I haven't even been able to build portfolio of coins that costly but I'm hoping to build soon as this is the best time to do so ,I have few good ones on my list ,Stratis is a working project and promising too ,skycoin is a must too ,I kinda like bitcoin diamond as well

That article kinda does not say nothing about Circulating supply . If its under 1$ per Coin/Token it does not mean its cheap . If you look ar IOTA marketcap then it already have $839,129,580 USD and costs $0.30 USD . To reach 0.90 $ USD cents ,  it will have 2,517,388,740 Billion USD marketcap which is currently quite hard to reach for coin / token . Best choice to get cheap coin / token is to look for low Circulating supply / Total supply and low marketcap .
Ofcourse low marketcap tokens/coins have higher failure risk , but it can pay out really high if you choose the right one

These cryptocurrencies under $1 are definitely very good for long-term investment, so if you have got the funds then it is the right time for investment. When the market goes in bull trend then you can make good profits.

Their token model is also unique and heavily biased imo towards rewarding the long term token holders.

I agree with IOTA, PundiX and Tron.
But I would not invest into NEM that announced that they are in big financial problems, they are dismiss employees and reducing money for development and marketing.

Same opinion on NEM. The team are quite active but I would rather wait and see them recover financially first before thinking of buying their coin. It's just too risky right now.

I doubt people understand this calculation even OP. People literally see the tag price and decides the value of the coin. Most of the people are still running after the crowed. If a bunches of people say that this is the right coin then they are also saying the same and buying it.

Although, I agree with your point. Money is a sensitive subject and you shouldn't invest if you have doubt...

you can't use terms such as "cheap under $1" and "promising" in one sentence really. they are exact opposite of each other. an altcoin that has gotten dumped so much that is currently worth below $1 is not "promising" it is a dead coin and the only way you can make profit from a dead coin is if they get pumped. in which case they become a gamble for a short term like a couple of days only.

Only long term investments can bring more profits than short term investment. Because who invest in high prices and he can face a lot of losses Due to dumping market but if he invests long periods he must gain more profits.I think that everyone can conduct the analysis on their own today is the best time to buy any crypto.

I don't think price is the only think that is considered before investing in a coin. Circulating supply / max supply, the value and so many other things will be looked at. One has to do a lot of research not just the price.

10 Most Promising Cheap Cryptocurrencies Under $1 In 2019: Stratis,Holo,Basic Attention Token,Chainlink,ZRX,Nano, ICON,Ark, Polymath,Dent,and Gladius Token. all of the coins are quite great for hold right now. The price is very low and they have huge volume without Gladius token. but I have a strong belief at this project. I hope soon Gla token would be a good product. If you want to invest cryptocurrencies you can buy those coin but not forget to do your own research before the investment.

The development should always become the main concern because any coin has its own potential to growth a lot on its price, you can determine how good the platform from seeing the price of coin or token.

Actually I think the price of Bitcoin is currently relatively cheap. Bitcoin has experienced a very sharp downtrend. But if you want to find cryptocurrency below the price of $1, I agree with the article above. And I recommend Stellar and Ripple more.

I just read the link and there is nothing convincing about the listing and the information there. It is just as if someone has those coins and he is trying to spread FOMO to boost the prices.

How could you left out nano ? I mean there are so many coins that are so much behind Nano in that list. Nano was the pioneer in the fast transaction world of crypto and still is and had at one point reached 34 at its peak and now under 1 dollar. It has so much more potential than many of these coins, a x10 in Nano wouldn't be even a shock during the bull run.

People loved Nano as well, check out reddit and how much each coin is mentioned, it is 6th most talked about coin in all of reddit, beating many of the famous coins like monero. I say a top ten under 1 dollar coins list without Nano is literally missing one of the most important ones. Maybe iota and cardano could be better and its a tie with xem and stellar but it really deserves to be there more than many of those coins.

my favorites are neo, stellar eidoo and mnx i think once the bull market will restart they will have a bright future and will be profitable for any investors

Most of the altcoin referred to in the article is altcoin that has a large market cap. Of course so the growth potential of these altcoin is huge. But BitTorrent is a newly released token, but the current price I think is too high to invest

The price of the coin has zero connection to the value of the coin. Price and value are different things.

