Title: Somehow tired of bounty/airdrop (share your story on this thread)
Post by: HBKMusiK on February 26, 2019, 01:23:21 AM
As the title implies I am somehow tired of bounties after only 2 years in this "world" : I've been a bounty hunter,(100+ projects), I did more than 700+ airdrops, I've been a translator, content writer..you name it. .When I started everything was working so well(I have to mention that I started doing it with 6 months before the last bull market) and I could get some nice amount of money at the time, I remember that I wanted to do it for my entire life because everyday I learned something new and make a little profit from it.I'm tired because nowadays there are so many scam projects(maybe 90% of them), some fail(maybe 5%) because everyone knows that is very hard to raise money in the bear market and only 5% have a real use, a good team and good project overall and they usually are not doing a bounty. My question for all of you is: Should I continue to look for bounties anymore? (Share your story, feelings, bounty campaign that is worth working for here. )

I have always been tired of bounty and airdrops. The first reward is very small. In fact, the collection process is very complicated. The third practical situation does not have much benefit for the project. And most of them are fraudulent projects :P

First of all, bounty or airdrop is never a job which can be done for lifetime.
Airdrops are nothing but shits nowadays. It's not only because of the scam projects but also the current market is bearish. You should not participate in every bounty or airdrop you get. Rather choose a little one which are real. If you do research, it is easy to find out.

I'm not working anymore for bounty and airdrop. For a while, it took a lot of time in my life. Now I'm only interested in my spare time. By the way I realized I could use the forum even more effectively.

I understand you and I can feel your pain ,I guess its same for many on here ,I'm a newbie on here and I've joined some airdrops since early 2018 ,I never make any penny from the last bullrun because it was too late for me ,I never hold any coins back then so the airdrops experience was a very bad one because on 2% paid and even the 2% lost value in price already ,I think market condition is the devil around here so my advice is don't give up

For me to join airdrops this days I always go through whitepapers and the teams so I won't waste my time ,I only pick out the ones that has something to offer ,many airdrops are just plain rubbish ,in the past I wasted lots of my time joining airdrops and yetim only able to get coins worth of 100$ from projects like snapparzzi ,miracletele ,avinoc ,etc airdrops pays but too many fakes so its left for you to select good ones

You should go and continue doing bounty but don't make it full time. Make it only your side job. In that way,  you have a secure income and your bounties is just an additional to your income

Well, people is tired about the bounty and the airdrop because they have just wasted their times on working on their laptop.

I understand you so well. It's not just your unlucky or misfortune guy. It seems the problem here is your choices probably. Many bounty are keep sprouting and relying on new ICOs but these projects have different tendency as it goes forward. Some are just to trick you guys and some are legit. Maybe youre joined campaign isn't that strong enough. Im just joining signature campaign and so far maybe 2 or 3 projects that I worked on didnt pay. The rest are all good.

I really don't know what to contribute other than saying market condition is to be blame ,there are still few good airdrops and bounties I've came across this year alone ,if you know how to spot good projects then you will have no problem ,remember that the moment you decide to leave is the moment good bounties/airdrop will pass you by,if market condition turn a new leave then all those worthless airdrops tokens and bounties tokens will worth something again

I understand how you feel, you are backing out because of the bear market and you earn anything again. I am glad you mentioned those days when you earned something good from bounty. Some days might not be like that. You can choose to quit or continue.  I cant fortel how it will happen or what will happen

Well, people is tired about the bounty and the airdrop because they have just wasted their times on working on their laptop.

You haven't smell the taste of bounty/aitdrop it's not about wasting time just to remind you the market price value plays a vital role at this moment else there is a separate group called bounty hunters. Yes most of the scammers disastered the reputation of bounties and a lot of ICO failed to reach the soft cap. I am sure it will bounce back again for sure.

Thanks for the encouraging words ,on my own part I always choose good projects only due to past experience when I always join any airdrops blindly and only few ones pay me in the end and infact the value is so low and since then i joined only good ones ,the fact is market condition is whats affecting us all but at the same time if you join working projects only and your payout is very low in value always have it at the back of your mind that if market take a new turn today they will be worthful

I am tired of airdrop, maybe almost a year never participated into airdrop. For bounty I still have a high spirit to participate because I think if you make a good choice you can have a good rewards. All we have to do is improving our analytic about their ico to make  good choice which one we should participate.

