Title: Do you gamble only with Bitcoin and do you have other favorite alt-coin?
Post by: BlackRed on February 28, 2019, 12:39:30 PM
Hello,
Many sites are now starting to accept more and more different crypto currencies, for example Luckygames (http://luckygames.pro) now accepts 101 coin and all of them seems to be active.
My favorite is still Bitcoin and Doge.
Whats your favorite coin that you use for online gambling and if it is not accepted would you convert it to Bitcon to try and play online gambling games?

Bitcoin is still my favorite one and my favorite alternative coin to gamble is Doge. I use another coins as well such as ETH but very rare. I like doge because its cheap transaction fee and faster confirmation time. Luckily, most of the sites where I used to gamble are accepting Doge so I do not need to convert it. I have no ideas why luckygames accept that much coins, is it worth enough? At least are all those coins has significant wager amount compared to bitcoin and other popular coins?

I always play with bitcoin and my second option is ethereum. Its not just they are my favorite cryptocurrency to gamble. They are just the coins i have plenty of resources with. I put my other alts just for holding and i dont want it to get involved on gambling. Better to get my less resource on safe places though.

No, I don't gamble with Bitcoin only. My favorite coin now is Dogecoin because it's not too expensive than bitcoin and I can use 0.001 bitcoin to buy a large amount of Dogecoin. With 0.001 btc, I can get almost 1995 Dogecoin which is enough for me to play any gambling games.

But sometimes, I used Bitcoin too, and I only want to spend my bitcoins in less than 0.001 btc. I am too afraid to lose much of bitcoin, and because of that, I prefer to use Dogecoin.

Besides of both Bitcoin and Dogecoin, I use Verge but not much gambling websites were accepting Verge, and it's for a long time ago since then I moved to use Dogecoin.

there are bettors that uses an alts on their bets especially when there was a competition, most of the time bettors prefers alts on their wagering competition because it easy for them to achieve their goals with a small amount on alts rather than on bitcoin.

On ordinary casinos I use Bitcoin and Ether but there is a way I grew a liking for EOS based gambling DAPPS. In most cases I find myself using EOS. One thing I love about EOS is how transactions are carried out. No transaction fees. All you have to do is rent resources by staking a few of your EOS tokens which you can u stake anytime and get your EOS back.

I always gamble with bitcoin because I don’t hold much alcoins and I see a more convenient way to use bitcoin. So many gambling sites accept bitcoin, so its easy to find where to play. Though some altcoins are already active in gambling sites, i will still choose bitcoin.

gambling will be used for only entertainment purpose so if you want to gamble with some intention to develop your life you can use the bigger investment but experimenting with different types of currency in gambling will be the best idea and it will be the useful thing better way also.

I have ETH and Doge and I use them in dice sites that accepts ETH and Doge when the price goes down. It's my way of increasing the number of ETH and Doge that I am holding. I use to have XRP and pay with them in same dice site that I play wit ETH and Doge but the YOLO mentality took over my brain and lost all of them.

I typically deposit with a combination of BTC, LTC and ETH. I used to hold Doge, but LTC and ETH are much more supported than Doge on most gambling sites and the coins also have better liquidity for whenever I want to convert the coins back to BTC for a fiat transfer.

BTC works fine in most cases, but there's also occasionally spam attacks on the network or just plain elevated fees and alts come in handy when fees are high but you still want to gamble.

There is a lot of gamblers use Dogecoin instead of bitcoin, I was really confused about that in the past, but when I tried to gamble using dogecoin, I felt it's more funny and good, mostly for people who don't want to lose a lot of money! I mean for gambler who play just for fun and not for profit.

I mean if you lose 1000 dogecoin you will not get depressed because it's not so much money, but if you play using bitcoin and you bet with more than 0.01 btc, you'll afraid a bit even if the bet is easy, because 0.01 or even more it's not such a few dollars, so in my opinion, dogecoin is a very good crypto for gambling.

I gamble using my BTC and ETH. Its convenient and at the same time a good investment for me. I never tried to use any altcoins, I’m contented with my coins now and I will gamble sometimes using my cryptocurrency. I still prefer to go to casinos and use fiat money, most of the time.

There are a lot of reasons why online casinos are adding a lot of altcoins ans that's not only because doge or ltc or etc is some player's favourite coin.
For example Bitsler added Burstcoin because there was a huge demand from players, it's easy to mine with HDD and everyone could mine and play with it. Also there are a lot of people who minero with cpu and prefer to gamble with what they mine, some have GPUs and mine whatever coin they want. I just explained situation.
On another hand, my favourite is bitcoin, ether, litecoin.

A lot of altcoins are being accepted in many gambling sites, but still I don’t want to spend much on that since I know gambling is not a good way to earn money. I used bitcoin before to gamble, and I lose it that time I feel so disappointed. So I don’t want to use my bitcoin anymore, i still use fiat money here in our local carnival which is better i think.

what best suites you is the altcoins and other non valueable coins  because you said you are only playing for the entertainment  . by using alts and tokens , you can last longer due to thier cheap value  .  in my case i only use btc alone because i only play for the profit  . i can easily reach the sites minimum withdrawal threshold if i use high valued cryptos  .

101 crypto coins ? oh thats cool  . most sites that i know only support fewer kinds  .

I only gamble for Bitcoin. It's because this is what most gamblers are using. I just have a feeling that in gambling such as betting, the more players that are betting, the better the prize you may get.

Though there are different gambling sites with different acceptable coins on the platform but the only accepted coin among all gambling casinos sites is Bitcoin while others are optional.
After Bitcoin I usually choose Ethereum as my second most wanted coin to gamble with but in the absence of Ethereum, I do choose to gamble with Doge.

