I have read such predictions every where online even for last year we saw similar predictions which mostly proved wrong but i do hope and think that eth will definitely grow back to atleast previous all time high levels.

Unlike 2018 or 2017, ethereum is how facing touch competions from tron, eos and waves. Yes, all these are another platforms where tokens could be hosted for ICO or trading purposes. Waves is here for years but only in recent times it got some lime lights from big investors. I mean to say history may not repeat for ethereum and also ethereum's unlimited supply may not be a preferred one for long term investors. It may lead to frequent pump and dump of ethereum markets like how we do see right now with ethereum price levels.

First of all, I do not think that Ethereum can increase too much unless Bitcoin moves. Second, there are dozens of coins that could rival Ethereum, so it is not 2017 year. Besides it is not certain how the end of today's increases will be, the increases are likely related to constantinapole, and I think these statements depend on it.

Every points you gave are still simply predictions ,if I have to give my own prediction I would go for 1000$ per Ethereum with no bullrun around but if bullrun kicks in then expect 3000$ per ETH ,with the upcoming upgrade I'm sure it will surpass old ATH price ,buterin has more surprise for ETH than you know

I hope ethereum will touch $1450 or more is netter because we need to pump ethereum because it is our next king. It seems very good, but personally, I don't think ETH can gain that big amount this year. I assume ETH will hit 400 USD in this year because Constantinople can't boost ETH price that much, and if the JPM coin comes then many ETH investors will move to there. After seeing a long time bear market and a huge ETH collapse, I stop thinking that so much high, I believe ETH at 400-500 USD is possible this year.

Green day and already big speculations. I can say that something similar was predicted for bitcoin and it didn't go to 50-100K or 1M dollars and I don't think ethereum will reach 1450$. Maybe 300-400$ by the end of the year. It doesn't look market is recovering, there are few good news but that is it.

If you look at the current market situation, it will certainly be difficult for Etherum to get a price of 1k dollars. The benchmark is the price of Bitcoin which is still under 10k dollars.

With low capitalization and more mass adoption, price of Ethereum has possibility to going up again to highest price $1400 even will surpass it. More probability the price will reach to $1400 in the end of this year or in the beginning or next year. I feel like the price will rise soon.... as always in the world of crypto,, patience is the most important key factor.... it always goes up and down.... eth has good potential as altcoin that is for sure. likelihood of ETH pumping to any price above $500 is pretty small due to the fact that ICOs died last year and the only way of survival hope that ethereum had died with them because it has no other usage anymore.
also considering the huge unlimited supply that it has, you can be sure to see a lot of resistance on the way which will only grow the higher the price goes.

Some of the predictions are just outrageous. The $500 prediction is the more believable price that can achieve this year. It would probably take ethereum 2.0 to reach $1000

I think Ethereum will rise in 2019. Especially after the FORK will catch a good output. But then he can return to the $ 150-200 band. That there is or there will be an increase in the price of ethereum, does not mean there will be corresponding increase in the price of the airdrop token you are holding.

From the information I read in the crypto article that discussed ethereum in the near future I wanted Hardfork. With information and news that I often read, it is very possible that ethereum will increase in 2019. I personally also prefer to store ethereum from low prices to high prices. No, 1450 is too much. Don't even think for this target, it won't happen. I can't even imagine how ethereum would hit this target again. But just in case I am going to hold a part of my funds for a LR

People are not at all looking for what is really happening in crypto space or at least around ehereum but always expecting bouncing back of their bag holding. This is the only reason why we are having continuously such an unrealistic predictions all the times. Ethereum may not able to perform well like how it done in the past.

It is still difficult to predict the price of ethereum this 2019. Unlike for what happened way back 2017 Eth was jumped or kicked up to 0.1BTC almost. Then, when 2018 entered it was down little by little until it went down to the price so far. However, I still believed it can happen again sooner or later for sure, just hold and believed.

It's really hard to expect on these predictions especially when we were caught once last year. 2018 had brought a lot of lessons to learn and one of them is not to believe much at predictions. Better to study how te market moves based on the current situations and upgrades as basis. Currently ethereum's price is moving sideways around $145. There is no reason it can't reach a new all time high if bitcoin does.  We all know that bitcoin drags all the altcoins with it when it rises or falls.  I do think it will take a bit longer to reach $1450 though but I guess anything is possible in this crazy market.

but the whole point, hell the only point of ethereum to exist is to host ICOs and nothing else. and so far in the past 4 years that ethereum has existed we have not even seen a single ICO that is not-scam. every single one of them has been useless garbage that were created by someone who wanted to earn some free money and people on bitcointalk advertise the crap out of them because they get paid to do so!

it's just a prediction and everyone can do that, I personally never believe in the predictions of people like that because I often read predictions of people like John Mcafe who say if there will be a big jump in 2018 but it turns out he was wrong :D and my personal predictions for ethereum might only reach $ 900 - $ 1000 by the end of the year

i seriously doubt that can even be remotely possible.

it is not just about ICO hype being dead and ETH needing that hype to pump and without it rise would be impossible. but it is mainly because of a simple supply and demand relationship between anything in any market and ethereum now has a huge supply compared to last time it got pumped and that simply means a lot more sell/dump pressure preventing the pump from reaching that ATH ever again.

I respect every prediction that we have as I know that this is a speculative investment that needs speculation to create hype and attract every investor but those years had gone while we are entering in the maturity of the investors decisions to invest on the right coins that we have. My thoughts on this is really optimistic. For the longest time since Ethereum was first introduced we have seen many changes in the way the cryptocurrency was utilized and we saw that many institutions and individuals are vouching for this cryptocurrency to be the next king after bitcoin. There might be a likelihood that Ethereum will rise in price but I think over a thousand dollars for the next 10 months would be too much for the moment. You're absolutely correct. Predicting the future of any cryptocurrency unless and untill we understand the demand and further use is impossible. Etherum is a platform supporting a number of startups launch their own tokens as a mean of payment and the number of such Startups is uprising rapidly so we can expect a higher demand for etherum in 2019 as stated by the OP. We had actually expected a higher price of etherum in 2018 but it went approximately opposite and the prices started going down. We are expecting a higher price in 2019 but it would entirely depend on the demand for etherum in the markets. We can atleast predict the price of etherum upto $700.

For long term yes this is possible, but this year I doubt it. It has still a long long way to go. I firmly believe its longetivity since the blockchain of ethereum is a standout amongst the most valuable digital coins in the blockchain space.

I don't think they would do that, they are already the top 1 in the altcoin market and if they will improve more this coin it will benefit them more.
Splitting will just make them unsuccessful, running a new project does not guarantee a success, so I still would trust this nerd to run the project and my future as well.

I believe eth will rise above the current price in the market, but for the end of 2019 I cannot speculate on what price will go up, because it is difficult to predict the current market

Reaching a huge price in quicktime will not be possible because the dumped more higher than we expected so we need to wait for the huge development for ETH develop and it was take at least few years to be a high profitable investment.

Hard to know right now the possible price at the end of the year but for sure it will be more expensive. If you see opportunity to buy more ETH at a cheaper price better to buy more because it can soar high when the market becomes more stable and it can happen this year.

ETH has done well over the past month and I am looking forward for more improvement in its price after the upgrade. So far, there hasn't been any sign of response but I think it is left with who starts the pump first before everyone gets in. I will not be surprised to see ETH boom in the coming months.
