Post by: The Cryptovator on February 25, 2019, 04:16:09 PM
As far as I know HoweyCoins ANN thread announced by theymos (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3920469.0). But just now noticed from patrol there is new ANN thread announced  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5114185.msg49915477#msg49915477) by coincorp (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2553045) (Archived (http://archive.is/Oibmg)).

coincorp is a brand new account. I can't see any embedded link on the thread as well.

Wondering theymos aware about it ?

I do not think theymos is the "owner" of Howeycoins. Maybe SEC+CIA are the real owners.

But out of curiosity, I do not know if it was explained in the original topic, but Howey Test is a method to determine if a transaction between two parties is considered an investment contract. If its securities. This test was used by the SEC to determine the classification of tokens, ICO and coins. Depending on the outcome of the test by the SEC, the sale of tokens by ICO may be prohibited.

Howeycoins is bitcointalk only token, it's simply a different way of telling everybody that 99% of ICOs are scam.  i don't get where you got the CIA and the SEC things from.
