I currently hold some very good coins and made a fortune in 2017 but lost most of it due to the crypto winter... But... now is a great time to stocktake and fill up on more good coins !

My question is.. what's your coin of choice that was very high in price back in 2017 (compared to now) that is most likely to to see massive gains again when the Bitcoin bulls return again soon? I recall BCH doing quite well compared to its current price, for example..

I keep most of my money in Ethereum, but I also think that it is worth investing in Bitcoin, EOS, Ripple and Tron.

There's only one altcoin for me that I'm sure that'll give me good profits on the future because there are still many projects that are using its platform and that's only Ethereum.

Those who are in the top 20 are probably going to follow the bull this time. Like Ethereum for example. It was always in the top 2 spots, and when the bull came in 2017, it pumps so much. I would say invest in Ethereum. In terms of profit, you could say BHC has still potential because it is being handled by a good businessman. Although it sucks, you could gain some profit from it.

I would probably go with ETN and INS. Too much hype last 2017 wherein there was a massive pump early in 2018 but the best for me for this year is INS, having a lot of improvement and mainnet should be live this year plus a bull market will take ys back from the time that it was 15$ or even more.

Ebtc is my mainstay at that time, I still remember when it was just an airdrop project and could get good results, And one of my pumping back..

Whole of altcoins have the chance to go back again to the moon in the future, ethereum should be the one of them but remember a little coin can give you a lot of money instantly. Ethereum could be doubled or tripled from its price.

Any established coins should be a good investment, as they have less chances of failure and (I feel) they are bound to rise.

If the bull market appears, most prices of altcoin will increase. Currently, Ethereum is altcoin that attracts the most attention, I think you should invest in it for the long term!

Put it on binance, let see whether you see the best coin to invest at the moment, there, you can spot the volume rate and the you can infer that you can invest and buy some coins there, just simple as that.

My bet is on utrust (utk) and credits (cs).
Their platform will launch this first quarter of the year so expect for the price to go up. UTK has a very good team that includes former paypal executives.

You should check icovo. They will release an aidols this coming months. The price is very cheap as of now but will pump for sure. It is already listed on idax

BCH is hated by most because it's a mere fork and totally lost it's value due to the bear market. You're saying that you made fortune by 2017 and lost it again during the bear market, have you learned the lesson now that whenever you've earned that much you should start taking some profits? My options now are Bitcoin and Ethereum, I've been holding most of my funds with these two coins and I'm very positive that when the bull market turns back, I'll take back what I've missed.

I think BCH is a pump and dump coin and it will be better if you skip this coin. Ethereum is my good choice since it was $1500 at ATH but now it's around $130. It would give you a high return on the next bullrun. It's just my opinion

Wow that's hard to assume mate. But most likely I will go with the pioneered coins such as btc, eth, xrp, neo and other top coins since these projects can go back to its price during 2017 as for the other coins we cannot guaranteed it especially now that many coins keep sprouting the market like ants. New projects that might added in the trash on market or hidden gem hiding in plain sight. Who knows, no one can tell actually.

LTC was good, I think it will easily return to its peak price, even ETH looks very cheap now. These two are very safe options in my opinion.

If you ask for best alt coin then everyone will suggest his favourite coin name. I thought same as you regarding BCH. But now I don't think that coin will raise price like other coin. In my opinions, low satoshi coin would be better for hold if you like to HODLE. Personally I don't like to hold, especially high satoshi coin. I got profit on low satoshi coin more than high satoshi coin. I will not mention any name, you might check CMC which one is top rank within low satoshi coin. However, do your own research always before invest on any coin.

Dash. I am quite happy with how they kept going with their development and partnerships with different projects in different countries.

I think Syscoin has a great chance also of making a good run. Dev't has been pretty consistent.