Market conditions are not good currently, that will change. I don`t participate in any airdrop, I`m more fun of bounties and in years participating I just
had one bad bounty that just disappeared in the end of campaign. That was VTOS! Remember that name!
I didn`t lose faith, now I`m even more strict when I`m choosing bounty campaign to join. Now I believe I`m in very good bounty, and I think there will
be more good bounties in the future.

Yes, agree with your points, I think the best year for bounty hunter is 2017, currently it's really tired while most of the them become scam project and finally just waste our time to do the jobs, I think main reason is market unstable, as your post said that you're also content writer and translator, just focus in this two campaign.

I agree. The majority of these coins that are popping up are just spinoffs or clones of a coin with no effort put into making it useful. Then a shady exchange hosts it for a week while everyone dumps on users who don't know any better. It's frustrating to say the least.

It's no doubt that bounties and airdrops has drastically become a failure. Honestly, I feel so bad hearing stories of these scam projects that use hunters and airdrops just to promote their scam. It's really so bad.

There are two types of bounty hunters.
1. Those left bounty campaigns because they didn´t see quick and easy money.
2. Those really believe in the future of cryptocurrency, they didn´t care about quick money, but about potentional future profit.

I believe in this market. 95% of bounty hunters care about money. They only look for projects that give them money quickly, and of course there will be no project to do that. So now most people have given up bounty hunters

There is no such thing as quick money in crypto ,many new investors and bounty hunter was carried away by 2017 profits so they though it will always be the same every single year, well this is for you , you guys entered crypto at the good time and the good time has passed so the other side is around now and you guys lost your endurance ,let's all make cryptocurrency survive ,not make money out of it and stop using it,usability is what will keep crypto alive

I got tired on bounty campaign coming from ICO that is the reason I shift to Bitcoin casino campaign, it's not worth doing a campaign at this point of time, one of the campaigns I've done I only managed to earn $5 after 3 months of a campaign I think majority of the bounty hunters has this issue also.

Yes, it is not worth it for us to participate in the bounty during this period. We will waste a lot of time and will not get anything from bounty. The most recent campaign I participated in was at the end of August 2018 and until now I still haven't received a token from that project

Well for bounties mostly you're get tokens from icos and it's very seldom that these tokens have high value after their release. And sometimes the ico dies before getting into an exchange. It's a gamble unless the bounty includes certain amounts of btc or eth along with the tokens.

700 airdrops and 100 bounties are huge amount!
However you still here and try to promote a project.
Unfortunatelly you right. At the moment the most bounties\airdrops is scam. But bear market will not be forever and great times will become

I am really disappointed after working for bounty campaigns I was rewarded with bulk tokens but the value of the token was just 15 to 20 dollars now which is really sad to see. After all hardworking it failed to prove its best as the crypto value is very cheap is the major cause for the downfall.

It seems many people already tired in participating in bounty and airdrop campaign. If there is a good market I think many bounty participants will keep on participating bounty campaign. Sometime I get tired in posting but I have goal in this year where I need to earn 10 eth so I will not get tired anymore and I will choose good campaign where I can earn huge amount of money.

Sure is tiring but you have just to look for something that intrigues you.
Something that you will support even if they have already paid you and the exchange is enough for the amount of work that you have done.
Then, that's it.
You will go back to the way you are from the first time you made profit out of it.
It aint about bounty payments anymore.
More of like supporting them will enhance the capability of your supported project to go way far than what you just expect.

I am glad I was focus on airdrop and bounty last year and didn’t use my spare time focus on trading, because I could lose all my money without good knowledge with trading. I didn’t make big profit with bounty, but I also didn’t lose money either. It is hard to find a good project and I did waste a lot of time last year with bounties tasks, that why I don’t want to join too many bounties this year, I would do more research before I select a bounty.

Bounty either can make huge profits for you or it won't give any rewards, only people who are doing multiple bounties can survive here and now bounties totally becomes shit but in 2017 I have a friend who nearly made half a million of dollars by doing multiple bounties throughout that year.

You are right from many points of view, I promoted many projects that promised a lot of good things in crypto market, take for example CargoCoin, they had a really nice hype around then in the ico period, many partnerships etc, now after the ico their ceo is online only when he shows us new "listing" (very very bad exchanges with super low volume), they didn't have a community manager like they use to have in ico period, total fail, this can be seen in many and many projects, they only care about the funds they raise then fly away with the money. Btw, even the project you are promoting seem to be a scam, references here: https://shitcoinoffering.com/african-kids-aks-663-million-bucks-scam-sto-bolton-coin/?utm_source=Reddit&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=STO

I have similar feelings but personally i will not quit but i will try to promote only legit and quality projects according to my analysis atleast, to be honest the bounty market has been the worst in last one year i can tell you that if i had participated in 20 campaigns then i have received reward in 4 to 5 campaigns only and that too after working for 3 to 6 months for each camoaign and the reward received too was either worthless or very small value so yes i know how you are feeling but i guess this can change anytime as crypto market is soon going to recover and then become unstoppable.