Bitcoin is the main one for me and the other alternative coins that I use more often are doge and ltc for casino gambling, but for sportsbook bets I always use bitcoin. All the coins that are used are good even though many compare the fees transactions on each coin and this is only the taste of each person who is different.

If you use eth and ltc in trading like you do invest in two alts then you can also use this in gambling everytime you play like you accept to take risk in this also still for me better to use btc in gambling site because this is already trusted here in crypto another thing no similar if you use alts in this like if you bet or deposit btc in gambling site still try all so use alts also even btc is better

I prefer fiat because I believe in crypto and know that in coming years it would be multiple times worth than what it is at present value. Also gambling is so unpredictable and chances of losing is higher so do not want to lose any crypto and miss the opportunity of becoming wealthy in coming years.

I like to used doge, its is easier to used doge without need to calculate the digit, and the transaction fee is not too expensive, but not all place is support doge coin, most of the gambling place prefer to support btc and eth, so it's more convenient to used btc or eth to gamble, btc and eth are also more stable on the price, price stability could also one of the consideration that need to think

fiat ? how come if you cant use it to gamble online .  we are only talking about btc and other cryptos here not fiat or any other local currencies . however fiat is useable in offline kind of gambling  .  yet i agree on you that btc and crypto is valueable and can be more worth it if we prefer to hodl them than using in riskier things such as gambling  .  infact i dont also use my own cryptos to gamble  .  i only use the sites faucet and the sites airdrop feature to play .

Good point, btc and eth always been the priority when it terms to gambling, but nowadays several alt coins already showed up and begin to have
their own platform for gambling, good example is the one that I'm wearing EOS also begins to enter the business, you can find quality games inside
the site and you can choose between btc or eos to be used.

I was trying to work out why Dogecoin is so popular for some people to gamble with.

You give a good reason - you can use e.g. 100 Dogecoins to gamble with, which is easier for our brains to understand than e.g. 0.000230 BTC.

I suppose also Dogecoin has been around for a long time, and was once very popular, so people have a history of using it which persists even today.

Hahaha yes, that is a pain in my head if I use bitcoin especially if I lose 0.01 bitcoin, it felt like I got a big jab in my face LOL.

With dogecoin, I have no problem to see a lose 1000 dogecoin as you, but I still prevent to get a big loss in Dogecoin.
So we have the same coin for playing gambling. Did you try with the other low price like Reddcoin?

I am curious with gambling using EOS which nowadays becomes popular, perhaps I will try it later, but EOS price is more than $3 which is too high for me to buy for just playing gambling.

Seriously? You are having a problem on how to track or to calculate the equivalent of each coin? Then what's the difference of using Bitcoin then? A 5-year-old kid can do better than you if you think you don't know how to calculate them. And also, there is a calculator on google that you can find easy to convert anything that you want.

For a "faucet" gambler, there cannot be any favorite nor comfortable altcoin to gamble with. Yes, I do just claim faucets and start gambling right away and after altcoins are available with major gambling houses, I am able to gambler more for free of cost. One recent example is stakes.com. They are providing 4 to 6 coins for faucets including bitcoins and for a gambler who just trying auto-dicing, what is not at all a big thing but able to gamble is alone always a needed one ;D.

The good thing about having several options with altcoins is that you can not only have the word Bitcoin in your mind, you can play with Doges, that makes me relax a bit and not feel like I'm losing satoshis if I'm in a bad patch. .. It's like a push for psychological help, because when you play and you see that you take more experience, you can do it later with Bitcoin and with small sums, little by little you are adding to your balance.

Why you are still gambling, just go and play some video games or better watch a action packed Hollywood movie, I guess these are all enough for you when you run out of faucets, right ? Kidding aside, I appreciate you for your way of gambling but you will come to realize the importance of choosing right coins for perfect gambling experiences when you turn caring about gambling.

I do see some houses are promoting litecoin as faster than bitcoin to gamble with. I also like people to go for altcoins for gambling as it will reduce your risks. After sometimes of gambling, you will never realize on what coin you are gambling. It will give you all the entertainment you seek. But, these are all not applicable until you come out of your "faucet" gambling.

I do, do my little gambling with bitcoin and I have never tried to used any other coins for gambling as I have never tried any one.  I think there is no much different between those coins in gambling and gambling with bitcoin makes calculations of profits easy for me.

Basically calculating what you gamble is easy no matter what coins you use to gamble as long as you know the value of the coins. The difference could be about the transaction fees because some coins has cheaper transaction fee than bitcoin, that's why some people uses alternative coins for gambling.
Coins with low transaction fee helps small gamblers a lot as they do not need to spend higher amount to deposit. Lets take doge vs bitcoin, when a small gambler want to deposit small amount only then they will choose doge. Imagine if a gambler want to deposit less than 100k satoshi in bitcoin, logically he should spend at least 5000 satoshi for the fee but on other hand if he use doge then he will be able to minimize the fee because he do not need to pay 5000 satoshi in doge. 1-5 doge is enough for the fee which is only less than 500 satoshi.

Maybe you could try to buy dogecoin and send it to your account on the gambling website. You will get a new experience when you use low price coin as the bets. You will not realize that if somehow, you spend 1000 of dogecoin doesn't mean too big for you and after that, you will use low price coin to gamble. But it's okay if you still want to stick with bitcoin but don't spend too much bitcoin because of bitcoin still worth for you.

Hello,
Many sites are now starting to accept more and more different crypto currencies, for example Luckygames (http://luckygames.pro) now accepts 101 coin and all of them seems to be active.
My favorite is still Bitcoin and Doge.
Whats your favorite coin that you use for online gambling and if it is not accepted would you convert it to Bitcon to try and play online gambling games?
I always like to play gamblign with dogecoin, maybe if there are a site that allow coin with lower fees, i will use it. But dogecoin still be my favourite because it is exact amount and not decimal  ;D

Doesn't really matter what coin I use. But I tend to stick to Ethereum and bitcoin, because while I am making bets, they are more stable when it comes to volatility in the market for the time my bet is active. Secondly, if the website supports withdrawals in Ethereum, then thats what i prefer because of the low fees and faster transaction.

in most of the time the gambling will go with the Bitcoin because it will be very useful for me to get the profit very much higher and betting with Bitcoin is more simple than investing and other also I think it will enough for me.

years where transaction times is really horrible.