BCH is one of the crypto which lost huge value when compared to bitcoin and ethereum so basically it is one of the coin to avoid for your next long term investments.Other than ethereum ,litecoin,Monero, and much more recognized coin don't stack by now because the chances of dump forever on the prices of cheap coins are also possible so buy only when you see the coins are doing good.

cryptocurrency that has a good development as you mentioned above is a coin that has the potential to be very expensive and most of these coins can provide benefits from year to year, you only need to see the right time to buy and sell, essentially use the movement coin prices as well as possible, you can use long-term methods or use short-term do as you like.

Your are not asking for the best altcoin investment, but you still asking which coin will go up :) I can't understand what is the difference.

My favorite always is Ethereum. After POS integration it may rise good.

mistake number 1:
you think you made profit because they were "good coins"
mistake number 2:
similar to mistake number 1 you think you lost money because of some imaginary thing you are calling "Crypto winter".

the reality is that you participated in a large scale pump and dump. if you sold before the dump began then you made profit and if you were fooled into holding while others dumped you lost a lot of money.

it will be the same scenario in the future too so your last statement about "stockpiling" doesn't even make sense. you are bag holding a bunch of dying coins right now!

that is a big mistake that anybody can make in altcoin market.
just because some altcoin got pumped big time it doesn't mean it will pump the same size again. in fact it is a well known fact that those coins that are pumped the most won't get pumped the same again because they get dumped the most too and people who are crushed under that dump are not going to trust it ever again.

IMO, there are quite a number of coins that will pump when the bull market come. Some safe choices of mine are ETH and Neo, the prices dipped 12x to 20x from ATH.

I only trust ETH, LTC is no longer as good as before. The price of LTC has fallen too deep and it is difficult for it to rise again like before

Bitcoin is usually the first coin that start to pump when the market recover. For altcoin, ETH, Siacoin and Neo lost most of their value. I believe the price will pump.

Not really, if you take a look at the last pump, the altcoin was the first coin was starting to pump, and many coins get a big rally in the market. I remember many of altcoins like DGB, SC, ZCL, ETH, XRP, XEM, XLM, and the other coins is trying race to reach the highest price. And then when each coin has to reach ATH, the time for bitcoin to rally and finally, we see bitcoin reached the high price ever.

But we don't know with this time because the chance for bitcoin and altcoin to rally to the highest price will come, and we are going to see which one will start to pump.

BCH is really gem to invest at the current moment, it will give certainly 20 or 30 X benefit if we currently invest into it, but it only depends upon BTC recovery.  If it recovers and BTC grows, then BCH is one of 100% trusted coin that you get much benefit from.

I think you'd better to keep all of them up, and wait for nay increase of every coins that you had. Hopefully there will be time when the bull run happen, all the coins that we kept will also increase.

Ethereum may have a good bull run this season. I am keeping it expecting that might happen.
I mean there is a larger percentage for an upward movement in value rather than going back. It is too low by now since the fall and it is one of the most trusted token out there next to bitcoin.
I have also PundiX in my wallet which have a better project rather than other ICOs out there.
Plus there is this 11 percent giveaway for three months.

It is true. I see a pretty good potential from ETH, the market is strong. Moreover, the decline is quite far since entering 2018, so the potential to skyrocket back is getting bigger. We only need to monitor the progress of the news and prepare to do the best analysis for the right timing to buy and then enjoy the increase.

Most of the people invest their money to the ethereum and oncr the bull run comes for sure the ethereum coins will hit again the value of the thousands of dollars and Im expected this year will the price of minimum of $1500 or the highest which is $5000. For sure we can earn too much money to ethereum compared to the bitcoins and the other altcoins but better to have more coins  to earn more too.

some people thinks that bch is a joke or sh*t coin but you are different from them  , you think bch is a gem in which i also agree with you because i also see that bch has a potential to pump more in the future .


of course it is because bitcoin is the main branch of all cryptos  .  whatever happens to bitcoin altcoins will also follow .


if bch is really a pump and dump coin then why do you think bch is still alive and kicking ?  what i know is that pump and dump coins tend to die after their value got pump and dump .

