Title: ChampagneSpins - hybrid casino - rated 4.5/5 stars
Post by: ruthwithers1980 on March 04, 2019, 02:21:42 AM
From time to time, I share reviews of casinos without the intention of promoting any brands as I am not affiliated with them. This time, it's our ChampagneSpins casino review and ChampagneSpins affiliate program review I'll share.

I don't know if you've already heard of ChampagneSpins, but it is a hybrid casino established in 2017. By hybrid we mean it accepts both fiat money and cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

Casino rating: 4.5/5 stars

KYC required: YES

Major PROS:
Cryptocurrency support
VIP program available
Generous bonuses
Huge game library

CON:
Long list of country restriction

Should you play in this casino? Better know first the essential background info about the brand, the bonuses offered, the casino games enlisted, and the payment terms implemented. All these info you can find in this in-depth review:

Hybrid casinos identical with KYC procedure as they are accepting fiat, I wont sign up on any gambling sites that requires me to verify personal information. So may you inform us whether or not this site requiring KYC for their player?
Just tried to open the site, unluckily it is blocked by my internet provider. So one more question, is it OK to use VPN to play on this site?

with a high KYC you are sending your personal and private info to unknown people that can and very often do sell this info or use it to try and hack or even identity theft.
the idea behind crypto currencies was originally to have a high anonymity and not need KYC to buy and sell
but i guess you are a gambler right?
gamble away!

Thanks for asking. I already edited the post, now it contains "KYC required: YES." So, yeah, ChampagneSpins requires players to verify their accounts. While this is a pro for some players, it is not for others. At least now you know ChampagneSpins is not a site for you as it has the KYC procedure.

To answer your 2nd question, you can access the site using VPN, but it will be safer if you don't do that as the casino might detect it when the next time you log in you use a different IP. There's a chance your winnings might be forfeited.

ChampagneSpins is not for players who don't want to disclose personal info. But definitely, it is a casino recommended to players who are not afraid to go through the KYC procedure.

But how if we want to play and we need to use a VPN because our country has blocked the website contain word "Spins" to be accessed by people? We still need to use VPN to visit the website, and I think we don't have to get any trouble if we always use the same country in the VPN dashboard so we can play the games without having a problem. Just my thought because sometimes I've played for an hour to test the website and I want to make sure that I don't have any bad experience.
Regarding your information to use KYC, hm I don't think that many gamblers will agree with that because they want to play by secret without anyone knows. Can you delete about KYC, so gamblers don't have to send any document?

OP I have seen you post before, but your PROs are not the PROs that we crypto gamblers like.

For crypto gamblers, our pros are:
- quick withdrawal or cheap withdrawal fees.
- low house edge.
- good loyalty bonuses (not deposit bonus which is hard to win anyway).
- no KYC.

So, based on your review, do we have any of the above? And it is not clear if people restrict countries, then also maybe block VPN,,, that should be right on the start to warn us.

Just checked out the website and my initial impressions are pretty good. I like the black and gold design. The selection of games are pretty good as you mentioned.

However, I don't approve of the KYC process which is why I won't be gambling on this website. If they removed this silly restriction, I would happily check out the different games.

Rated 4.5/5 stars by who?By the author of the review article?
I would be glad,if there was a review/feedback system just like BBB,where the users of that casino leave honest reviews.By the way,is there any forum member that actually used that casino willing to leave an honest (non-promotional) review/feedback?

The casino is rated 4.5 stars on multiple websites (eg. https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/champagne-spins-casino-review/ you can also find reviews from people here) so i think this casino is actually pretty good and legit,at least from what i have seen because this could all be fake reviews or just with promotional purpose.

The Site seems nice and I really like the color combinations the name itself is suited for hotel and restaurant environment or pretty much a very important occasion, But the thing that catches my eye was bonuses and promotions if offers I think the number of 150 free spins can sure make you a lot of wins, unless the gambling site really is fair and I think this can attract more gamblers, And just like all people that commented here I don't really like the KYC verification at the registration part, But overall the games in here has many providers that some of here may know.

I agree and the personal information you send can also be used for an ICO scam and later on when you do a KYC then the people who might get in touch with you will think of you as a scammer or planning a ponzi scheme. I think those people want KYC I think they disagree with the goal of being anonymous in crypto.

Why KYC in casino signing up? Like the gamblers have a reward accruing to them other than that they would be staking out their hard monies. Nop , this is not an ICO project but casino.

Probably no one from this forum tried this site, as the site requires KYC while we wall know that most members of this forum prefers to be anonymous for gambling purpose. Basically ratings in review website does not really represent the fact, as we do not know whether the review is real based on users experience or just fake paid review. If we want to try, then try it with small amount only.

Don't just go out there and give your personal information to a new without reputation casino website or any website for that matter, they have actually no reason to ask for those kind of information from users.

Still very nice concept and another good SoftSwiss casino

And besides, there's already gambling site who caters what crypto gamblers needs, this really matters if the owner wanted to compete with those
available and competitive gamehouse, I see no point risking your personal information if there's already someone who you can go and enjoy playing
the game.