I stopped doing airdrops fro ICOs but I still participate in airdrops done on crypto exchanges.
I've cut down on bounties as well. I ditched social media campaigns and only focused on signature campaigns on various forums.

It is up to you if you wish to continue, if you feel exhausted then you might as well take a few weeks break. You may also want to enhance your trading knowledge during your airdrop/bounty break.

Sorry for being fussy but I simply cant believe these stories, moreover during 2017. Worst year ever.
OP is the best example, seven hundred projects and only few proved to be something useful, only this small percentage was profitable for him and think how much time it took. Most likely it wasn't worth the trouble, quite significant portion of his life wasted on stupid, spammy telegram groups, chats etc. I have very similar experience, only my sample group is much smaller.
Some hope was put in to KYC, it was believed that it can change something, that dumpers will become less likely to "infest" bounty groups, it obviously failed and nothing has changed. Probably never will but I truly want to be wrong.

I don`t have much experience in bounty campaigns. I was part of only one, few months ago, and it didn`t work well. The project was unsuccessful, we didn`t get any reward.
I know that my very close friend had some success participating some bounties but that was year ago.
Since this is my second bounty campaign, I really hope that it will be successful. The project behind it looks great. Maybe it is bit stupid, talking about my campaign but it is a stable coin project, backed and supported by Swiss Franc. That makes me pretty comfortable, I think that it will work just fine. For us, bounty participants and for the project itself.

I know it's hard to earn large amount of money from bounty campaign at the moment but it doesn't mean impossible. You have to spend more time as usual to find out good bounty to join while in bullrun market at the end of 2017, you guys just need to pick a random bounty then you guys still could earn a lot from it. But it's not the same at the moment, spend more time and be patient

Many bounty hunters here don't have any other things to do, so even if they are tired, i believe they would continue to do the bounty, if not airdrops. As i have never been in favor of airdrops.

Since the start of the bearish market, I stopped collecting airdrops it doesn't give me anything after all and most of it was a shit coin that keeps stacking on my wallet. I think it is just by chance that you will get a great bounty or airdrop that would give you a good profit in return. But airdrop these days doesn't seem to be a good way of earning profit it is just a waste of time IMO.

Choose carefully the projects and you will be happy.Yes bounty is not a job with a monthly salary, but all very good extra income.Work harder and earn more.Maybe I'm not tired of bounty because I only participate in the signature company, but who has more free time why not participate in more bounty programs? You may be tired for 2 years and you should just relax. And then again get to work. Do not give up.

I still participate in the bounty campaigns and I believe that I will get most of the rewards that I expect. As for airdrops, I can say that now I very rarely participate in them. Last year, I participated in a huge number of airdrops but they didn't bring me anything, except for an infinite number of unnecessary telegram channels, on which it was necessary to subscribe.

I took me a lot of time to complete all the bounties but now I realized that maybe is was not in vain.I learned a lot from this experience about smart contracts, exchanges, partnerships and so on and I'm thinking to start my own community token project. This idea was stuck in my mind for a long time, is there somebody that would like to be the team of a new cryptocurrency, we can share ideas, plan the development, I would love to know what you are looking mainly in a community coin.I want to start everything from scraps since I don't have a huge amount of money, I'm thinking to distribute a huge percent of it to the community and create it with a voting system(the users can decide what is the future of the token) if somebody is interested or have any opinion about it please reply in the thread or contact me in pm.

Most of the bounty hunter are tired with it. But don't lose your hope too early. Crypto came to stay, so try to use to with the bear market and keep doing hard works. I don't think 90% of projects are a scam, some good projects are still available but they are not making enough money or they are afraid to give payment to bounty hunters because of the dump! But, trust me, everything will be fine, again! Just keep calm and focus on your work and stop looking at the price. I recommend you, try to find 10 good bounty projects and start hard work for them, and also stop doing 50-60 bounties at a time.

