Edit: Sorry Ninja!! I didn't see your post before replying. Honestly I just thought it was a demerit type of situation. Your Uber merit detective work though looks more correct. Not trying to sling spam just trying to help. I had no idea the merit system was under such abuse symptoms. Not anymore. That's clear abuse, awarding merit for political reasons rather than any idea of quality. Only because he was a source, I effectively undid those merit sends. Beyond that, the individual negated merit transactions weren't important.

It would be interesting to see that on a topic that was not self-moderate. Perhaps using the same Id as the original positive TX would make tracking clearer. - The original sender still counts as having sent those positive sMerits (from A->B), although they were cancelled through (Bitcointalk Forum)’s negative TXs.
