Title: I am looking for people to participate in a challenge...
Post by: diegomatiash14 on March 02, 2019, 07:09:21 PM
Hello, as the title says, I am looking for people interested in participating in a puzzle (challenge) and solving it together. The people I need for the challenge must be perseverant and understand that every success requires a failure many times, it will be a difficult challenge and that is why I look for a team, it must be people: honest, perseverant, wanting to have fun solving the challenge and who are willing to sacrifice as much time as possible to solve the challenge, self-confident people who do not give up. (I am looking for people who have knowledge in cryptography, computer science, mathematics, (with luck, programming in python or some scripting language, it is not absolutely necessary), enigmas, with a lot of creativity and determined to win). the challenge has a great prize if we win. For more information, tell me by dm, only for people really interested. Thank you!  P.S: I'm not the creator of the challenge, I'm just looking for people who want to participate with me.

you might want to include the Puzzle that you are trying to use others to solve!
currently there are a couple of them out there and most of them are not even worth the time and i know of at least one that is not even solvable (the puzzle looks more like trolling than an actual puzzle). people don't want to waste their time on things that aren't worth it like that.

The challenge has not yet been released, it is from an early adopter and if it's worth it, not only for the prize of around 300 BTC, but for how difficult they are. The creator has already made a challenge before. https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/9kq7it/introducing_the_310_btc_bitcoin_challenge/ (it was the previous one) I tried to look for people in reddit but everyone criticized me saying it was a scam or something similar. Thanks.

Ok, so you want smart people to help you solve a puzzle, with no guarantee that they might get any reward for their effort? I doubt if smart people like that will share their time and energy to solve puzzles like this and who says one of them will not rather do this on their own, when they see 300 bitcoins on offer.  ::)

Good luck getting smart people who will be willing to work for a chance to get a possible reward.  :P  Most of these puzzles are solved by friends or family of the creator of the puzzles. <My own conspiracy theory>  ::)

I have helped in the solving of some previous puzzles. I wonder, what are your experience and skills?

What is the guaranty that you will get paid after you helped solve the puzzle do they have a testimonial that they've already paid people from participating in their campaign, better be sure about this before posting this challenge or else people will blame you if they are not rewarded.

The problem of guaranteeing rewards will always be a problem, it can only be reduced, so I dedicate myself to meet those who wish to participate and verify that they are as reliable as possible, and for my part, it is the same as the others. , who solves The puzzle could keep everything, it could be me or any other person. The previous challenge was very difficult, an intelligent person is usually not enough. I managed to solve the previous challenge up to the 0.1 and 0.2 portfolios, but they had already been taken. This challenge will be different and, apparently, you will not need technical knowledge, so I have no idea what I can expect. Actually I think if I kept all the btcs, it just would not go well ... I believe in karma and I think there are honest people.

Sounds reasonable. Any idea about when the challenge begin? Are you working on any puzzle right now? As you said you solved 0.1 and 0.2 BTC challange on the previous one, I assume you are sufficient in basic programming and cryptography?

No one will surely join up this team.If i am that smart person i would rather solve it for myself and will get that 300 Bitcoins on my own without the need of dividing into other people.
Sounds too greedy but if you can actually do it on your own then its normal for people to choose up that way and besides you wont even have the guarantee that you would get the shares once the prize is being distributed.

So, if the puzzle had been solved by your team i assume you are the one who would collect those coins? No one would trust you up.

Except you are hardly gonna solve the really hard ones alone, also, it's part of the fun to do it with someone else. Some of these puzzles take years to solve. Let's see you keep going when you feel you are stuck.

if the puzzle is actually solvable then it should not take "years" to solve it and so far all the puzzles that are being created are either unsolvable which means they will remain like that unless the creator moves the funds himself or are being solved in less than a month.

the only case where the puzzle was solved years later was when the puzzle was created back when price was very low so there was no incentive to bother solving it at the time (imagine a puzzle with 100 satoshi today!) but with price rise it became valuable so people started working on it and solved it.

I guess this kind of challenge is the one that appears as one of the issue few years ago about "CICADA" it talks about cryptography and they have this very private group without even knowing what was happening inside that group, the reward maybe is a treasure that only the winner who can decrypt the puzzles with subliminal messages that will receive.

if OP, didn't want to hover some  examples about those puzzles then maybe my guess could be the one he is pertaining. Only Elites can take the risk about it. Money is everything.

Thats right but i dont remember any puzzle games that do have very small prize inside it which usually do have some reasonable prize as the contest/puzzle game started. It
may do took long before it gets solve due to difficulty until the time comes that the prize amount in usd soar up high.

@Desmond, you got the point on solving problems together and enjoyable since you can have some help from others but for the sake of big money you cant just trust anyone.

I saw bitcoin puzzle before, it was hype but I think somewhere a long the line, people suspected that the same people behind solved the puzzle. The reason, the bitcoin that's going to be used as payment are supposedly tainted and to throw those authorities tracking that bitcoin, they offered it as a payment for a puzzle. Anyways, this is gonna be fun, except that it will be very difficult to solve for sure. Might be issues later though, specially if your group have solved, how are the bitcoins divided amongst the team?

So how will you assure them that they will also get their cut when you won the prize? Because I don't think you have understand Kakmakr's point. You are asking a bunch of random dudes to help you online on solving this challenge but how will you guarantee them that the 300 BTC prize will be divided evenly and what's your assurance to them that you won't be running away with it? These smart dudes won't be wasting their time on a puzzle with you without any guarantees for the prize.

I agree. Why get participants when only one wins the prize? Should be divided though.

Since the reward for resolving the puzzle is so big I imagine it will take months, probably years to solve it and definitely a lot of patience and determination meaning this would be like a full time job for the persons who try to resolve it. The problem is that there is no guarantee that you will receive the reward at the end. If this puzzle would have been created by a popular and trusted company then I imagine people would be more interested. Anyway, good luck find someone who is willing to work with you and God help you to solve the puzzle.

True, i guess trust would need to be earned some how, maybe contact the puzzle creator about the reward and submit the addresses of the members of the "team"

You can't earn trust any way from the I see it. First of all, how is anyone going to know who solves it? What would the puzzle creator do with the addresses?
The only way that would be possible would be to have a KYC for the puzzle, where everyone register in person and there is only one valid withdraw address per person and they can then enter in groups. It would be like Ready Player 1

we cant dm you anyways, you need to be at least jr member to receive or send messages or for us to be able to send anything to you, can you provide a telegram thing or a email perhaps where you can give serious people another form of contact?
