Title: Will it be new start between two nation?
Post by: r1s2g3 on February 28, 2019, 05:24:37 PM
Amid all the tension and combat happened, a welcome news come from Prime minister of Pakistan that they will be releasing the IAF pilot Abhinandan Varthaman  (https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/will-free-iaf-pilot-abhinandan-tomorrow-pak-pm-imran-khan/articleshow/68202107.cms). This instance is in contrast to the fate of the earlier Indian soldier like Saurabh Kalia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saurabh_Kalia) or Ajay Ahuja (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajay_Ahuja).

There are hope of resolving the conflict because Prime Minister Modi is known to take bold steps towards solving a problem while on other side Prime Minister Imran Khan have a clean image and being a international sport person it is expected that he will not be take the same route as his predecessors.

I am not sure but it is not about the talk between the two Prime Ministers no matter how much they are willing to take step further. Pakistan, though democratic nation has history of many coups and dictatorship from Ayub khan,Yahya khan to Prevez Musharraf. Actually Pakistan army look like a biggest road blocker in peace agreement or resolving the conflict. So releasing of an Indian soldier  does really mean that Pakistan army this time will move forward towards peace and support their Prime Minister attempt?

No, this changes nothing because, on 14 Feb 2019, Pakistan Army backed Terrorist organization "Jaish-e-Mohammed" killed our 44 soldiers with the cowardly attack.

Pakistan had no choice in this situation. Indian PM clearly mentioned that Pakistan should follow the Geneva convention and return the IAF pilot without any demand.

And if they don't, then they will retaliate accordingly. Pakistan handled this situation better than us though.

Maybe every Indian noticed something rare this evening.  "Tri service Press conference" its very rare that they all come together addressing the nation. last time they came together in

during 1999 (Kargil war) and 1971 war ( we return their 93 thousand soldiers- Daru chicken khila kar) You can figure it out what does that mean.

How many time did they backstab us? Countless. be it Kargil, Parliament attack, Mumbai attack, 2005 Delhi bombing,( I witnessed the aftermath of this unfortunate event with my own eyes in Sarojini Nagar. I survived this attack by only 2-5 minutes) Uri Attack, Pulmawa attack and its not going to stop in near future, no matter what.

They call all fucking Terrorists their heroes and martyred for fuck sake.

All they do is sweet talk in front of us with fucking Cricket diplomacy.World is trying to go Mars and they keep trying to Enter the Fucking Kashmir.

With the statement to release a pilot who got into the hands of Pakistan Army, Imran khan has initiated peace to be sown all around between the countries. I'm not sure how successful this is gonna happen, but surely the citizens of each country could have learned more about humanity these days. Let's hope for a new start between them.

It just happen by the pressure from big nations like USA,Russia who adviced Pakistan to hand over the army person to India or it may bring the third world war.

Nothing is going to change between two nations.

Lets hope this is the first step towards a lasting peace.  The trouble is there is still so much hatred and resentment on both sides of the border as is demonstrated by JSRAW's post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5115417.msg49966163#msg49966163).  It'll be hard to overcome the resentment which has been fueled by both sides for decades.

The entire planes has a stake in this game.  Both sides are allied with western nations, and both sides have nuclear weapons.  Resolving their disputes is beneficial to all of us.

I highly doubt that its step toward any peace talks. my rant was about only Pakistani Army not common people of Pakistan.

How can anyone expect peace talk when Pakistan army keeps backing terrorist organization and providing them a safe haven. They are not willing to take any action against Jaish-e-Mohammed because its created by ISI only to create unrest in Indian Kashmir. Masood Azhar roams around freely in Pakistan. but hey some times they show off with so-called house arrest.

Let me add that People of India and People of Pakistan has nothing against each other ( We do have love-hate relation, similar to siblings especially North India and Pakistan because partition affected that region mostly)

What complicates everything is the power they have in the armies, after all, the people of a city are not to blame, the ISIS is very radical and the army they have is difficult.

Always the soclutions must be based on dialogues and peace, that is why all this is handled for a long time under diplomacy, the bad thing is that many are losing their lives while these conversations take place.