It doesnt really matter yet coins would be used would always vary with users liking.

Well, on mine, I only stick into Bitcoin because I do not have that much crypto coins to hold and the other holdings I have are just into small amount which might be not enough for placing bets on an online gambling site. But if I will have a privilege to convert those coins I have for Bitcoin, I would really love to do it so I can enjoy playing gambling. But I a not really into playing always, just at times whenever I need to entertain myself so I am just playing with the lower limit bets just to be able to play and have fun since I am not that typical gambler who aims for profit on playing gambling. Currently, I am up into an  online casino (https://to.crwd.cr/smtm) that accepts Bitcoin deposits that is why I really love to use only Bitcoin for playing the variety of games they have plus the privilege to receive their welcome bonus just for doing my first deposit on it.

My favorite is still btc, maybe because of it's price. I also tried alts that rainbot gave but i'm less interested on it and focus myself on btc. If I used alts in betting, i'm not playing serious and just betting without a pattern or strat. If I reach the minimum tip amount of an alt, I tip it right away to random player, except etherium.

The most widely used coins today are Bitcoin and Ethereum because they can be used well and are stable with shipping rates that are not as severe as you call them, I personally often use both of these coins back to everyone's comfort level, so it's natural for everyone recommend Bitcoin and Ethereum as a transaction tool in gambling and maybe it can be a motivation for other coins so they can be useful like these two coins.

Everyone is used to gamble with bitcoin because most of the casino's are into bitcoin. Some do accepts altcoins but they have their preferred altcoin to accept. I dice with bustadice but whenever I have the time to visit other casino's, I gamble with other coins like Ethereum and Doge.

But overall choice, gambling with bitcoin is still the best experience ever. You have to gamble with real money and you don't have to convert it with any other coins except converting it to cash whenever I need it.

Because since I first entered into online gambling, bitcoin is the first coin I use, so the use of bitcoin is so attached to my mind. I can enjoy the game more when using bitcoin as a gambling tool than when I use other coins. I rarely use alts except at under certain conditions. Doge is the coin which I, mostly, will use at such conditions.

The difference is, how those coins will move in price.
That's why people still prefer to gamble with bitcoin and so do I.
Winning some even insignificant amount today may turn to be a real jackpot in few years right?
Bitcoin is still unarguably the best coin, so no wonder most choose to gamble with it as chances for price spikes remain more certain.
So it's in fact a double gamble game but only stretched through time.

Well, that is right and same here. I have been a long term lover of Bitcoin in gambling thing and this looks more easy and convenient to gambling using Bitcoin. But, yes the transaction fee is an issue and it is more adored when it is low but the case has been different lately. And yes, other coins like Litecoin, Dogecoin and Bitcoin cash have been frequently used as an alternative for gambling and in recent times there are gambling houses which are using their own tokens for gambling within their house.

I still go with only bitcoins and I am not ready to miss out a jackpot hitting by using a low value altcoin. Gambling with bitcoin ensures that I will win if luck favors me and if not favoring me that means I need to keep trying whereas altcoin may reduce my profits levels by ten fold or even in higher number.

I gamble with whatever I can get my hands on. When I get some free coins from somewhere I use them. Sometimes casinos give freebies like Yolo gave LTC for free when they added LTC support. I also get referrals so if someone bets another altcoin and I get a share I don't waste time exchanging it but play with what I have.

That's good option to play with the funds you get from referrals and on the free bonus provided. This will help with the unnecessary spending on exchanging the coins to some particular coin to spend on gambling. As bitcoin is the most used I too prefer the same for my gambling needs.

I think this is an interesting article and I can relate completely to your story. I believe there are so many other people like you in this Forum and for the research that shows that gamblers gamble responsibly is very true, there are just a few people who are unable to do this because they have allowed emotion control them while playing the game and have lost self-control.

Nevertheless, your under listed strategies might not work for everyone, the only solution to some addictions is Exit, either temporal or permanent exit.

There was a time I found out I was gradually getting addicted to a casino as a result of  the much time I spent playing, tried some of his methods you mentioned to help me but I always played more, what I did was to exit completely for a period of time, over 1 year, by the time I got back, it became easier to play without addiction.

No, I do not gamble only Bitcoin. I like to play gamble with various altcoin like Litecoin, Dogecoin Etc. I should not just gamble with Bitcoin. Occasionally gambling should be played with other cryptocurrencies. When I got time I played gambling with litecoin or Dogecoin. Because I do not always have Bitcoin. So all other coins have to play with gambling. And now almost all of the Gambling platform has Altcoin's system. So I think all of us should gamble with altcoin.

Thank you

The smaller the bet can be the better, just because i can variate more in betting tactics.
Playing in alts i check what the minimal payout needs to be and what it cost to get it out and pick the one with the lowest rate.

Advantage on playing with alts where you can really variate more with different strategies yet you do have a good space on using some small amounts with big balances.
You know the value isnt really that big compared directly to Bitcoin. I do mostly play with Doge's.

Yes, there are alternative coins available and you could gamble with them inexpensive way. There is not difference which one you use because ultimately the scale at which you gamble matters. I think that keeping this price rise in the value of Bitcoin, gambling would not be more profitable that hodl to cash because gambling is still a pit of uncertainty and hold can make you some certain money.

