So, Steem recently got added to the Huobi exchange and the effects of that are reflected in the current price.
I'm personally very pleased with this, since I'm now earning about 20% more on my posts.

I'm just hoping the price keeps increasing to $1 again.

It has been long coming. Steem is a very veritable token with a minimum value product and thus commands a lot demand by investors. Its a deserved listing

This can be attained as long as the demand continues. also, the seller should keep their price at high.

About the rise, it is ordinary for the coin to rise in value as it is listed in another good exchange.

Houbi is a good influence to the people on gaining price.

Once upon a time steem was around 4$ and steem dollor was about 8$ , Well those were good days and I hope we see more days like that this year , I like steem and always liked it , steem using blockchain and there is no advertising in it , it is easy to use and fighting with spams , steem is a revolution .

Yes because Houbi is one of the best exchanges at the moment, the altcoin that is just registered at Houbi will definitely happen to pump. And steem in my opinion is also a good project so it's very appropriate to be listed on the Houbi exchange. I think steem token holder just needs to wait to get a big profit.

it's funny because just few days ago i've read a thread, here, in this forum, about how steem was a dead coin.

That's great. With the increasing price I hope steemit team can continue developing the project. Many people says steemit is dead already, but I don't think so. The team members are great and i don't think they will bankrupt on near future

there is no reason for steem to die, steem has a large volume in all available markets, besides huobi steem has 3 great markets such as UPbit, binance and Bithumb that can be relied upon

And do you know why Huobi Token price grows? According to coinmarket website (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/huobi-token/) Huobi Token  price increased by 18%. That is more then Steem price  ;D.

It did not shoot up that much. I was expecting to see  $0.7 or thereabouts ,only to see it still stuck at 2 to 3.5 dollar range.
Steem deserves better though. It has lots of really good projects. No many people use most of them unfortunately.

Why would adding on Huobi would affect price for Steem?

It is already on Binance and Binance has more volume compared to Huobi.

I think Steem is a serious project that has interesting solutions for the digital economy. The popularity of this cryptocurrency, in my opinion, will grow, respectively, and the price will grow too. All this thanks to the idea itself - to receive rewards for content. In addition, Steem has a network bandwidth of above average, which means the convenience of this platform for use.

i think the next bull run for steem will be initiated by the introduction of smart media token the invention that will revolutionize how social media will works in the future :) 

The problem about steem is not just the exchange which is been listed but the platform itself, the team has to work on the platform in order to get a lot of users back onboard.

The main reason steem dipped in price is not just because steem admin need to pay their staff in fiat but the problem of the platform itself, I always advice dev should not just build a project but make sure that project is very user-friendly. We can't compete with facebook if this is not put in place.

Steem. That coin and especially its graph were really useful to peoples. Steem's platform is useful for content writers and Exclusive-content-seekers. I am proud that they made it to Huobi. They will go even further, they deserve that pump and we can expect them mooning in the future.

It would be great for Steems to increase to dollar again, because it would be great for those who have such coins))) but this exchange in my opinion not the best one and it does not mean for me that this will help it to rise very high.

That is great for steem and its community i have been long time user and content creator at steemit but recently the platform seemed a little out dated and slow which was talked about alot by its own community so i think team should now work on upgrading steemits interface, design and features and make it more attractive and fun filled for its users.

that's the world of crypto, if there is a steem, or a particular sales site that includes crypto there, surely the price will also be pump up.

Yes that's great but the price is still very low compared to the last bull run. I really wish it will go up very well in the next bull run even though this is not sure yet.

Most of the time those who started those kind of topic are the ones eyeing to buy when it dips due to the thread he started. Some may dump because of the idea that if its dead, the price of the coin will dip further. But Steemit is a solid project of Dan Larimer, he even leave the project to the community which makes it even better. Its just a matter of time before the price shoots up again.

Do you think that coin listing and price pump is good? I care more about technology, progress and adoption, only if these things are fulfilled price can rise. But not because it is listed on another exchange..

Anyways, it has been a significant impact for sure to be added to one of the big exchanges. Maybe the step towards other exchanges would be great also. I think what we can say now is, to the Moon!

Steemit is good project that the product already live and use it by alot of user,  from the pass performance the price has potential to raise to 10x in bullish trend. Steemit also already listed on Binance with high trading volume so this coin is good for long term trading as well.

Steem is promising well known and have great community as Steem as its own big social activity platform Steemit, Steem and Steem dollar has great opportunity to lead and top ten rank in the market.

true, that Huobie market is one good market because some of the ico results tokens listed there have experienced pumps and steem including one of them. while other factors that make steem price increases can be caused by the high demand for altcoin steem.

Steem is now available for trading on the Huobi marketplace is a good news for price pump, but based on current market condition and samsung s10 cryptocurrency wallet news, Steem's price increase is not much, $1 is possible while cryptocurrency marketcap shoot back to more than $250 billion, but not now.

It maybe the nature of a coin, whether it is bad or good that its price will skyrocket once it hits a reputed and professional exchange. So I think this will apply to every coin. At the same time, Steem is a good coin and it deserves its price increasing. So lets cheer holders of Steem. Party tonight.

The last time I checked steems price it was at 0.5usd. The steemit platform has truly served millions of people in the crypto community and I think its utility coin will easily be among top 30 coins in the near future
