Why this "bitcoin craiglist" is better than the original one? If someone is selling a car via craiglist then he can just mention BTC (or any other crypto) as one of the payment methods.
For some reason, people are opening "crypto friendly" services that use only with crypto. We shouldn't create a separate crypto world. We need to integrate BTC into the existing one.

Now the problem is, are people really using bitcoin to buy from those companies? If you would like to buy a car for example and you have fiat money would you exchange that for bitcoin and use it to buy the car so this way you can help the market? On one hand, this is good PR for Bitcoin, it shows the non-believers and whatnot that bitcoin can function very well as form of payment. This will have a snowball effect in the long run, it's a matter of time before other industries begin to adopt bitcoin. On the other hand, I don't think there's a high demand for purchasing cars with btc, but every bit of positive news is welcomed, especially if it's about adoption.

these things are usually so small and are only limited to some car dealerships not the big companies and not on bigger scale that can matter. and most of them are doing it as a way of promoting their business and make more money by attracting more people to their business. which is why usually these things don't have that much of effect on bitcoin or its adoption.

Just so that people have an idea about this massive adoption, the news mentioned 20 dealerships that are accepting BTC in the US. Impressive, if you don't count the fact that there are (according to NADA) 16 000 franchised and 20 000 independent dealerships in the US.
That means less than 0.05% of the dealerships are accepting cryptos.
And probably 1% of the cars they sell are for cryptos.

The bright side....we have a lot of growth to look for :D

Agree, bitcoin adoption will help it to be more acceptable for othet countries to be known... Bitcoin transactions are more faster than the ordinary one... It is also easy to work out.. This is really a good news.. Having an industry that adopts bitcoin transactions.. Hoefully more merchants will use bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies for future use...

Agreed just imagine how much bitcoin trading volume, car dealership transactions will add to the Bitcoin chart. Cars are not cheap, also another thing to keep in mind is big companies are trusting Bitcoin for large transactions. It takes a lot of trust in the bitcoin network to consider selling a car for bitcoin. This is great news that companies are willing to trust bitcoin for large transactions, keep in mind these are some big dealerships and many of them are when licensed by major manufacturers. Everyonr should also understand, the manufacturers dont need to accept bitcoin. The dealerships is where the cars are sold. No one goes to a factory to buy a car. They go to their local car dealership.

Bitcoin spreading across all sectors of the economy is no longer a shocking news to me as I continue to see different sectors of the economy adopting its usage every now and then. Just recently J.P Morgan talked about coming out with their own cryptocurrency JPM. I have also heard rumours of samsung and facebook trying to bring out theirs too (though not yet confirmed). The automotive industry is a big industry and I knew it won't take long before they adopt the use of bitcoin. I am glad such thing is happening which is good for the bitcoin community. 2. Beepi, in 2014, the company of car announced to accept BTC transactions and other digital currencies.
3. WordPress, one of these big platforms, chooses to receive transactions with BTC or other digital currencies.
4. Samsung, and HTC, these two big companies adopted BTC, not only received BTC, but their products supported features for the crypto world. like storing digital assets and mining.

Honestly, I do not just want to buy a car with Bitcoin. I want to be able to use a built-in Crypto currency wallet into the car to pay for parking fees, when I visit my local Mall or when I park on the street. We have seen a giant move towards a Cash-less society and being able to do this, will definitely push Crypto currency adoption.  8)
