https://beta.polyshield.online is proud to announce, the launch of their beta web platform! The service provides multiple crypto related services, the start of which, will be: - Stakepool - Masternode sharing platform - another service is in planning phase and will be announced shortly POLYSHIELD stakepool is fully functioning now! The first service of the platform is launching for beta use. Stakepool supports only a couple coins to start, but will add more as time goes on. SUGGESTIONS ACCEPTED FOR NEW COIN ADDITIONS. Reach out for more information. The Discord server for POLYSHIELD specifically, is being created, and will be announced soon. REGISTRATION INFO In order to register on POLYSHIELD, a user needs to utilize the 'proof of polytimos' anti-bot registration system (built by POLYSHIELD) This service utilizes transactions on the polytimos blockchain, to verify that a user is indeed a real person. In order to execute a registration and obtain an account on POLYSHIELD, user must send 10 (or more) coins to the address on the registration page, then provide the txid for the transaction for verification by POLYSHIELD's automated verification system. This not only allows users to prove they are people, and not bots... but also utilizes the polytimos blockchain. Something that most services don't seem to be doing, and something we believe to be necessary, in order to teach people the core concepts of blockchains and how they function. The 'fee' for this, will never exceed the equivalent of 50-150 satoshi, and is less a 'fee' and more a simple verification method. SERVICE INFO At the moment, only the stakepool is fully functioning, and the MasterNode 'tracking' for the nodes owned by POLYSHIELD users from the alpha forum version of the service. The MasterNode sharing service is being developed. The withdrawal functionality, is not fully developed yet, so for now you are able to deposit, and enter the stakepool and stake, by which rewards are credited to your secure internal polyshield wallet and username. Until Withdrawal functionality is completed, you will not be able to take your coins out of the stakepool, nor withdrawal from the system. We expect withdrawal to be completed within a week or so, if not sooner. We simply wanted to get people to test the system more thoroughly since our internal private beta testing has been done, and everything seems to be working as intended. KEEP IN MIND The service is still being very actively developed, and is in beta. If any changes are requested, we will take them into consideration. Everyone has a voice. If any issues are noticed, please let us know immediately. We have pretty thoroughly tested the system, but it is COMPLETELY CUSTOM CODE, everything from the web interface to all of the backend functionality, and therefore is potentially not perfect in all manners. Security of the platform is very good, and we do not expect there to be any issues in regard to security. We take multiple methods of security into consideration. The two projects at this time have very little in common. I only re-posted the ANN for polytimos as I am helping build the POLYSHIELD service provider for it. POLY is a community coin, therefore no one 'runs it'. I simply help it out because I like community projects. QORA2 and QORT are being launched built from the newly re-coded codebase of QORA. Each project that I actually do run, has its own team. POLYSHIELD has a team, and QORT has a team. My roles in both can be fulfilled, I am always running multiple different things, as this is my 'job'. There may be 'overlaps' in the future, depending on the ways the communities of each would like to see things go. I think the adding of POLY to QORT's trade portal is definitely a possibility within a short timeframe. Of which I'm sure no one will have a problem. IIRC the account was one that was purchased, and thus banned due to that. It was purchased only because the project wanted to have an account not associated with anyone, that would also be able to post pictures initially. So yea... nothing nefarious just didn't work out exactly as planned. also - yea, the project could use some support for sure... on the market side... But something else that should be helpful... the 'main' project that I have been working on for well over 4 years now... is launching very soon. (see the announcement for the hardware for it here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5190627.0) the main announcement for the platform itself is coming shortly. This project, will be listing POLY on its trade portal. (Totally decentralized cross-chain trade platform, built into the Qortal Project platform.) So that should assist a bit with getting POLY some attention I would say. Also, there is a team like I mentioned on the first post of this page, who has reached out to me regarding a game they have built for POLY. I will be relaying more information about that in the near future. POLY is a community project, it has been running now for quite a while, with its custom algo. Hasn't had a lot of hype, but it is still running. I personally love long standing projects without a lot of hype, and community focus. So I have been planning to make POLY a part of QORT via listing on the trade portal for quite some time now. Now we're within a month of launch for QORT, so I can begin really talking about it and the plans there. I have thought of POLY as something that will be a great long game hold. Is it abandoned? it isn't abandoned, but sorta 'on pause' at the moment while a solution is fully devised. I think I will open up a method of transferring POLY into Qortal so that POLY holders can obtain value on Qortal. I will post back when I have figured exactly what the process will be. Not distracted, just working on multiple different things. The project is going as expected. I have put another dev to the base level of the project. There are a couple things we're planning to announce for POLY soon. Apologies for the amount of time between posts, a lot has been going on lately in my life. But I think everyone will be happy to see what we get done next. My suggestion would be to start slowly accumulating the coin, as I have been doing, in preparation for the future ;) Get distracted? |
