I want to buy some altcoin, but it feels too expensive. Will altcoin stage the trend of zeroing in 2019?

You don't have to buy the expensive coins price if you don't have much money and I think you should buy a cheap price coin because you will have the opportunity to see the price increase later.

Not all altcoin will return to zero in 2109, there still many good altcoins that have potential to increase higher because we have many times to wait for the coming of the bull market.

So the first thing you should do is decide how much money you will use to buy each coin and make sure that you don't buy more than 10 coins because it will be too difficult to manage. It is fine if you only buy 3-5 coins at the same time and you now have a good time to buy those coins before the price start to increase.

they won't fall down to zero that fast, it will take a very long time but it will eventually happen. a great number of them are completely useless and they should not even exist in first place. they are there mostly because some bag holders are still holding on tight until they reach 99% loss and then give up.

you can already visit the bottom of the lists on sites like coinmarketcap to see how shitcoins cling to life with five hands not letting go even when they fall to 1 satoshi and go even lower.

The price of altcoin will never zero, unless the project dies, the case of BitConnect (BCC) is a typical example. You see when BitConnect (BCC) collapsed because of the lending model, they all know it's a fraud project, but the BCC is still being traded. More than half a year later officially no one traded BCC, a fraud project but it was difficult to return to zero so other projects would be very difficult to zero.

Shitcoins will turn zero but not the top altcoins, the money are still on the hands of those investors because they are waiting for the right time. Bitcoin will rise soon because investors will come, patience and focus. The market will not turn to zero, I’m sure about this one don’t panic and have a better focus on buying good coins.

Almost all the crypto currencies were very cheap from their all time high prices so you no need to thing much on investing those altcoins you were mentioned but the chance of recovery is still low with altcoin so invest the money which you can keep holding for very long term.

The ICO price is always different there are some coins that is too expensive and most of the time the price is too low, it is depends on the project development so how do you found out that the price is too expensive? you can scroll for the coin that has low price but ofcourse you need to scan it very carefully for you to know you will be able to earn from it in the future.

If you think altcoins are too expensive now, you should have seen them during their ATHs. Bitcoin may be down 80% from ATH but almost all alts are around 90%, the ones I hold are even around 95%!

So many hundreds have already gone down to 0%, and I tell you, it's not yet over. Think one thing people were right is that this bear period will weed out all the coins with no value and no users, no community and no utility.

i don't think it can happen in 2019 but it will happen for sure, sooner or later. for now there is still hope among newbies that these dead coins revive and whales might pick some of them up and pump the shit out of them to get a good big profit out of them before they let them die for good.

My problem is that because of the liquidity support of the big exchanges, these garbage coin will not return to zero, and I can't open the bull market if I can't gather it with btc.

The alt coin market might go to zero but that does not mean that bitcoin will die in that situations, it will keep on moving forward and nothing can stop it, the entire market is not speculative, there is a base foundation for the coin because of the utility it offers and the businesses that invested billions in the bitcoin market, so a multi billion dollar market will not die just like that.

@OP The alt coin market does not need to be negative during the bitcoin rally, the entire market will rally according to the bull run.

If you think the altcoin price is too expensive then the best thing to do is wait for the market to fall, and if the market moves up then don't regret that you've missed your chance.

yeah that's the problem, there are too many altcoins but it's not a big problem well crypto is laden with oceans with a lots of fish from the small to the biggest. you glance at asking the price back to zero and it's very reasonable altcoin is waiting for bitcoin to climb rise from there Altcoin will definitely return to zero as you wish, but only zero waste is not profitable for investment and that's not 2019

I agree with you that there are lots of altcoins out there that can be invested in, though they look down now but it’s a good time to invest in them since they have reached their lowest value. I think the writer thinks that all the altcoin he is seeing are expensive because he is just entering the market or a newbie, so this is actually the best time to buy now.

For example, I bought docademics (MTC) last year June for around 0.4 usd and now it’s down to 0.006841, I don’t think this type of altcoins is expensive now since it still has potential of rising back and one of the many good coins out there like you rightly said.

We can not know how, where, when. You can not know what time is right, but you should not be late. Just increase the amount of currency in your portfolio with small amounts of money you can afford to lose. Try to get a small amount from every price, because every price may be bottom.

Altcoins mostly the top 10 most popular are already gave a mark on the market. Making it lose to zero value is impossible. The market is still down now and you can still buy because its cheap. If you will wait until it becomes priceless, then you are waiting for nothing. The market is moving and as per the results last week, maybe it is starting to rise.

New users always seem interested in finding "the next Bitcoin" so they can get rich quick.  I suspect the next influx of new users will be no different.  That's why you see heavily marketed coins with huge inflated coin limits, or nonexistent limits, and low prices.  They are actively targeting the ignorant, as there are a lot of people who see Ripple trading at $0.30 and think it's possible for it to one day be the same price as Bitcoin without having any understanding of Market Cap.

It all depends on the price of Bitcoin. If this is not the end of the bear market and prices continue to fall, it is very likely that many of them will fall to the very bottom. If we have a change in the trend at this point, it is possible that this is the last moment for cheap shopping.

Falling to zero, I think it is very alarmist, I really doubt that something like this happens. The low price of some altcoins is due to bitcoin movements, the majority of altcoins depend on Bitcoins, if Bitcoin goes down, the Altcoins go down, if it starts to rise, the altcoins go down and if the bitcoin movement keeps rising it is where the altcoins begin to rise.