There's always different opinions about KYC and that's for sure.

As many have mentioned here the KYC will probably be your biggest issue when it comes to try to catch crypto gamblers.
Just like panjul07 setted we, people that use cryptos, dont like KYC at all. Probably the thing people loves most about cryptos is that you dont need (most all the time) to give any personal info at all

You say you plan on reviewing websites with no affiliate purposes while giving out links for people to join into those websites with your affiliate links.

How would anyone trust you in that case? I mean don't get me wrong this website could be amazing, who knows, I am not a reviewer and I can only talk about it for myself and it could be a different answer for someone else because not all gamblers are looking for the same thing on a website (which is why many affiliate websites can't sustain existing forever) but in the end even I can say that what you do doesn't look like coming out of no economical profit, reviewing websites is literally your job and even without affiliate link you make money for reviewing them and the moment you start going against the casinos they will start a war against you which you can not afford to fight. I do not trust the honesty of an affiliate website, no reason to start now.

Hey, hold your horses! I never gave any affiliate links above! The links above are links to the ChampagneSpins casino and affiliate program reviews. And for your information, I am not a member of Champagne Partners. I just wanted to share those reviews for the benefit of the readers including you.

If you paid attention to those pages I sent, you'll find no ChampagneSpins affiliate links. So take this friendly advice: Just because you see a lot of affiliate links from different sources doesn't mean you can just storm into a thread and say the OP is a spammer or what-not!

A lot of us have good intentions here. Care and share rather than scare.

First of all I am sorry because it directed to the website right away and couldn't see if there was affiliate link or not, that is a mistake on my part. However, can you deny the fact that your whole job is to promote websites and you make money thanks to people visiting your website to read the reviews, that is literally the purpose of the website.

Now, I know you must feel like you are doing an objective job at this but giving 4.5 stars for a website like this while there are ton of amazing huge websites in the crypto world like stake and fortunejack and many more looks a bit like you are favoring them a bit, which is definitely fine, you can of course like the website, that is all in your power.

Moreover, I feel like if 100 people voted for a website and you take the average and give them that rating would have been more realistic than just one person playing and liking and rating. Nothing against you, I wouldn't even trust myself with it, that's why getting the average of 100 votes sounds more fair than just one person.

You and I know that gambling is illegal in some countries which mine is not an exceptional of one, if we KYC is required, then why is it gambling then when one of the reason why people use crypto currency for gaming and gambling is because of its anonymity.

Secondly,  I can see that the casino is based on bitcoin and bitcoin cash, I will really like to see some of the top available altcoins too added to it so it will be easier for some of us.

I wonder why this casino rated 4.5 stars out of 5. The main reason people join crypto casinos is that, they can keep their anonymity. If Casino offers big bonuses, free spins and many games doesn't mean that players would like it. There are many top casinos which are more trusted and rated best even if they don't offer any bonuses. As a gambler, I don't prefer revealing my identity on online casinos. I think that is the major drawback of this casino as majority of people likes to be anonymous.

Yeah, your idea makes a lot of sense. It will even be better if those votes come from actual players of the casino, not from those who just visit the site without signing up or playing for real.

Well, some like switching their bet currencies from fiat to crypto or vice versa. That's one reason hybrid casinos exist. And surely, there are crypto gamblers who see no big deal in disclosing their personal info. Again, it's all about preference.

There are, but not many of them since most people choose crypto casinos instead of fiat casino especially because they don't want to reveal their personal information. One problem with crypto casinos asking for KYC is that most of them are not licensed/regulated so people are scared to offer their personal details to a website that was recently opened and doesn't give them any reason to trust it.

Maybe api would work ? I am not a big tech guy so I do not know how apis work and even if those websites have apis but if there is a chance of checking the api and see if the person who votes has an account there you can build a system where people could login with their casino account to your website and than vote on that with condition that they have to be registered for over a week or have a certain wagered amount to be able to vote.

I know it sounds technology a bit complicated than "hey vote here" type of easy deal but it would make things soooo much easier since people would be actually gamblers on those websites that will actually vote. Without a prevention system like that we are looking at a bot voting 5 stars 100+ times a day on a website which would destroy the whole purpose.

Is KYC needed to play there? Or to withdraw our winnings?
And if I want to be an affiliate, do I still need to undergo KYC to get my commissions withdrawn? And what are the commissions, can you show an example of what I'll be getting per potential customer I bring to them?

I don't want to join in any gambling website which using KYC. I don't want to fill any document for playing gambling, and I prefer to stick on the gambling websites which don't use KYC. I don't want to choose them for my affiliate even they offer a big revenue for the member because I am sure that the other websites can give the same thing as them.

Although it gives commisions but to give out your personal identity through gambling is not a very good way. The reason why people choose online instead of offline is because we can be secure and being anonymous is really a good thing when we gamble. But when KYC is required, I do not think people have a purpose to play on site anymore. It just no difference then when we play by using fiat
