The future is certainly bright for cryptocurrencies at the moment and it just seems like everything is falling in place at precisely the right time.
Bitcoin ETF is coming up, Bakkt launch is also around the corner, Ethereum Constantinople hardfork is almost here, JP Morgan who public criticized cryptocurrency last year is launching their own JPM coin which will be the first cryptocurrency backed by a major bank in the world,  and the timeline has been set for the next bitcoin halving.

The bull market is not so far off again

Not yet dude, we are still a far cry from a bull run, so it's better not to get excited to say the least. The Bitcoin ETF has yet to be approved its just the SEC will review two proposals but it doesn't mean approval yet. So If I where in your shoes, I will still be cautious and not put to much hope though, just saying.

There are good news and I really hope that this time a serious and concrete bull run will start soon otherwise too many investors will loose definitevely faith in this market.

However, the SEC has been extending the decision for a long time and it is not guaranteed that it will not extend. Also BAKKT is not different from it. I do not think that ETH Constantinople hard fork can have a big impact on anyone other than ETH. I have doubts that JP Morgan will have an influence on the decentralized market. I believe that the bests will be by ourselves without reason.

So yes, there's a lot of positive news coming in, and I do hope that this will turn out to be the start of what we all have been waiting for, the market have seen the longest bearish trend in the history of crypto so it would be nice to see some semblance of recovery and I do hope that the OP is right.

I think still market is fluctuating so bull run is stay in a same place because Bitcoin is father of crypto it is maintain a below 4k USD and Ethereum is again red in the market so we should buy more crypto in this situation. I hope this year we will see the good result in crypto market.

I agree with you, remember about fidelity will launch bitcoin very soon and it was having a very big capitalization and that should bring another good impact to the bitcoin and this will give a bullish trend to the whole of crypto. I also like to see green prices on CoinMarketCap. Bitcoin is again almost $4K, ETH is growing to $150. It seems that the bears have gone away, and I hope they will not return soon.



Honestly, I do not expect the SEC to approve a Bitcoin ETF this quarter, so in my opinion, this is not a positive factor for the time being. I guess that Bakkt also be launched not earlier than this summer. Indeed, Ethereum shows very good dynamics, being one of the most profitable crypto currencies this month.

I think there are chances of bull, might possible we can see a bull run in March or in couple of months.
Market is positive but in crypto difficult to predict, we have to aspect everything. In current market situation we can aspect a bull run.

I , like many others, really wanted the market to finally begin to grow, because for too long we have seen a period of dump.But I think that it is too early to make such conclusions.

Its been a year since the market started to dump and I think this can also be the start. Yes, many people wants the bull so they can take back the money though its not confirm as a bull run but the pump on the market now is a good sign. There's no btc ETF coming up, there's a SEC decision about the ETF coming up and we don't know what the outcome is going to be, it might get approved, or it might be denied or delayed yet again.

There's no official date for the launch. Some reports say it might get launched sometime in March, so I wouldn't say "it's around the corner" when we don't even know the exact date of the launch.

The market could care less about this upgrade. If the update is succesful, I doubt we'll see any major movements in the market, so this has nothing to do with a "bull market".

Get your facts straight, JP Morgan didn't criticize cryptos, they were only spreading FUD about Bitcoin.

How can you tell? Because most of the things you mention are either wrong or have nothing to do with a bull run.

Oh well, a lot of people are really getting excited to see the market turning green in the last couple of days. It's understandable though, but let's see if bitcoin can push above $4K and sustained it or ETH goes around $200.

remember the sec still have to make a decision regarding the upcoming etf, nobody knows what that will result to, positive or negative and how it will affect btc, again, very hard to tell when we can see another bull.

Maybe this is a little bit early to say that the bull run is going to happen right now. Based on marketcap, the coin were dropping again even if it's just a little. And also the increase of the coins in a few days back were not so much significant, even though it feel a bit more than what previously happen.

I do hope your prediction is true. I have been hodling my assets for a long time and losing a lot of its value along the way. I am rearing to see some gain at least. The development in crypto is indeed directing towards a bull situation but the market is so unpredictable that you don't know what will happen next. Gonna wait and see.

We are now moving down again and it is sad that we don't even stay longer for the pumps.

All that you have mentioned are definitely good news for cryptocurrency but I think ETF and Bakkt will not happen anytime soon because it is obvious that they are postponing it just to manipulate the market but if they should happen, then they won't have much effect compared to the bitcoin halving.

I think the best strategy is to time these events towards middle of next year when the bitcoin halving will happen then the crypto market will moon.

I guess not, the JPM couldn't really control the market. There is a lack of support and I guess what can act as a  bull initiator is the ethereum with its blockchain and upgrade, that's what pushing the market of crypto high.

Indeed. bitcoin has 4 year cycle so if we take into consideration the last bull run which is on 2017, the next would be 2020--that is after 2 years.

I do not want them all to come at once, but it should be gradual, because when it come to bull run, it is more like a cumulative growth and I also see the next bull run to last longer than the last.

I guess $5k will double confirm whereas sustaining above $4k itself a very good and enough confirmation for bulls are back to action. There are lots of positive news possibility of ETF approval and adopting bitcoins by few major institutions. But, only when we will be having continuous investors, we can sure about this is a bull market, otherwise it may turn as a bull-trap even it will be testing $5k and then again $3.5k levels.

I think the thing that propels next crypto bull market will be the early stage of blockchain application. earliest cases, we will see how blockchain solutions are used in supply chain and remittances. You should not associate the situation in the market only with the news, as you know most of the Bitcoins owned by a person or group of people who can be called whales. And this person or group of people can manipulate the market at its discretion, and if you want to make bullrun.

Really a lot of positive news recently appeared but I would not be happy before the time, maybe it's all the false news to cheat people and make them buy, and then the market can still fall slightly. BTC's ETF has been postponed and it is impossible to determine when it will pass. The recent Ethereum fork event only pulled a small portion of the altcoin currency up.

We are not even close to a bull run mate, so keep your positions for now because we ain't going nowehere for now. This small green days that have been formed lately are just because there were some bullish news and actually people started to FOMO on this little rally and we are going back to 3k$. We can see clearly that the 4k resistance cannot be break for now.

Honestly, I felt bullish this month and I could say that ethereum may reach above $200 by the end of the month. Ofcourse, a price dump can be anticipated after getting our airdrops but who knows right? BTC have crossed the $4k resistance which is good sign that bullrun will come in near future. Also, a lot of money has been come into the market. Market cap was earlier below $120 billion but now it has been $143 billion.

We don't have any strong reason to describe that there is no bull market for the year. Everytime the bull market isn't predicted to happen, but it happens on its own according to the market situation. Of course, you are right, with respect to bull run, we don't have to be too much in a hurry for it because this may even lead to a kind of panic sell when the expected time passes without us seeing any significant change in the market.

quarter 2 is a short time for bull market growth. maybe it will take longer than that, because the current market isn't moving well either. if there is sudden growth, I'm not sure it will last long, maybe it will only last in minutes.