It is advisable to wait some time to see how the movement of the market continues, but if you think about investing, you must understand that you need time to take advantage of your investment in whatever altcoin you have chosen to invest.

The Crypto market still has very large supporters, so what you say will not happen. Altcoin in 2019, I think it will develop because throughout 2018 it has had a difficult time. Now you can start from the beginning to make an investment because I am sure if the results are still large.

Those ones that looks expensive are actually the best to buy and I think the ones that are expensive now are the major altcoins, there are still lots of very cheap altcoins out there that you can buy for a  very little usd and get a great value but the credibility of the project should be looked into before purchasing.

Some other altcoin in the market has really fallen compared to last year or when they first did their ICO and I don’t think this bull run as affected any of them yet.

Now itself you can find majority of the altcoins with value going much lower compared to its peak. In simple terms most were valueless, just with the hope of a market boom keeping hold of the altcoins. Maybe someday if the peak price is reached surely it'll get back a good value to the portfolio.

Yes, many altcoins price in the market will soon go down to zero, many persons are still trading those coins because they have no choice as being one of the early adopters of those coins, though there are some altcoins which have great potentials and I know they can't go to zero, this coin include eos, ETH, BITCOINCASH and TRON.

You can also do your research to get more altcoins that will likely not go to zero.

In other words, the current market conditions are really very difficult to guess, whether next they will continue to climb or vice versa. Only speculation is circulating without certainty and only time will answer all that. But if all of us don't give up easily and still believe, a good market future will always await.

I think that we have no other option than to put all our assets for long-term storage. After all, any actions in the cryptocurrency market today will lead to massive losses. Why sell today almost for nothing, if in the future you can get a good profit.

Looking back from 2017, I know a lot of alts I had then that are no longer worth anything now, with time so many alts will be blown away into zeros. Only projects with real use case will stand the test of time. New Tokens are emerging everyday alongside projects. Do your own research and know which alts to bet on for the long term.

Altcoin which is potentially certainly not going to return to zero even though it is of low value. Currently, there are a lot of cheap altcoins but still have a future, IOTA and Vechain are indeed increasing and the OP can hold for a certain period of time and play with caution in order to have profits.

I think in 2015 the current year 2019 is different, the problem is the BTC situation is not like before that there were not so many devotees. but for now, of course there are more btc enthusiasts, and sometimes it also makes big changes to the market, but even though the market changes are big, I am sure that the market will not be worth zero.

Altcoins that have no strong fundamental and good developer will turn to dead/shitcoin the ico in year 2015 are difference to 2019 if you want to invest in cryptocurrency make sure you check the whitepaper to know its goal dont put all your money in one investment it better to split to 2 - 3 altcoin.

I think if all altcoin wouldn't return to zero, maybe some of it yes. But others which have good development always keep steady in market and can't have zero value because demand still always come.

I believed you don't understand the OP statement because he was talking about garbage altcoin which end up varnish off the market altcoin that pump but don't produce much of profit. However, the person who's responsible for the thing was the OP because there are some altcoin which are always a no go area and altcoin which are time wasting just like faucet.
With that been, since the dont know how to select a good altcoin. I will advice the OP to invest  in ETH, XIN, NANO and other decentralized coin that still does well in the market despite the correction.

I think that further declines are still possible, but choosing a project in which we want to invest mainly should be guided by who is behind it and not its price at the moment. If the developers' plans are large and they are credible, then even if the price is high, it will be possible to earn a lot of money in the future.

BTC crashed because it lost utility - LN is not ready and its main layer is not fit for purpose. HODL-ing is a very minor part when you take into account the many things cryptocurrencies can do, and if BTC can't do them, alts will.
Money would return to BTC once it's useful again, and while I don't like where it's heading, I do believe that progress will be made and full-out haters will have to confess that it can do certain things right.
As for alts - complete shitcoins can go to 0, sure, but we have a top 100 of mostly decent coins, in fact I expect them to shine more in 2019.

Why are you calling legit projects garbage? Its clear people put value on these things because they are holding a fair market price.

obviously not "all" the coins are going to zero but a lot of them are. if no coin ever went to zero then instead of about 2500 altcoins that we currently have in the whole market we should have had somewhere around 14000-15000 altcoins.

Not all the altcoins will reach zero value,only the coins without real usage and any development from the project team will let it to zero value so don't invest on any dead coins.

Potential altcoins won’t make their value fall in the coming future if that coin has the guts. If you are choosing a week coin to invest into then you can not expect price doubling in the future.

I used to think like you until I was the victim of these altcoin. I think they were very cheap and started buying, but as a result my assets were reduced by 60% in the next 2 months. For altcoin, I believe they will soon go to zero

not all alts are bad  and not all alts will go to zero  .  other good coins can continue growing  .  anyway , i feel sorry for your loss bro but dont be sad  because that serves as a lesson to you . next time you already know what to do when you see a new coins that has a low value  . the time will come that investors will wake up and they will only choose to invest on well known crypto such as btc and eth .

The useless Altcoin will go to zero or not valuable, but unlike the altcoin that can still grow well, it will continue to live and have good volume.

You should be careful with altcoins - if you will check 2015 coinmarket top of alts it changed almost totally. Most of now existing alts will go to zero, it's a question of the period of planning.
