The Czech Republic will host Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Prague March 22, 2019  ;) for the fifth time – the event about blockchain and cryptocurrencies organized by Smile-Expo. The conference will feature blockchain specialists, entrepreneurs, and investors from different countries.
Conference topics
At the event, experts of leading blockchain companies will discuss global trends of the cryptocurrency market and the future of the technology.
Keynote topics:
•   blockchain: opportunities and risks;
•   smart contracts and blockchain apps;
•   the future of bitcoin;
•   development of blockchain in the Czech Republic.
Besides, the event will include a panel discussion – the format of a conversation between crypto experts that has repeatedly gained interest of the audience. Specialists will meet to discuss legal aspects of blockchain in business and cryptocurrency regulation.

Are there any names of the speakers/guests known? Is there gonna be anyone from Czech politics or EU perhaps?

It is imperative that these conferences be continuous in order for cryptocurrency to be understood, and attractiveness that can attract community's attention. The first stage for adoption starts from this and is the most important factor to be understood correctly.

Would be nice if there was life feed from the event and a section for those following online to put in opinions or throw questions at the speakers. This would truly make it a global event.

Tickets are surprisingly cheap, I did the conversion and 4,356 CZK is just around 192 USD which could still go cheaper as they have a sign up bonus which will further discount you to -10% of the ticket price, that's if you will be ordering the early-bird promo. But of course the problem here is if you are a foreigner living in a different country you will be incurring more cost for travel and accommodation. So the event is really meant for everyone, not unless they have a live streaming service for it.

I would love to participate in such blockchain-based meetings. There were very good speakers and projects in Istanbul Blockchain Summit. I'm sure it will be very efficient in Prague.

this will be a very great thing, and I really believe that by the way the conference will make the price of bitcoin rise even higher.

The conference involved leading blockchain specialists from the Czech Republic and technology enthusiasts from other countries. It was opened by Sean Patterson, Co-Founder of Euro Digital Partners.

After the moderator’s welcome speech, speakers revealed key technology issues as of today: legal aspects of blockchain, its application, and industry prospects. 

Miroslav Iwachow, Technical Leader for the Industry Sector at IBM, told the audience what Hyperledger meant and how the technology could solve corporate blockchain tasks.   

The expert talked about several blockchain solutions: TradeLens for container shipping, Food Trust for food safety, and World Wire for global money transfers....