When I started in this world, I participated in a good project, where I had no idea how the market was moving, my thought was always optimistic, if it goes down a little, that will increase ... There were many people with more experience than me, but not in the market as operators, this was November 2017, just when Bitcoin began its bullish phase, in fact, I can not accumulate many coins, if it reached 500 coins it was enough, others people had around 18k, 20k .. I started when they were worth 1 USD and the maximum value reached 20k, and I realized that all, most were not merchants, because they did not sell! They faithfully believed that the price should continue rising. After the market fell, and the currency crashed than 1 USD.

This led me to read many books in which I learned that the phases of the market are very clear (Accumulation, Trend, Distribution). Now, in this general phase of the market, we are in the accumulation. If you have currencies whose prices must be very low, you should now more than ever keep them, and wait for the market to recover, I am sure that your coins will also do so.

for me it's simple.
I've always used this forum, with or without signature's campaing.

Ok, i "waste" some time to find the right one, but after that, my effort is the same: i... just post :D

I have no social, so, this forum is the only way to collect bounty for me.

We are in the same boat and this is because of the current market condition and the so many spam and scam ICO proliferation, I also started doing a lot of campaign when the crypto and ICO are in all time high but after the market drop I hardly made a good income, but there are still a lot of good campaign one of them is the one I'm in right now, it's not an ICO..

Well, people is tired about the bounty and the airdrop because they have just wasted their times on working on their laptop.

As at 2017 bounties and airdrops were means to get rich quick due to the status of the market at then, but for now the market has not recover and the bounties and airdrops amount to nothing for now but hopefully they rise as the market recover.

I started participating in bounties from it's onset and to tell you the truth, it is not same now as it is then.
We have a lot of of bounties now than then, but it looks as if we are now making less money than we were making at the time bounty first started which should not be the case.

This is happening because 95% of bounties been carried are just going to distribute shitcoins which we the participants have wasted most of our time promoting for them.

Most so called ETH token airdrops are a scam, or run by people who just can't sell the projects, so the value you though you cut get from the airdrop will not match your expectations. I didn't start to do bounties before  2018, so I can't compare payment from 2017 with now. But even in 2019 you can still be lucky to find projects that will pay you decent salary for your work.

Some of this forms are even a way to get people data for something else in disguise of crypto airdrop form, so I stopped it.

Yes, you are absolutely right. The 2017 year was great for the Airdrop, Bounties, ICOs and for everyone. Many people made huge money within a short time, that was because of the market condition was exceptional good. But right now, crypto industry passing the hardest time, so Good Airdrop, Bounty projects are very rare!

It’s normal to feel low motivation towards bounties and airdrops because the market is down and there are no profits presently

But looking further forward, there are good projects just dyor and join good bounties
Like hyperbridge, serve etc

Yea it's very tiring when you are working and seeing little or nothing out of it but my advice to you is to restrategize, there are still very good projects out there that still pays, you just have to dig deeper. I haven't given up on bounties but airdrop is a waste of precious time

Looking for good bounties is like digging the land for a gem. Bad market conditions don't let market to breathe and bounty rewards also follow this trend. Just price can determine the profitability of bounty before project get listed on exchange. Hope bull market will hit markets than we expect and bounty rewards will be normal only after this event.

I have collections of shitcoins from bounties and airdrops which I cannot even sell for some of the coins do not even have any value and some are dead already, the project from where the coins belong do not exist, some just did not turn out successful. A year and a half ago I tasted a good amount of profit from translations and even form social media and signature but now  :P :-\. maybe now you think that you don't get something worthy of all the effort you have made, but did you know that one day the amount of dollars you have will increase? because the price is very volatile, then you still tend to get something more, for example when your wallet contains a lot of coins but if you convert it into dollars then the amount is only a few dollars, maybe you will be disappointed but actually you can still get a larger amount because we don't know how much the coins might cost

My airdrop and bounty experience is not any different. Currently, my wallet is full of shits that have no market value. Initially I was hopeful that someday there will worth something good but that expectation seem not forthcoming and so I decided to pedal down for the main time. That is not to say that there are no good airdrops and bounties anylonger but very scanty. It's better to spot good ones to avoid unecessary waste of time

Anyone who has done over 700 airdrops and 100 bounties would feel tired. I am not sure about the number but I've also joined many airdrops/bounties and I also realized that many of them won't take off.

our experience is definitely not much different, because maybe we might follow some of the same bounty projects.
for example, I joined a signature campaign for a project that I am currently participating in, but in other campaigns such as creating content or social media, we might be joined in the same project.

therefore the current experience is definitely not much different, we more often waste time working on projects that do only fraud. right?