People just want to invest and make +.  When there is no experience or capital is not big for many, this is the way out. However, choosing a coin worth up to $ 1 is worth carefully exploring the project. Latest news. Understand whether the project will work and grow. What tasks does the coin perform?

I still can't understand why the heck people search for projects with a low price for one piece? What's the point?! The main thing is capitalization. Price, supply (fixed ofc) - don't matter at all.

Its look more safe to choose top 10 ranked in coinmarketcap like XRP, XLM, TRX but actually cheap price of crypto did not help alot for its price increasing because the circulating supply also too much. I think much better to choose crypto according to fundamental factor which that crypto have live product and partnership with third party.

I think 1$ price is not a good filtering. Because the most important part is the market cap. If a coin worth less than a dollar it doesn't mean it is not a known one. Look at ripple it is less than a 1 $ but 3rd biggest cryptocurrency.

Still, if you want promising cheap crypto under 1$ i should suggest looking to semux. It is promising, less than a dollar and also has a very small market cap.

Of course, this is complete nonsense when people talk about the specific value of a coin and do not understand that the number of coins will be very huge.

still too early, I think this year there has been no sign of a significant increase. but there is no harm in long-term investment.

Compare all of altcoins from the list which OP recommended i think Stellar Lumen is the most potential and the secondly i think ADA but i was wondering why XRP excluded because this altcoins is very potential to considering that the position on coinmarketcap also very good and can beat altcoins popular such as LTC which already exist since several years ago

I like pundix and iotex. Both projects have a great community. The team is actively working and sharing their success with the community.

Every trader/investor has their own style to analyse the coins but I always prefer to pick the coins with less limited supply with good trading volume and on the basis of this criteria I selected Aeron, Help, B2bX, DeepOnion, KuCoin Shares, Stratis, Bancor, LocalCoinSwap and Arbidex these all coin has good daily trading volume and I believe its worth to hold these coins for long term as all these coins are currently under $1 value and I hope you will check these coins as well.

I wonder why people pay so much attention to the value of the coin in price, I do not think the price of a coin should really determine its worth.

Let's imagine, I invest in a good project when the value was 0.03 usd which is far less than 1 dollar, then I purchase 10000 of the coin, which the total cost will be 300 dollar, just think about the value grew in price overtime to 0.4 usd which is still less than 1 usd, has that not given me 4000 usd in return ?  So like you said, we should learn to judge by growth in marketcap of the coin.

It seems that here we can say that XRP is really the project that solves all these issues. I think that there are a very large number of people who understand and accept this. Of course there are a lot of other coins, but I think that XRP is exactly what you need.

Sorry but I think that's false, there is no promising or guarantee in this market, no one really knows about the future of any coin, yes there are some good coins and tokens trying to make a way for themselves but still every single of their price depends on bitcoin's price, if I want to be along holder I would rather to stick on btc.

I usually do not rely on the USD price of altcoins but often rely on the price of its BTC pair. Those altcoins that cost less than 20sts I think are very potential, like HOT or NPXS. Thanks for your analysis, I will consult more.

Sometime last two years, I saw this kind of post and made researches on the promising cryptocurrencies to invest in. The disappointment I feel now can not be measured cos most if not all the coins I invested in are below my capital base now. Crypto is just luck.

I agree with the choice of Pundi X, ADA, XLM and BTT coins as long-term investment coins because currently they are cheap and some of them include the top coins

I would be careful with investing in altcoins right now. I think that now it is better to invest in Bitcoin and after its growth buy Altcoins in a pair of Altcoin / Bitcoin

There are many potential coins right now which price is under 1 USD! Even in the top 20 coins, there are many coin's prices of less than 1 USD. Personally, I like XRP, XLM, NPXS, TRON, IOTA, TEZOS, BAT, ICX and so on. Especially these coins are better for the trade and hodl for a long time.

It is true that there is really no assurance of profit from the list of promising altcoins. Though some of them are already established in crypto but I won't risk my money without carefully studying my options. My all time cryptocurrency in my list is always bitcoin. Because I know for a fact that the popularity of its usage has already reached a lot of ordinary people around the world. It would take years and years for the same cryptocurrency to achieve this popularity.

I have been bullish on PundiX and Stellar for quite some time now. PundiX most especially, is one of the coins that has a successful ICO and yet able to continue with more development at postICO. Since then, I have been searching four coins of this nature. Although, there are several of them, but I am yet to find one.