When gambling is only for entertainment purposes, there will be no meaning of risking bitcoins for finding fun. If money is just an entry pass for entertainment things in gambling world then we must have some cheaper alternative coins to risk and find the same fun.

Bitcoin is the main coin priority that I use, it is because Bitcoin support is so good that I can use it in various places. For other coins, I use it as an optional, I want to use it when there are promos and for me it is easy. The risk is that altcoin price fluctuations are so fast that the risk that we might get will be far greater than when we use Bitcoin. Yes it's true that the risk is the price decreases so that it decreases the assets we have.

I used usually bitcoins but it is good for me if I use other altcoins like what sometimes I do and I like to use ethereum and litecoin and the gambling site who are perfect for that is the stake.com who are accepting different kinds of altcoins to play gambling.
We do have our owned supported coins and casino house, probably Bitcoin still the first option when dealing with gambling you can simply convert your Fiat to Bitcoin and play the game you love, enjoying inside the casino can be done whether using Bitcoin or any other acceptable cryptos.

I gamble in Bitcoin most of the times but I also like Clams because of self stacking... I found this interesting and good way to amortize my spendings on gambling.

Definitely right dude, the first option, when you use to gamble, is bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most common use in a crypto gambling site but I personally want to use dogecoin because it has a low-value fee when you can transfer it in your main wallet. Every one of us has a different perspective on how to gamble using crypto.

I have heard gambling with clam before somewhere in the forum but I forgot about it already.

I'm interested to know more about this 'self-stacking'. I've searched for things related to it but can you explain about it briefly?

Its easy to get started you just need to get some clams (I know poloniex and shapeshift have it on its list) then you have 2 options:

1.- You can download the clam wallet and leave it online with your clams
2.- You can go to a staking pool site like www.just-dice.com

By my experience I can tell you that if you have 1000 clams in just-dice you will be getting 1 clam a day maybe a little bit more maybe a little bit less because you are also absorbing losses and gains on the bets of the site.

I think developers explain very well how to get fresh clam hahah
I share with you a quote from the site http://clamclient.com/learn/

"The CLAM network is secured through a unique system called Proof-of-Working-Stake (POWS), or as we like to say, Digging for fresh CLAMs! Approximately once per minute, the network automatically selects one running unlocked client to process recent CLAM transactions, rewarding them 1 CLAM. This process happens entirely in the background. If the network selects your client, then all you’ll notice is that you’re 1 CLAM richer! This POWS system is the heart of the CLAM network, providing security and stabilizing the price over time."

I mostly used to gamble with bitcoin only (now i don't gamble much any more). You know, those casinos allow you to makes very small bets and even 1 satoshi bets ( not sure about other casinos but crypto-games.net does allow that). So, we can try out different strategies by risking small. But my another favorite altcoin to bet with is Doge coin. Who doesn't like dogecoin?  ;)

I don’t know where you have heard about it but I like to gamble with bitcoin only for me it is the best altcoins that we can use to gamble, bitcoin made huge progress all over the world so many people are using it for different purpose but I use it to gamble with my own favorite game, it gives me profit, I win and I have collected so many bitcoin now.

I gamble mostly with altcoins now, I'm too afraid to lose bitcoins so I feel much better when I just gamble with altcoins. When I gamble with bitcoins I often just bet with the lowest amount possible and with the highest chance for winning, this is not a good gambling strategy, with altcoins I take a bigger risk and get much better rewards. That's why I prefer altcoins gambling.

I'm aware of just dice, this is the casino of dooglus right?

So 1000 clams x $8.48 = $8,480

And this self stacking is most likely staking like other altcoins but this time it is on a casino.

It depends on the site you are gambling on. See if they have options for you. Normally many of them have options for Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum which are the famous coins in the market. But regardless of whatever coins you use, what matters the most is your way to gambling and your experience that play a prominent role in making you money. I use Bitcoin for crypto gambling.

Yes, indeed. I used Dogecoin for gambling, and with that coin, I don't have to bother or confuse or to feel sad if I lose. With the low price of dogecoin, I can buy a large amount of dogecoin for playing gambling, and I don't have to use all of the amounts to gamble.

I don't use ethereum because it's too worthy for me and I prefer to save my ethereum and use dogecoin to bets. Bitcoin is the last option that I will use for gambling, and if I am too lazy to convert my bitcoin into dogecoin, then I will only use bitcoin for gamble.

You should try to use dogecoin, and I think you will enjoy using dogecoin for gamble as I am.

Thats true, most people gamble using altcoin because it's much cheaper and not too used for them. bitcoin is only investment for them, of course they prefer to hold it than to gamble with it. altcoin like ltc, doge, etc, it seems more comfortable to gamble

I don't play with bitcoin. I would rather hold and save more of it. I always choose dogecoin and Ltc.
They're cheaper compared to bitcoin and it's fast and mote convenient. I don't have bigger regrets whenever I'm losing unlike when I use Bitcoin. I feel confident betting using those coins.

Choosing small value coins can allow you to enjoy without having any regrets as the budget allocated is convertible to bitcoin, not unlike bitcoin when you lose your precious coin the suffered you felt will be last long inside your minds, regretting that it should be hold and wait for the value to rise and convert it to much better price, sometimes we have to be more practical when doing some things that will allow us to be entertained.

Exactly it is convenient to gamble with Bitcoin as compare to any other coins.  The only problem which I sometimes face is the transaction time for deposit and withdrawals of BTC, which is frustrating  sometimes. Other than this Bitcoin is best to gamble with.

Well, i usually gamble only with bitcoin because bitcoin is good for long-term investment and the online gambling site that i played also accepts bitcoin as payment, so it will be better if i will only use bitcoin for gambling. The reason why i use to gamble using only my bitcoin is if i won many times i could have a huge profit and add it to my investment, even i lose in playing i can still easily win back all of my losses. Anyways, the bitcoin casino (https://vegascasino.io/casino/video-slots/wild-pixies?utm_source=ccwp) that i have been playing offers hundreds of casino games like poker, roulette, baccarat, blackjack and slots, and also gives great bonuses that you will enjoy.