I think the only thing that can keep us here now is the belief that the tokens that we are now earning will grow significantly in price after the start of the new bull run. You are not alone and I am familiar with a lot of bounty hunters who have decided to leave their job until the market recovers again. But maybe right now we have a chance to find the pearl, which in time will become a new BTC or ETH.

I have started doing bounties October of 2017. I joined different campaigns like signature, facebook, twitter, etc. There are times that I didn't get any tokens and that is normal already. Some campaigns give me but it is small amount only. Lucky I joined translation campaign and if I'm lucky, the ICO will pay me huge amount of tokens that I can sold at various exchanges.

Aside from doing different campaigns, I'm finding a signature campaign in Services where they are paying in Bitcoin. I know that joining in signature campaigns that pays tokens has risk because there is a chance that they will not pay you that is why I find a signature campaign in Services section. Luckily I found one (my current sig. campaign) and when I got accepted, I stopped what I'm doing in different campaigns because I feel tired too and time wasting for me.

the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin, vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3028302.0... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

IMO, if you're really tired of joining bounty/airdrop so you should find another way to earn money in cryptocurrency world and with this bear market, I think trading is the best choice. For now, joining bounty or investing in ICO project are not good anymore, it's too difficult to earn large amount of money by these old ways but trading is still a really good way to earn.

I was a person who likes to take part in bounty and also airdrop. but after a few months I did it, I seemed to be bored. the reason I stopped following the bounty and airdrop was because of uncertain pay, some even got a scam.
I think that following a bounty and also airdrop is just a waste of time, because the payment is not worth it.
but that does not mean I speculate that bounty and airdrop have a negative image, because only in part people or parties do negative things.

Bounty and airdrop are almost the same why I say so is because once a project failed or succeede either you took part in they bounty programs or airdrop with become what the result of the project is and your profits depends on the outcome of the project, so giving up is not an option just pray to come across good and legit project. But in all bounty is not a job so don't take it as your lifetime business.

yes, to deal with the bear market is a little tiring especially if we are trying our luck in the hunter world, because many projects delay or even reduce our allocation because of this or not lapse but make gradual payments every month and it is quite tiring for me but time cannot be changed for bounty hunters who undergo a bounty at the beginning of 2017 must have felt the golden age and for the current conditions we are indeed in a state of decline, my suggestion is to keep following the bounty but if you feel tired better choose a few bounty 1-5 projects enough

I have joined many ICO projects and i have always joined in scam projects several times. I am also sick off it that i always waste a lot of time on it and not having any rewards from it. It is really unfair that there are also campaigns who also distribute tokens very late and still don't have exchanges. This is the reasons why many people start to quit in participating in ICO projects because they always waste a lot of money and energy to it.

We hope that the ico glory will come back again where we can earn after doing some task in the campaign. I remember in the past if you join on different campaign with different task their value become big but not like today that some tokens almost got no value at all after hitting exchange or the price drop quickly. I hope this year and following year will be different for us.

Every bounty Hunter should know that the beauty of bounties are tied to ICOs and since the fall of ICOs, bounties have also been hit critically hard. These days, ICOs don't raise much funds, this had led to a very poor reward for bounties. On the other hand, airdrops ends up giving you tons of shitcoins ( I still have a lot of them laying around). Best bet is if you had raised a tangible amount to go into trading.

the market also sometimes makes me a little bit discouraged, every time I see the price of my enthusiasm immediately goes down.

The annoying thing is the airdrop/bounty program that implemented the KYC system. I avoid it because I was afraid my personal data was stolen.

The boring thing is too many scam bounty program that did not pay bounty participants (of course, including me). Since March 2018 till now, I haven't enjoyed anything from my hard work so far in the bounty program that I followed. This makes me rarely participating in the bounty program.

if talking about boredom is of course because for one year I've never gotten anything when I finished joining bounty but we must not give up to gather more when market is in it's current state maybe with a coin hold we get from bounty will give us a lot when market has grown again

I agree with the author of the theme,of course, now the mood is terrible, the situation on the market too.You can try to make a small pause, just relax. And then back to the crypt.I think this period just needs to wait out and everything will return to normal

I am not tired of bounty because I don't join a shit campaign. I always do my best research and join later. If you do so, there's nothing to get tired. Choose only the best project for your bounty task, don't join each and every bounty you get without any research. It will be waste of your time.

You can sell your skills alone and get paid with bitcoin or dollars depending on the platform you use.

but in 2017 I have a friend who nearly made half a million of dollars by doing multiple bounties throughout that year.
Seriously? what bounty your friend has been doing?