I hodl some good tokens that I got from my bounty like WPP, XBASE, EXP, and also I hodling XLM in my LOBSTR wallet.
XBASE and EXP come from ETERBASE exchange and EOSex exchange, both can bring me a dividend for passive income when they platform fully running. WPP from WPP Energy also has potential too, they plan to be listed on a top exchange like Huobi and also they have an awesome product and team. I see on DEX exchange this token price keep increase everyday...  ;D

Right now we can't really compare the coin price with bitcoin, cause all the coins were to drop so much. But for a hope i still put my believe in either Bitcoin or ethereum, those were good coins to begin with.

If you are comparing to 2017, it just a little time for me and I missed that all time high on that time everytime I'm playing crypto.

I believe ETH will be the top. Next would be AION which was above 4$ back then and now settled to 0.12$. ARN also pumped to 10$ and now is only around 0.30$. I still have big trust on these coins.

I guess not only you, it happened to all of us who bought crypto from 2017 when the market was very green and bullish.
From my opinion, LTC is a good coin to hold. Although the price of LTC now is not high as in 2017, but it has surpassed many altcoins rank above it.
So, it will be best to hold LTC for long time i think.

LTC is always the best altcoin in the top 5 in this market. The current market is very bad and you should not compare it with 2017. But in the past LTC had a strong growth and I believe it will soon return to ATH.

ethereum is a type of altcoin that is very promising in 2017, even today it is still trusted by all projects and big investors. Price movements Ethereum always follows the movement of bitcoin prices because these two types of coins always get the top rank in various exchange markets because they have a fairly high trading volume. if we look at ethereum prices at this time, many times it has experienced a very drastic decline compared to last year, but there is a possibility that ethereum has good potential for the future and many people believe if the price of bitcoin has increased ethereum will always follow price movements bitcoin

For myself, thinking of the best altcoin is, ethereum ripple and litecoin, I believe this will have a future and can provide good benefits. You have to have patience in investing in crypto, because even though it's the best altcoin, it definitely experiences a decline in the market when it deteriorates.

personally i try to transform if the market will allow me all my altcoin in eth that i consider the only altcoin (besides btc) that still has great potential and i think it can me give satisfaction in the future...

Litecoin has performed well recently and managed to stay above Bcash in market cap.

I invest in quite large coins such as Ethereum, EOS, Ripple, OMG, NEO and Litecoin. I think that if you invest, it is better in such coins.

For me these coins are XRP, ETH and QTUM. The value of these coins was very high at the peak of the cryptocurrency market growth. QTUM cost about $100, while now one coin can be bought for only $2, the price of XRP rose to $3 and it was fantastic considering the total supply of coins.

I basically don’t know much about QTUM but I think I will look into it too and see if it is a project I can invest in, let’s see how we can all push some of these projects to BULLISH TREND with our little activities/efforts, $100 usd peak is not bad at for one to buy at $2 now.

This can really earn me a good fortune and probably get me a good life I have been dreaming on,  I just hope the project is a viable one mate and I guess they need to compensate you for marketing them.

I didn't really pay so much attention on QTUM until I read this. And yes, I checked and found out that it reached to 100$ back then and now, it's price is on the lowest. The supply is not that limited but not that too high also. I still have to study its uses but thanks for mentioning. I've been short trading XRP. I still consider some things before I go long term with it.

Same encounter I had in 2017, which mine was out of stupidity and greed, I didn’t withdraw them as at when due hoping to see more increase till I got the reverse but most of the coins I have them are what I still bought and holding because I am sure they will rise again and give me more than what I failed to withdraw then but current ones I have and trust for now are Bitcoin cash, Dash, Neo, XRP, MTC and BNB. I believe strongly n these coins though for both long term investment and also short term investments.

Apart from Bitcoin, I actually invested in other coins that also grew on price, one of them is ETH which grew up to $1000 per ETH and I made a lot of profit because I bought ETH during the time when ICO was carried out, I also made purchase of doge coin and from which made me a lot of profit, I also got up to 2.5 bch after the hard fork of Bitcoin.