It is always exciting to use bitcoin as the bets, but unfortunately, I don't have too many bitcoin for the gamble, and I feel that I do not prefer to use bitcoin as the bet. But I have another favourite altcoin like dogecoin because this coin is very cheap and I don't feel too sad if somehow I lose the coin in the gambling table. I feel sad if I use bitcoin for bets, but I will be fine if I can get that bitcoin from the faucet because I don't have to lose my own coin.

Yeah, dogecoin is one of the most cheaper altcoins that we can use to play gambling and have some fun and entertainment. Most of the time I always use bitcoin to gamble because I don’t have so many any other coins to play. I just gamble what i have and yeah I eventually just have bitcoin to play and gamble.

I don't have issues about the transaction or confirmation time.

It's smooth as always, maybe you aren't paying the approriate fee that's why most of your transactions aren't going through so fast?

Most crypto gambling sites accepts BTC, Eth, and LTC. But I think so many people just prefer dogecoin not just because of the speed but because of its affordability. The truth is no body wants to lose their BTC, gathering BTC is not easy, and I don’t think anyone would want to gamble that, so it’s better to go for something cheaper, the goal is to have fun and at least make back something regardless of how little.

BTC, ETH and other bigger crypto currencies are for big time gamblers who have gambling as their profession and a major source of income not for someone like me who only plays for fun.

Don't make the changes in your fees it will be make your transaction goes smooth.

Please look your gambling wallet first and see what problem you unless and until you did not changes fees there.

If you do not have any problem, please use EOS to make the transaction. It will never fail for any causes. Please deal if you do not have any fees issues.

Gambling with Bitcoin can be interesting and it’s even more interesting when you win but then it’s also risky.  The profit that comes with winning in Bitcoin gambling can be so encouraging and that’s how bad it is when a loss is made too if one is not careful with his game .

I don’t gamble with Bitcoin, although my friends do and they always encourage me on it because according to them, they like the profit that comes with gambling with Bitcoin. Dogecoin is my most preferable gambling currency, it’s cheaper for me to get and at the same time I can easily afford to lose.

That's why bitcoin is still popular for crypto gambling, because it depends on the site where you bet, there are gambling sites that only offer bets in bitcoin but you can deposit from different crypto and many crypto options there to make deposits and after deposit confirmed, then the coin you will receive to bet is bitcoin.

Bitcoin is only interesting to gamble for those who have many of it to play with, I worked too hard to get the few Bitcoin I have and I can’t afford to try it on gambling, a game that I am not so much sure of it’s winnings.

The last time I tried gambling with my ETH and I am yet to recover from the loses I made. Maybe because I am still not very good at gambling or I am just not lucky with the game because the rest of my friends who gambled with it made back their ETH with profit but I lost mine completely. For now I use dogecoin and I have been so cool with it. Cheaper and safer to play.

Hello,
Many sites are now starting to accept more and more different crypto currencies, for example Luckygames (http://luckygames.pro) now accepts 101 coin and all of them seems to be active.
My favorite is still Bitcoin and Doge.
Whats your favorite coin that you use for online gambling and if it is not accepted would you convert it to Bitcon to try and play online gambling games?

Well, untill now I am up to Bitcoin, since it is the most versatile coin here in crypto community which allows me to explore the world of crypto and I don't to attain different coins since I can still be able to play and gamble not just with Bitcoin but  also with a converter and that's Darb (https://darbfinance.com/?=crowd)  it allows me to play different gaming sites which prefers different coins accessibly, since it offers a service to convert all my bitcoin into another set of assets which I use in playing with faster way of making transactions.

I understand your fears, I cannot imagine losing my Bitcoin this period, become Bitcoin is more or less like diamond this days and it takes a lot of effort to accumulate, so gambling with BTC is highly risky but might be worth it in the end.

ETH is a good coin to gamble and that is what I have been using. Just an alternative to BTC, I believe you made all the  loses because you weren’t too good with your game, maybe you should re-strategies, regardless your doge coin is not bad.  It’s very cheap and it can make gambling safe to play.   Better you just stick with what you know and trust, if doge coin has been favorable to you I advise you hold unto it.

Actually it doesnt really matter on which coin you are using yet the only difference among them is the value which in DOGE we can able to play much more longer since the value is too low which means
you can play on big numbers or lesser which you can take advantage on using up your strategies or you do like to enjoy the game on little bit more longer but overall these coins do have value
no matter what you do see.

Me too. I also do gamble only using my Bitcoin because of some reasons (1) Bitcoin that I hold up ever since the downfall last year is the available sources I have so I use to play with it. (2) the current I am up to which is the same as your which is a crypto casino named Vegas casino primarily accepts Bitcoin deposits and other transactions by the use of Bitcoin. (3) in this way of using Bitcoin in playing gambling, I can do exercise my Bitcoin usage and if lucky enough, I can make it grow even more from winning into the variety of games I am playing into the crypto casino I used to play which includes poker, black jack, roulettes, slots and many more which I do enjoy and having fun to play because through using my Bitcoin, I can do have a wide access to the variety of games that I love plus having their great deals of bonuses for doing my deposits in terms of Bitcoin into it which is really fun and exciting making me to play along all over again.

If you are preferrin other coins over bitcoin due to its high price then you caon consider about decreasing your bet amount of bitcoin which value equal to ethereum or dogecoin because many sites offers even 1 sat as bet amount so all you need to do it play rather than counting digits on your bet amount.

