people about scam sites, we need some warning like that in time to time, because I saw lately that there is a bunch of casino scam sites was opened and scam a hundred of people.
This act like they are trustable sites and even use https in their site address, but you shouldn't trust them, you should always be careful and read more feedbacks about the site before any deposit on the site.

This world is not fair in all the time so some scam casino also survive in the market. But most of the gambling sites are not good in customer support so we should rectify our own is the best solution for gambling. Some scam projects are directly affected in many user so carefully participate in these sites.
