Though am curious of this prediction but for bitcoin to reach such whooping sum of dollars! $1,000,000. John McAfee has been a nice and bad guy since the very beginning of bitcoin so, seeing this coming from him maybe a good one. Just want at this time to stake my bitcoin wallets toward December, 31 2020.

These predictions are gone wrong and everyone became the centerline of it if they are giving that much predictions for bitcoin. I'm a bitcoin bullish but I'm a realist when it comes to predictions.

Predictions are pretty much pointless. Everyone can make a prediction; yes, even you. Predictions are pretty much just rough guesses anyway so take them with a grain of salt. Might as well just throw a dart at a dartboard with various pricepoints.

Hyping Bitcoin prediction is not bad but let's us be realistic though.

John McAfee is really smart, there is no doubt about this but this is not going to happen, at least not by the end of 2020. My guess remains the same, he probably has a terminal disease and he would leave before all this, he's just having fun.

Those numbers seem huge for something that is only worth 4000$ now. People are praying for the price to reach even 10.000$ in the future but what about 1.000.000$? For me its seems just impossible for bitcoin to reach that huge price, at least not with this high supply. Even if there would be only a few million bitcoins available that still seems like an incredible price right now or in the near future. I would bet my life that bitcoin is not going to reach 1.000.000$ in 2020.

I agree with you that even though it is from him, it is certainly too much to expect such a price in less then 2 years. Motives for such statements may be just in the fact that he will not be alive at that time, or that he has some information we do not have, in the sense that something really big is going to happen before the end of 2020. I just think he is not count on next halving as something big ;)

I guess everyone has its own motive behind, nevertheless, we all know how eccentric John is, that we shouldn't take his words seriously. If it happen in 2020, then good for us, if not then we shouldn't be disappointed, at least crypto is here to stay.

Well the price of Bitcoin depends on how is the demand of the people to it.
I think 100,000 USD per BTC is a hard thing to get as long as there are not many merchants in the world accepting it.

Though if he's thinking toward the halving he just made another blonder error because that could be so much expectant of the crypto-community, according to the date he pointed out which was December, 30 2020, maybe he's full of expectancy to the halving. Predictions is only an expectation if his forecasts will be genuine well that is an uplifting news if not no issue at all he's simply having a great time. However, Look at the possibility of the price of Bitcoin when it originally came out on exchange it cost is $0.003 last March 2010 and the price now of 1 btc cost $3900 it even reach $19k everything is possible with bitcoin.

Seriously? Bitcoin price will reach $1,000,000 I think its quite possible but if this thing happen many people will try to buy bitcoin before the year of 2020. This kind of prediction may affect the price of bitcoin in market but I still believe that in the year 2020 the price of bitcoin will rise again.

He has to have s degree of clairvoyance to attempt to predict the exact date bitcoin would reach a certain amount.
Reports like these makes me disregard future speculations or analysis from the individual. It is unprofessional, and any cryptocurrency enthusiast knows it's impossible to predict and fool hardy to attempt.

he does that every time, of course is not going to happen but somehow he makes it believable for those who  new to crypto. he had shill a lot of projects, although i don't see those projects becoming successful, they are still alive after the great 2018 bear market. $1M will probably happen one day maybe after 50 years so in the end he still right but not with the date.

I have said this time without number, no one can predict what will happen to bitcoin or its price at any given time. People especially John McAfee just say anything they feel and if you want to invest in bitcoin, do it because you believe in the technology and how it will change the world in the best postive way and not because of what people try to predict about price,

He’s trying to build something out of this prediction and for sure, many investors will not believe on this since he already done this kind of prediction before. Giving the exact date for a million worth of bitcoin is useless, there should be a strong basis to support this prediction, and not for being famous.

This will only be a prediction as usual as it has always been . We are missing out in a lot of things and that’s why all things keep happening to us because majority is only interested in price increament they can sell and step aside. This is really not the right approach . Until the real value is appreciated we won’t see any sustainable price monument not these mirage pumping that’s when we can have some good prices.

Again I agree with this as this is not the first time him (McAfee) is giving his prediction about Bitcoin. His predictions never worked and he never do what he saw he will do even after his predictions didn't work out. I have stopped believing in all this predictions as well as giving cheap publicity to them also.

Yet another unrealistic prediction by McAfee. The media will pick it up and if the market starts to go down again, they will use this kind of stupid prediction to defame Bitcoin. Maybe we should stop giving him all those publicity he craves for. If one thing we have learned over the years is that Cryptocurrency prediction is an arcane art! Tim Draper, McAfee, Jamie Dimon seem to have got it all wrong.

LOL. Now he comes up with a date. The only one that can predict accurately is a person from the future and that person doesn't exist. So what McAfee said isn't true until proven. Especially his prediction are always unrealistic. I'd rather believe myself, my own guts than taking others saying.

We always go to that kind of situation that we are the ones that truly understand ourselves that is why we are always sticking through our own decision which is always correct in my opinion, Well this technical analysis of McAfee is just a prediction and it doesn't mean that if he got the correct prediction on the first try he would be successful again in his next forecast and I admit that taking what he is saying and analysis the charts or the historical movement of bitcoin doesn't mean it can always be that way and critics always say to them that this is all just wishful thinking that they surely want this to happen, and you are right in just sticking to our nose than sticking to other opinions.

Though, he might not be wrong but with the date; probably he calculated it well or that's when he is trying to buy more of the coin as a whale and dump it up again when it hits his desired price so he keeps trying to hype it.

Enough with the circus show already. If he wants to develop a prediction market he should go ahead. This rodeo has gone on long enough.  What we need is market maturity so we could achieve the real gains of the market, not some unjustifiable speculation on bitcoin's market. If he has so much time on his hands, he should develop a project of value that have 'a million dollars' worth of impact across the digital asset ecosystem.   

Oh really he predicted the value of the bitcoin At the value of $1,000,000 with exact date how amazing prediction. For me it will not happen even after 10 years maybe the possible price for December 30, 2022 will become range about $10,000 upto $30,000.
There is more people predicted that value to happen and they really think bitcoin reach $1M which is not true in real life.

You know I try to see positivity in everything no matter how negative it looks, it might just be his little way of making the bitcoin value appreciate since most people believe in John MacAfeeeccentric crypto currency guru and former cyber security entrepreneur and well known for his price prediction, I also personally believe bitcoin value will sky rocket very soon too. So, let’s not see it as pointless as it makes a lot of potential traders and beneficiary of this coin go into Panic Selling.

He is just a guy who is fooling around, and his predictions have more positive than negative impact on people. Each of us should be free to make any kind of prediction, to elaborate it, to present it, others can like it or not. In the end he is funny if nothing else, with all his predictions and fights on twitter. Let the man belive in his prediction, that's not useless if prediction is way to optimistic, he can be a little silly cause of that, but not useless. I thinks it's good to have this kind of people who will spread optimistic predictions with others.

This guy is a serious threat to this forum everytime he comes up with some unpredictable predictions. I guess he's fooling himself by coming with such statements, few months ago he said he will cut his penis if the value may not reach according to his prediction. We should take a serious note on this comedian.

You are quite correct because such publicity for a prediction that is over exaggerated makes the whole thing childish. It seem unrealistic to have such wide speculation. I guess that is just to attract attention that isn't necessary.