Long back itself I stopped as one thing I realized that people who play just for money will not only end up losing but also will lose coins in the process and if playing with worthless it is fine but something like btc it is risky as you even lose bull run opportunity.

I've been gambling with bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. They are readily available and in case of the latter three the transaction fees are low.
Ehtereum is also the favorite gambling currency for dapps. And Dogecoin is easy to calculate as it can be gambled in whole numbers.

In these days when Btc is very much expensive again, I look for better alternatives like gambling sites over Ethereum and EOS chain which give me the same type of games with much less fee for withdrawals and it becomes a win-win for me if I win big in EOS and price in BTC rises for that. I gamble with alts because BTC is sky high so I can't afford to lose even BTC0.001, but if I lose 0.001 Eth or EOS, then I am totally fine with it.

No matter which crypto currency we use, we tend to calculate in usd the profits and losses. So if the btc price is increased, you can lower your amount from 0.001 to 0.0005 approx. (so the usd value remains the same).  Yes, I do agree that the withdrawal in BTC gets more expensive as the value gets increased.

Why to watch fiat when we have got alternatives that are way cheaper than BTC and have had the same type of games available to play? I can lower the amount and I know that, but there are many websites with a 'minimum bet' of BTC0.0001 and some with BTC0.0005. Would you like to play there and give it a try to play with BTC0.0005 in one go for each bet? But if other websites ask for those amounts in Eth and other alts, why I won't be interested in playing with them and save a lot in 'USD'? Makes sense?

This is the thing I do really complaint about when bitcoins price tends to rise up it do dragged out its tx fee which do really sucks. When the mempool is
on high volume we do experience these increase.I agree on what you have said about calculations yet even me do always rely or basing on usd amount no matter
what would be the price yet we can adjust it anytime.

Yes, there are gambling sites which have put minimum amount to gamble with and we cannot lower the value. Using eth and other altcoins give us a chance to play with very low amounts and it is really useful if we have less amount of money and we want to play longer and not play a single game using bitcoin and lose all.

Instead of fiat, I prefer to gamble with Doge coins which have a lower fee for withdrawal and it is more convenient to test new gambling, dice strategies thanks to the stable rate. Big bettors take the deal on the altcoin based gambling sites that offer the cashback in case of using the altcoin of gambling site.

Those Bitcoins that I use are those that I have hold wayback 2018 when the price suddenly goes down which makes me decide to hold up my Bitcoins for good since trading that time is risky and really a time waster for it takes too much time to sell crypto by that time. Good thing that I have found the same crypto casino that you've got which is Vegas casino in which I find an alternative way to use up my Bitcoins for good by playing gambling to test up my luck on gaining rewards in terms of Bitcoin as well in which I do enjoy playing variety of games that I love like poker, slots, baccarat and more to offer added by their great deals of bonuses for doing my deposits in terms of Bitcoin which gives me a lot of fun and enjoyment by using up my Bitcoin in playing gambling conveniently.

Most of the time I use bitcoin when I gamble so I guess you can consider it my favorite. For me, it is better to just use bitcoin because it is commonly accepted by most gambling sites and casinos. I do have other coins like BCH, Doge & ETH but I seldom use them, I just normally use them in exchanges.

I used to play doge since it was accepted in a lot of gambling site back in the day. but playing gambling with other coins
just doesn't have the same feeling(if you know what I mean) when you use bitcoin to gamble. today I only use bitcoin since it is
the most reliable crypto-currency out there and the coin I'am most familiar with.

I just like to know how much BTC you spend on gambling? Cause I usually spending 0.005btc every time I gamble, it is not really a big amount but when I lose the entire funds will not be a big loss for me.
It is pretty sure that everyone would love to used BTC than of the others because of its price and also mostly gambling sites will only accept Bitcoin than of altcoins.

I do have other Altcoins for gamble and have been gambling with Bitcoin as well but the rise in the market value of Bitcoin has been a stopper and I stopped gambling my coins and rather love to HODL now. There is uncertainty in gambling and if you loose, all are gone but HODL helps your coins gain slow value and after a long term HODL, a big value.

Most favorable coin we used and mostly being accepted in any any gambling site will just Bitcoin, they'll have a few select altcoins but only those who have a good liquidity in the market. I also using BTC to gamble but due to the market exchange it came into my mind that using BTC this time is not a good option for me, so I have converted it into ETH.

But to use ethereum, I feel not right because I think I spend too much money like what I did with bitcoin. I think we can use another low coin price, so when we lose, we don't feel too sad. But if you are okay to use bitcoin or ethereum, then you can still use that coin than to use a cheap coin. But I never use eos to gamble because I don't have many eos, and I still prefer to hold my eos until the price can increase.

So far, XRP is my favorite coin when I am gambling, the cash-in is instant, and the denomination(USD base) is lower compared to Bitcoin or Etherum. One time I am playing, and then I got bad beat by the dice, The losing number come in 12 consecutive rolls, so I run out of funds. Still, because of XRP instant cash-in, I go all in again and get back my money. XRP is the best coin for me in terms of gambling.

How about if he win? Should we forget that there is also a chance of winning in gambling just because there is a chance to lose the moment of the bitcoin bull run?
In case he win by using btc then the bull run happen just after he win, means that it would be a double win or even more.
What we need to do in gambling is that we should use the coins that is not for investment purpose. Means that we should have different budget for different activities.
If you think too much about the bull run, then do not even gamble with any coins as most coins has their time for great pump.

Yes, all the altcoins that are on my portfolio like Ethereum, Eos and litecoin, but my favorite altcoins to use is EOS, there are a lot of betting sites now that are created dedicated for Eos alone and besides I like it's potential in the market, I'm 205 profit since I added it in my portfolio.

We are talking about favorite here, so my answer would be Bitcoin.