Thats true . back on 2017 most airdrops and bounties are paying and the coins that you will recieve are already have a value  .  i also earn alot of cash back then by only doing an airdrops   but unfortunately the fun has come to an end because in the beginning of 2018 up to this date  ,  most airdrops and bounties ( also cryptos )  are not really profitable anymore   .  but lets not end our journey here   .  i know that is is only a start because cryptos are not yet popular  .

What airdrop I know that seems to be good was Hydro and I know that many have earned that much with that airdrop.

2017's one of the best year but earning that much, seems unrealistic.

I will advise you not to give up on bounty buddy, I believe one day, it will pay off, use the history of bitcoin to encourage yourself, a lot of people got tired of holding it and even lost their wallet address and codes but years later, it paid off for those that believed in it a big time. Hence, the same way is bounty, if you stop now, the coin that might really make you smile might still be planning on their ICOs and how do you take advantage of it if you give up now.

Please continue and don’t miss your opportunities.

What if he doesn’t have any knowledge of trading, or are you surprised that not everyone doing bounty knows how to trade ? There is no relationship between both, except he wants to commit another 6 months of his time learning to trade and one to year to perfect it, the question is what will he be doing if he leaves the bounty, the best he can do is to start learning it now if you strongly advise him for it and still be hunting bounty at the same time. He can use one stone to kill two birds.

Undoubtedly participating in bounties has stopped being profitable for several months, in the same way that the entire sector seems to have entered into a deep crisis that makes foreseeable the disappearance of the ICOs as they have existed up to now; therefore, it is advisable to remain vigilant to observe what direction this business is heading once the bubble seems to have exploded and the euphoria for the ICOs seems to be a thing of the past.

Yes, 2017 is the best year for sure, but half of the million dollars can be possible only if they run bounty with multi accounts. Now, all bounty programs ruined because of too much fake, bot accounts.

Yes, most of the bounties are now being seen as no help at all. Most of them are turning into a scam and very low project so people aren't looking to it anymore. For 2017, most of them became successful and whatever that guy did to reach half million dollars through bounty, I just can't believe that he was able to raise that kind of amount through that. Multiple bounties and probably sold those coins and tokens at the all time high which sums up to half million bucks.

I feel you and i relate much with you. We have the same experience and now I am losing hope in bounties anymore. I'm looking for something more interesting and profitable as a side job now and t the same time enjoyable.
I hadn’t thought before that to participate in airdrop I had to create a new wallet. Now unnecessary coins occupy half of the wallet.

(Share your story, feelings, bounty campaign that is worth working for here. )

It's better to spot good ones to avoid unecessary waste of time
I have a friend who sold coins from airdrop for $ 1000. But this can happen once in 10,000. Most of these coins are worth nothing.

don't feel sad, stories like you have also been felt by almost everyone who joined crypto, a scam project that you found must also be found by other people including me.
this is unavoidable, we cannot control it. One of the solutions to make our money secure is to have a job other than crypto, so we make crypto a side job.

It is not that even if I received reward I could have sold it.
Many projects didn't reach softcap and fail.
No one wants tokens of fail projects, why should anyone they are worthless.

I did stop looking for bounty in December to have a time to assess things and it turns out that even that it's very hard to earn good rewards in this bear market, there is no place that can offer me the same as what I get in doing bounties before so I don't have a choice but to do it again this March.

those are plausible with having multiple bounty task.
On the current situation of the market most bounties are already trash.

Most bounty hunters are actually disappointed with the actual market situation, and the lack of promising ICO projects. It is really hard nowadays to find a solid project which really have some potential, and the risk of getting scammed or receiving worthless tokens becomes higher.

You are tired because you have mostly spent your time joining the bounty only. I am not tired because I spent my time researching, not in joining. Don't join hundreds of bounty, better research and join 1 only. It will pay you better than 100 projects.

He might realized that he do still need to engage himself on bounty to make some money later on. lol.

Btw,on the current situation on most projects as of now, it cant really be avoided that you wont really stop due to success rate is lower compared on previous years where you do end up
on having no salary or money at all in the end.Signature campaigns that do pay up Btc and Eth will be much worthy of our time.

I can totally relate with your story line. You have taken the time to pour out your heart and I know that almost every hunter, if not all faces this.
Sometimes, you might feel that you have what it takes to identify a good project, but at the end, it turns out to be something else.
So it takes extra effort to find a good and legit project with good use case.

