There are so many assumptions on the mysterious pseudonym. People taking sides to their liking. At this moment it would not seem essential at all, because Bitcoin is living its own life now.
Yet we ask again: who is Satoshi Nakamoto?  ???

There is a lot of speculation about who is the real Satoshi Nakamoto! It's really something weird that no one knows who create bitcoin in 2008, It has passed now more than 10 years and the mystery is still on, as I read in the article there is some people that claimed are Satoshi Nakamoto, but you couldn't trust them, because they don't have a strong proof.
Personally, I think the creator of bitcoin is dying or they are a group of people who are pretty good hiding and so intelligent, I hope one day this all of the mystery will show off.

I really hate this "Satoshi Hunt" type things, why don't you guys respect his/her/their privacy?

Who ever created is not a problem the thing is now bitcoin is running on its own and no one is their to control , that is why it is getting more popular. If anyone is claiming of being Satoshi nakamoto then he should be having the private key for the bitcoin held in the wallet and once it is confirmed then i think the price will go down as everyone will be fearing that if he sold it then market will dye. So not knowing about the creator is the best way of living bitcoin in the market

Satoshi hidden identity is one of the pillars of Bitcoin decentralization. Everything would be centralized on Satoshi, like it is in Vitalik's blockchain. I am convinced he will never be found.

Satoshi Nakamoto can be name of group who thinked, designed,created first worlwide coin. I have no idea tbh about personality of that guys but this looks like another rumor created by internet heroes. It is waste of time to search the guy behind bitcoin that serves to online anonymity.

From my point of view Satoshi Nakamoto does not exist and i think this name is just a fictional character created so that people would stop asking who is the creator of bitcoin. If the creator of bitcoin didnt wanted to reveal him/herself until now then he will die like that or probably reveal his identity right at the end of his life ,when nobody is going to care anymore. Right now i think its almost impossible to find the person who created bitcoin because there exists a ton of informations on the internet about this and most informations or news from 2009 do not exist anymore.

What i like most about bitcoin is that no one knows the creator because i think it is safer that way so please can this search end because we don't want to know the creator we only want the market to do well.

do we really need another topic about the biggest scammer and attention whore in bitcoin?

As far as i know satoshi nakamoto is gone. Or leaved bitcoin, he stopped posting here too

Lol, I think we should get over with CSW as the real Satoshi. It was already proven that he is fake Satoshi, so there's should be no argument.

Bitcoin was created by Satoshi and after that he/she/they wishes to remain anonymous, so lets leave it like that. People are getting tired of this conspiracies, it's good in paper to attract attention, but it doesn't serve any purpose for the whole crypto verse.

Everybody want to be  acknowledged as the person behind any successful story but no one want to be the person behind a failed project or an idea. Due to how successful Bitcoin and blockchain technology are, everybody wanna claim ownership of that. I don't think none of the people claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto are the one. If Satoshi Nakamoto wanted to be known like his/her identity will have be added to the Bitcoin whitepaper. Enough of these conspiracy stories....

There will be people that will claim they are the creator of bitcoin SATOSHI NAKAMOTO.
BUT why? why they are claiming it now at this stage, if the person who created this BTC wants the popularity he did that long time ago.
SO i will doubt every people who will claim it!

There are many people who have claimed that they are the real Satoshi but eventually no one was able to proof himself as the real owner.
The mystery continues until now. I wish nobody should ever know who he was so that bitcoin could work the way it was meant to be.
The identity behind Satoshi is meant to be hidden and if it is identified then bitcoin won't grow the way it was meant to be.

This question will never end at least not until the real satoshi comes and proves his identity beyond reasonable doubt to everyone,and until that's done we'll always ask who is satoshi and many will keep claiming to be him

I believe that it is hal finney more than it is craig wright. The fact that he lived near someone called satoshi nakamoto cannot be ignored. Why would craig choose that particular name? no connection at all

Craig Wright once again disingenuous to mention the fact that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. These words and statement he as usually wants raise its status in society and authority. He wants to be talked about, because it's a great opportunity to discuss this man.
He even said he would swear that he was actually Satoshi.
No one will believe him until he confirms that he is Satoshi, and there is no real evidence that he is the founder of bitcoin except one - this is a transfer of bitcoin from the personal wallet of Satoshi Nakomoto.

The thing is that, it's hard to prove who is real Satoshi Nakamoto. Why? When he appear, FEDS and IRS (all type from different country) waiting and hounding and it's gonna be ugly and damn bad. And I think this is the reason Satoshi Nakamoto, doesnt matter if real person or group, remain and forever will remain anonymous.

Of course we'll never know who Satoshi is until he wants to tell us. Those who claim that they cannot be the creators of bitcoin because there is no proof of this. I think that if Satoshi decides to reveal his identity about it we will know without reservation and accurately. And we will have no doubt. So guess is thus meaningless.

I feel this question has been answered many times before, with the same conclusion each time no one will ever know who satoshi really was. I don’t consider any of the current candidates to be the real satoshi, that person gave up his identity for bitcoins let’s keep it that way.

That's why not listening to other's opinions is essential in online industries. After reading the thread i remembered on quote about challenging things,ideas and how others treat your job: First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they will start to fight you, then you WIN. Maybe this is the main reason behind the told success stories, so, all challenges have same story.

Whoever claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto isn't important right now. The thing is, bitcoin is still alive, kicking and still surviving despitr of every issues they are throwing in. I don't think people will easily believe them unless they will have strong evidence and profs. After all the success of bitcoin, anyone now claims that they are Nakamoto.

I think Craig wright is really taking this his claims that he is satoshi nakamoto to far. If it was true how come the name satoshi nakamoto existed in the first place.

Yes, there is nothing big to take into conversation and find who is the real Satoshi. He himself doesn't wish to reveal his identity to the outer world, even though he's the one contributed big to an innovation. By this time, what's better is to grow along with bitcoin and support Satoshi vision come to reality.

it is very important when the person who is claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto is a big scammer who is fooling people and performing identity fraud which is illegal all over the world!
it is even more important when he starts creating a shitcoin fork and starts attacking bitcoin whether with hashrate stealing or with social media drama misleading newcomers.

In my view, it is also strange story of Bitcoin. Because i also don't have information about Satoshi Nakamoto but i know about bitcoin. And if we see the history of bitcoin then we see most of the mystery in it. We only read one name of Satoshi Nakamoto but we don't know about him how is he? even he created a big brand and people don't know about him very well except his name. I only have one information about bitcoin creator that it is made by China.