Most of the sites I played with are accepting bitcoin and bitcoin is the most liquid so any time I can convert it with fiat.
Although sometimes I choose altcoins like TRX for my gambling needs since BTC's network sometimes are congested but once the network is okay, I'll still get back on using bitcoin.

Actually its nice that some gambling sites are having a lot of deposit alternative in their sites, it does not only promote btc but altcoins as well and that is good for the market, but we can't avoid people to choose mostly btc since the market is not yet stable.

Nice move for advertising your site lol this is a clear advertisement for Luckygames.pro 😅

But we have both using two currency so far because bitcoin is in demand for gambling while dogecoin is the cheapest above all gambling currencies

But in some sites i also use ethereum and EOS since there are many gambling sites that use their platforms and its good for the gambling industry to have many options to bet for.

Great thinking. It's more spendable and no risk if you're going to gamble with those fork coins. And it all depends on your strategy whatever crypto you like to gamble with.

This is good for those who doesn't want to spend their bitcoins in gambling.

I also bet using fiat money but in the real casino, and to some betting sites that don't accept cryptos. :)

I rarely use altcoin to gamble because there are only a few sites that accept it. Most gambling sites accept Bitcoin as the main currency used. Using altcoin when only playing on certain games like Dice. What I often play is Sport betting, which I know is currently only able to use Bitcoin.

I would suggest to avoid btc beacuse if you lose coins in gambling than you are also losing huge chance of the returns on your investment as you would not be able to enjoy the bull run that is happening to the coins and will be on losing end .

Only key that should be think off where investment coins should really be separated to those coins which are intended for gambling purposes where you wouldnt
mind if it would pump its price or not. When we do play we should set aside this things up because this will just only result on confusion or just simply stressing out
yourself because you are hesitating on spending up those coins on gambling. You can use anything but be sure those are extra ones.

nope i also use altcoins specially dogecoin because this is one of the cheapest currency that can be used in more gambling sites
For me, I usually use bitcoin to my online gambling and some other alt-coins, especially if my favorites sites accept other cryptos. But I'm not only gambling with my bitcoin/ cryptocurrencies. I also bet using fiat money but in the real casino, and to some betting sites that don't accept cryptos. :)
looks like you are really a gambling enthusiast mate?good for you that you are playing from all different angle of gambling
Like everyone here i am also placing a bet with bitcoin and a few altcoins that are available and more over i have some fork coins that are acceptable in some sports book and now a days i completely use those fork coins to gamble so that i am not risking my bitcoin and still having fun  :D
wow thats great for you since forked coins can saved your
bitcoins from spending in gambling

im impressed when you say you gamble using your bitcoins but im more impressed when i find out that you still play gambling on real casinos using fiats  .

is the hype still there  ? i thought all are now switching on the online casinos ever since our technology evolved and add in the existnce of cryptocurrency which makes them a perfect tandem  . im also using a bitcoin as my prior bets but if im out of btc , thats the time that i use my alts for emergency cases only

By going through multiple pages of this discussion, I conclude there are two category of gamblers: first one gamblers who worship bitcoin so they never think about gambling with that and the second category is, they love to risk so they want to bet with bitcoin because it is having the highest value among cryptos.

Some people are having altcoins to gamble with because, for the same kind of gambling pressure still with less-risky way. I believe they are still belonging to 1st category. Almost all the altcoin gamblers are having their own reasons to make use of different coins for gambling still I do see them as a strong bitcoin adopters.

But, most of the gamblers are not having any favorite but they have some reason for not using bitcoins.

Actually I am using bitcoin for those gambling sites that required bitcoin to be paid in order to get stakes, if the gambling site required other coin to be used in order to get stakes to play in the gambling session then I will convert my altcoin to bitcoin or vice versa, it really depends on the gambling site on what coin they are using in order for you to get stakes.
As what as you said it is good that there is a gambling site or platform in order you can use other cryptocurrency in order to play in their gambling site.

I guess in many online gambling sites, besides using bitcoin, they have more options for an altcoin to be used as the bet. So I think you can choose the other coin than to use bitcoin only. But if you still prefer with bitcoin, then that will be no problem at all. Sometimes they also used their own token as bet regard of they want to promote their project to people so they can reach more investors to invest in their project.

There are gambling sites who are doing this, they are promoting their own token to increase its value once the sites gets popular, and this is a kind of gambling sites also that allows investment since their token will increase its value so if you hold you will gain, provided they have the success.

However, TBH, I am not fan of this kind of site as we know how unpredictable the market is, anything could happen and if such token is not listed in different big exchange, liquidity might be our problem in the long run.

I most of the time use BTC as it is accepted all over and has more users , so more demand and supply. But I know this guy who has moved away from BTC to Doge as it is too mostly acceptable and comes with low transactional fees. Few of the sites to use your Doge coins are - PLayamo, Crypto-games, Luckygames, 999Dice, DogeJack and many more. Such sites also allow to trade your Doge with other crypto.

Personally, I stick to gambling with Litecoin and Dogecoin, simply because these two cryptocurrencies have fast confirmation times and very low withdrawal fees.

Dogecoin is also useful for testing out gambling strategies, since each DOGE has an extremely small unit value. I definitely stay well away from Bitcoin since the transaction fee is way too high nowadays.

Few platforms offer NANO gambling, otherwise that would be my go-to crypto.

Those are two coins that seem to be more popular for alternatives or might be the main ones in crypto gambling, but I'm only interested in using bitcoin even though it does require higher fees for each transaction but I really like gambling using bitcoin.

It's more likely to exchange your doge to other crypto, but it requires you higher fee  rather than on regular exchange site. You are only can exchange to crypto which accepted in those gambling site (you forgot to mention bitsler & fortunejack, you are also can betting with dogecoin on there)

Bitcoin only since that's what I have in my Bitsler account. There are time I use BCH if I receive or rewarded with BCH when I join contests or there's a promotion but I don't transfer my coins or tokens from the exchange site that I am using just to gamble. Transfer fees if added all together when you transfer from wallet to your favorite online gambling site is expensive.