We have the same experience and because of this, I shifted to Stake.com where I get to paid Bitcoin weekly instead of waiting for months with uncertainty if the token you are promoting will have value at all, bounty hunting ICO is not profitable anymore just like they used to be and I'm afraid there will be a time that there will be no more bounty hunters to promote these ICO's.

I abandoned airdrops around February last year after I discovered that it doesn't  worth much and though I have received some tokens from airdrops it is not easy to sell them.  I think I have not done bounty either for more than six months now because the last bounty I did for both signatures,  facebook and twitter campaign did not pay me well.  And some of them has closed icos for the past one year now but there are not listed in any exchanges.  Some of them in fact has been abandoned and others has been turned to scam.

we all feel the same way about bounty campage and airdrop, we are disappointed because maybe some of us are vacuuming for months without activity and some of them are still active, but not like before.
I was also active a few days ago after some time ago I thought we would not know the development of cryptocurrency if we left this forum and not all projects scam, fail, and pay us with their worthless tokens.

Unfortunately you're right with your sentiments, most of projects are just a waste of time thus its hard to continue being a bounty hunter because in the end all your effort wont be paid off.

Last year I already stopped participating in airdrops its not really worth it although its a simple task. I have many shitcoins in my wallet that I accumulated from airdrop and it didnt even had the chance to be listed in any exchanges.

But despite all the bad experiences I dont lose hope still, we just need to find a good project that has a genuine goal and useful coin.

These are the reasons too why i quit on bounty hunting yet rewards arent assured and even if you do get the token most of them have no really value
at all which would leave you have no money or profit on the hard work you have done for a project.

It would be better to stick out on joining signature campaigns that do pay out btc where it is somehow give you guaranteed payments
even though its small but it is much more better.

your right  . sig campaigns that pays in btc are more worth it because they pay are oftenly sure compare to bounty or airdrops but the only downside is the pay on btc campaigns are somehow small and i think this also the reason on why many users still prefer to chose bounty even if they know that bounty is pretty risky  but as the saying said  " high risk means higher rewards "  which was verry true indeed   .   i was once an airdrop enthusiasts but i stopped doing them since last year because i  also notice that i dont recieve alot of coins and if ever i recieved some  , those coins can either be useless  ( or no value ) and some can have a litte to less value   .

I would rather prefer to receive small amounts but somehow guaranteed rather than going for those high payout/profits but high risk on not receiving or gaining anything.

Me too, once a bounty hunter but I completely stop long time ago when I'm not already earning good and most of the times the projects I have joined turn out to be scammed.Due to frustration I decide to quit completely.

we all feel the same way about bounty campage and airdrop, we are disappointed because maybe some of us are vacuuming for months without activity and some of them are still active, but not like before.
I was also active a few days ago after some time ago I thought we would not know the development of cryptocurrency if we left this forum and not all projects scam, fail, and pay us with their worthless tokens.
I just make a conclusion with what you say, so you just active in this forum only if your account joined in bounty campaign or signature campaign? You won't get anything if your goal is money/profit. You may won't know the character of the project because you just see this project is scam or this project is legit. It will be good if you try with yourself because there are some ways to find project scam like this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5004397.0 and you may won't know the latest information if you active just for make a comment. Find the knowledge first and you will anything.

Tired because increasing number of scam ICO's is normal because currently to find legit projects who will give decent amount of money became too hard and i think every bounty hunter feel such as that but don't expect more or to make living from this jobs because with unpredictable salary you even cannot feed your family from bounty earnings and don't only see this forum for earnings money because besided that plenty of knowledges related to crypto you can get from this forum

The faith in bounty campaigns was restored for me with my participation in ANY campaign, for a 2 week campaign I received 380k tokens = 320$, so I will continue to search for good campaigns, if you find one don't hesitate to reply here or pm me.

Is this the campaign you're talking about? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5126333.0

Seems like their buy order is very low atm. You got very lucky imo, as you can see that 1 BTC is enough to cause this coin to dumped really hard (assuming everyone dumps their tokens asap). https://www.coinexchange.io/market/ANY/BTC

A decent campaign that I know recently is Veil. However, there are too many participants on that campaign at the moment, so even if you were accepted, the chance to get a decent amount of Veil is probably small. The coin is currently being traded on several exchanges, and last time I checked they were rated at $0.2 or so per coin. Not a bad price.

Yes, this is the bounty I participated in and I decided to take profits. They had simple exchange opened for a few days (exchange the coins directly for btc), Veil seem like a nice project right now, thank you for your suggestion but I am mainly focused on translation campaigns and they don't have my language included.

