Title: Free Escrow
Post by: CrackedLogic on March 11, 2014, 06:42:01 PM
If I were to start offering free escrow, Would you use me?

I don't offer any escrow,yet.

I wouldn't mind holding digital things like alt coins, e-books,vouchers etc.

So back to my question, would you use me?

I checked up on your negative trust.
It was some random person who pre-emptively added negative trust to you because he thought your post history looked like that of a scammer.

It is not about the single negative rep , but you need tonnes of positive rep before you can become a trusted escrow.

Overall I'd say , you don't get rep to become an escrower , you become an escrower if you have lots of rep.

You need to get in touch with the person that left the negative. State your case and try to work things out. Even without the negative, IMO, I don't think you have enough Trust built up to offer escrow service. I don't think I would qualify either. In any case, it won't hurt to ask.

I tried to, no response.

True, thanks for the advice.

Bitcoin is capable as a decentralized escrow if you're good enough at using it

- Activity: 98
- Negative rating from someone with positive rating
Good luck. To be brutally honest, the reason people need escrow is to avoid risking money with people who have stats similar to yours. Start by making small trades, build some positive rep to outweigh the negative.

Its great you want to offer escrow services, but so does everyone else plus asking for a tip.

Something that others have not mentioned, especially #1 option listed below.

So going back to your actual question, there would be several factors that would consider me a green light.

1. Get a vouch from John K. or another highly credible member w. pass transactions (that you did quite a few for, since he wasnt available at the time or something along in those lines)

OR

2. An actual feedback based on the transaction on more then minimum 20 transactions showing your not just a 1 time person.