Till 2018 I have never used any other cryptocurrency other than bitcoin for gambling. This year I started to play with ethereum, and now this has made me consider ethereum to be my favourite for all gambling. From the beginning of gambling there were only very few coins that are popular for gambling purposes. Myself have tried with almost every top cryptocurrency, but much preferred is the ethereum.

I don't use their token because I prefer to use the other coin besides of using bitcoin. I think sometimes we are hard to find on what market was the token listed, and maybe we only need to send some bitcoin or ethereum in their site so we can convert it with their token. I feel that to gamble with the altcoin will not use too much money off me compare to use bitcoin. I also think about the price for the token at the market, and I don't like buying a high price for the token.

I try to avoid gambling using bitcoin as I prefer to hold it for long investment purpose, so I prefer to use altcoins. Other altcoins that I like to use for gambling is eth and xrp.

I like to gamble with Doge and Bitcoin but more on Doge because of its lower fee. Bitcoin on the other hand is a good coin for gambling but i won't let it to be easily wasted so i chose to hold it for long term investment.

^ It seems like we are the same, Doge and Litecoin are the most usually used in gambling aside from Bitcoin of course. It doesn't matter for me if how many coins accepted in the gambling platform and that is better to have another option when it comes using to gamble. But I will appreciate those gambling sites that have an exchange and convert your altcoin to other altcoins. Just like if you have Bitcoin and wanted to withdraw your assets, converting to Dogecoin to avoid high fees like Bitcoin is a good move.

Almost every online casino that pops up now have altcoins options for gamblers preferences.
This thread was created earlier this year, however, I am expecting many people view on using Bitcoin to gamble to change because the era of Bitcoin is metamorphosing and   its best to save up and hodl.
I don't specifically bring out some Bitcoin to gamble with but instead use free one I get and also some Ethereums.

On that subject, days ago I deposited $55 in bitcoin on a gambling site. when the  $55 in bitcoin came to my account the bitcoin price dropped and if I converted the $55 into bitcoin I would get $54. I didn't give much importance to this event, I won a few bets and my bitcoin balance increased, but in dollar terms it still didn't make much difference. That's when I realized that betting using bitcoin is to increase bitcoin and ignore the bitcoin value relative to the dollar.

Gambling with altcoins has its own pros and cons as compare to the one with bitcoin. The loss of altcoin is not as big as that of bitcoin. It is not that with a smaller bet of bitcoin, the loss can be decreased. The lost bitcoin was actually the source of future profits. Keeping balance in bitcoin will benefit you ultimately. Bitcoin transactions are not too expensive, they are according to the asset rate.

I think bitcoin is only the cryptocurrency that you could only be used as a currency in a lot of websites compares to other famous altcoins in the market. A lot of gambling website could only use a few altcoins in the game only tokens that they are promoting but we know that the token was could only be usable if we convert it to bitcoin and then convert it to cash so I think it is just normal just to gamble in bitcoin because a lot of website or almost all of the gambling websites are only accepting bitcoins and their own tokens.

I used ethereum and TRX for gambling, my favorite gambling site requires TRX based on it swift transaction while placing online live bets it had been a smooth running so far I have never encounter any issues with it, I also have the opportunity of transferring my TRX to binance and exchange it to bitcoin or ethereum, I do used eth  often for my binary options its transaction too was swift except for variation in the prices of crypto which always alter my daily target.

You still cannot avoid the cost because in the process of keeping your balance on bitcoin and later exchanging it back to altcoin, you will still have to pay some fees for it, while you still pay for altcoin fees too when withdrawing, so by the time you look at the whole thing, you will realize that it is almost the same thing, so I think it could even be better to just maintain one coin and that coin should be bitcoin since it is still the most recognized and the most reliable coins in the market.

I even think that most gambling site accept bitcoin far more than the other coins, except the sites that purposely created their own altcoin for gambling alone, which they will have to impose the coin on their players, but for every normal sites, I think that bitcoin is still the most used.

I know doge is cheaper but my local exchange does not accept doge so if I withdraw, I need to trade it in exchange first so I can send in my local exchange and that will take time, so I prefer to gamble with convenient using ETH as I can send it directly to my local exchange and cash out with fiat.

doge is the cheapest currency available in many gambling sites now.and ethereum as well though i dont usually use ethereum its either bitcoin or doge is what i am using mostly.

but i have also one site that i use EOSbet token, the newest i found that gives dividend for the holders.

I also gamble with Ethereum because it have a cheaper transaction fee and there are some gambling sites that only accepts Ethereum.
But there are also times that I would gamble with other alt-coin if the sites give away some free alt-coin or there are gamblers who would give out some of their profit to other gamblers with alt-coin.
I would only use alt-coin if the transaction fee of Bitcoin would be so high since I am only gambling small amount I wouldn't to pay for a high transaction fee.

agree with your opinion, do not use Bitcoin to gamble because the price is expensive and also the fee is expensive to send to the gambling platform. which is still my mainstay when gambling is cheap doge and fast delivery to the gambling platform so when you want to play do not wait long.

Most users feel the same when it comes to gambling, if we've kept everything within the inbuilt wallet there is no need for additional fee when we go for betting. This way I get into gambling unlike the cryptocurrency. There is nothing as favourite, but my most spending will be in terms of bitcoin, ethereum and xrp.

It’s about safety then feel like saving our coins in the wallet. There are so many wallets available and the best thing is that we can store our coin as long as we want. At the time of betting online, we will have to use crypto and for this purpose, we can use bitcoin and ETH as both of them are suitable to bet online otherwise other coins could be risky but we have experienced.