Yes im tired of doing bounties because of not recieving payments for almost 6 months, but the truth is bounty campaigns is my way to provide the needs of my family, payments coming from bounty campaigns is a good source.of.extra income. So i wont give up in joining bounties.

I have the same feelings. Also i have a feeling that we are in era of IEO and they don't need any bounties. But if i see really good project and it has bounty i am joining it. But it is rarely now.

So far I have seen projects carrying out the IEO on the market or pre-sales, for a long time they usually held bounty campaigns.
But if not, I think that might have a negative impact on sales. Because that can cause few investors to know.

That's very unfortunate. Things have changed and getting reward in a bounty is like having a 1% chance out of 100. I'm also still trying my luck but I'm not that enthusiastic as before because it's painful whenever I realize my 3-5 months of hardwork and spending almost 2 hours just to make all my posts decent but it was ll for nothing.

You only spend two hours of posting for your bounty ?  How much post did you make on that time frame ? I hope you arent post bursting but bounties arent strict as campaign that pays in bitcoin but anyways i feel you both , because the glow of bounties and airdrops are instantly faded  over the past two year course  . i stop doing airdrop for a while, i think i will comeback soon when i obtain good information about their comeback  .

The process where by you do a bounty for a very long period of time and no much reward,  paying in pennies and some of the project ended up being a scam brings about discouragements in doing other bounty,  I know lots of bounties that I've done in the past that ended up paying pennies or scammed

Personally I am also tired of participating in bounties, and not only because of the difficulty that means currently obtaining good profits from it, but because after a couple of years of being involved in this type of activities I have found that everything is very repetitive and mentally exhausting, especially when you realize you need to do twice as much work as before to get less than half of what you used to earn.

Fortunately, I was able to invest some of my profits adequately in the good times of the bounties and today I do not feel as much pressure for profit as in the beginning.

In my whole bitcointalk experience, I have only had 1 bad bounty experience,,, where the campaign paid me once, but never for the next few weeks of my posts. Then,,, I spent many months with 1 bounty manager who through no fault of their own the 2 projects until today are not listed, and never reply any of our messages. That I do not consider bad, it was just a learning.

But in between all those, I only signed up for those services I really enjoy and use. This means I did not jump in and out of campaigns, I just stayed with them until they ended,,, or I did not have one for months until I found one I liked.

So if you want higher than 1% chance of rewards, you have to change your mindset.

Well, you will have to accept the fact that bounty hunting does not guarantee you anything. Right from the get-go, the campaign you are jumping into may or may not succeed at all. So you are basically aware that all the efforts you will exert may simply end up into the garbage bin. Especially when it comes to airdrop, don't expect any good that will come out of it.

As far as my experiences are concerned, a great many of them ended up as learning experiences to scrutinize more the campaigns I wish to be part of. Add to it the fact that campaigns nowadays are not as vibrant as it was in 2017 or earlier. And scams are really getting out of control.

You said one shouldn't Expect any good to come out of airdrops, you think airdrop is that bad? I joined data token airdrop and make 70$ out of it this year ,same as blockstamp airdrop which is now 1$ per coin and I have 250 blockstamps which is 250$ from airdrop friend,I think its all about choosing skills,I join airdrops that are already trading only

It's because you didn't check the dev properly before joined to them. Joining in bounty campaign especially with new token as payment has big risk you cna get scammed. You never know when the token will be worth or at least be able to trade on market. Better to stay away from any of new token bounty

How many accounts did you used to cheating those bounties? There is no way you can earn such only through 1 account and 1 airdrop

dont blame the guy . cant you see he is still tryin his best  . you dont know how it feels to hunt a bounty or what if the guy is busy and he cant make a research ? or maybe he is just simply lack of knowledge when it comes to bounties  but nothing wrong in trying  . we can consider it as playing a gambling , he will earn if he is lucky and loose if badluck strikes  .

it is possible . infact his earnings is small compare to other big earners out there that also do airdrops and bounties . if im not mistaken i did earn about 1k usd worth of coin when i joined an airdrop but im kinda bit busy now and i cant seem to be lucky anymore on getting high paying airdrops  .

I never blame him, just tell whats my opinion. What's the point if you will get nothing after you promoted them? It would be better to join only in 100% paid bounty rather than trying your luck

Stop blaming the market and start supporting real projects. The scam projects will die out if we as bounty hunters stop supporting them. It is all in our hand's guys. We are in control of who we support.
I think most bounty hunters will just look at the bounty thread and not even at the website or Ann thread. You just cannot assume that every project will be a success.