When we do spend time on reading more with his community, we will slowly gaining extra perception capability which is more important on choosing right investments. I have developed this in the timeframe of 3 to 5 years hence we cannot do high ROI from the day one itself still it will be possible for everyone.

I think that while the price of BTC is rising, it will definitely drive other altcoins to rise, but it is difficult to reach the height of 2017. I regret very much that I did not sell the tokens in my hands at the highest point in 2017.

Chance for eth to fly is quite high as they have scheduled their upgrade this year and I think there will be new investors that will trust eth again once more as they have been moving their pacing now. Also, watch out for Binance as they become an aggressive on many aspect to boost their project. BNB and ETH will disrupt the market probably.

I'm not interested with BCH, I'm liking more about ETH. $140 for the moment and can multiply by 10 and reach back $1,400 whenever we're already in the bull run.

You are right, it is a great time to fill your pockets full of crypto, because the prices are pretty low at the moment, even by very perspective coins. Buy a lot of altcoins and wait until the winter will be replaced by crypto summer.

And it may drop to $ 10-20 in the future if we continue to stay in the long bear market. We cannot know the future and every investment decision is risky

That's right and I myself also think like that that altcoin is the second way to get promising benefits besides bitcoin, so in the future it will be that altcoin and bitcoin will still be a good and promising investment place

You are not alone in this regret mate, infact I am still biting my finger for not making the right decision that time, it was a great mistakes from my end despite the fact that I claimed to be a good analyst.

I can’t believe that my 58 coins has so much depreciated to 250 usd while waiting for the BULL to BULL more when the BULL was already wearing its shoe to give way for the BEAR. But for now, I have also learnt not to make that mistake again, at least even if I am not sure if all altcoins have reached the final bull when they start rising, I will sell at least 60% of my coin while I wait for the remaining 40% to continue doing its survey.

The NEO coin brought me the most profit. I think that soon her success will repeat and it will cost even more than in 2017.

NEO is having a lot of difficulties and I believe it is very difficult to get the same price as 2017. The current NEO is not as good as EOS and ETH, so the price cannot rise too high

I think Ripple's price is now far from expectations. Many people predict that Ripple prices can reach $ 5, but the bearish Bitcoin trend makes Ripple prices also fall. So I think Ripple is currently the best choice for those of you who want to have a coin with a promising prospect.

I would say a few like Stellar, monero, litecoin and of course ETH can return good profit

The ethereum would be the best investment today. After the big crush the ethereum price came down from $1.350 to $135. So as all we see the ETH price already went down too much and we can not expect more decrease. I did invest all my money to ETH and waiting for the $200 price line.

many people prefer ethereum to be the best altcoin investment asset besides bitcoin, as we know the growth of ethereum value always follows the movement of the price of bitcoin so that these two types of coins are the most popular choices of cryptocurrency that are in demand by investors. besides that ethereum has a very promising potential if it can be used as a long-term investment asset

Everyone has a positive opinion about ETH this year, but I do not understand why. I mean, we know it is future is bright, but before ETH, there is BTC, and the price of all cryptos depend on it.

Of course , if you keep the funds from 2017 , now it is very good to buy them, especially if in the near future there will be growth, you will reduce your losses much and enter into a plus faster !

I'm not going to disagree with what you said because that's the reality that the market can go too low for this bear market. I've seen ETH's early price at two digits and we have landed $80 last time so there's always a tendency that it can plummet that much. Right now, I'm not thinking of this anymore, I'm starting to get bullish just to give myself encouragement.  :)

ethereum as king of altcoin was not doubted by major community.most of them have ethereum in their bag and they have big hope someday its price will hit all time high again .

I strongly believe that the best altcoin investment at the moment is Ethereum. This is a sleeping giant that is going to awake within the next several months. I think that ETH will get to the new price records this year.
