Title: [REPORT] Ban evader
Post by: yogg on March 05, 2019, 06:33:38 PM
User yangS (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=515507) has been banned, but is still active on the board with several alts (at least two).
These are his known alts :

- Bert65 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=995152)
- Melja (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1236675)

Thank you for reading.

balance is a transparent word, but in this context, it translates to "snitch"

Yeah, but can you top this:

chicken shit piece of snitching dirt

As for the ban evasion, report to mods if you got proof.

Since he doesn't participate in any bounties, it is rather difficult to prove it with pure logic.

However the way he writes, the expressions he uses etc led to the fact that every french forum member knows that he is yangs/melja.

I don't even know why his main account got banned in the first place, which is why he didn't get reported earlier I guess.

Fact is he is relentlessly trolling the french section with every new account he creates.

Banning him won't have any effect I guess. He will just create another account.

There was definitely plagiarism, not sure if that's the reason for the ban though:

A pretty interesting looking project you have here  :)
I'm definitely going to be watching this.

As for the alts, "Ignore" is your best option I think.

Melja has been begging for Merits.

And has admitted being banned on another account.

Report that post to mods. This should be good enough to prove ban evasion.

French moderation is already aware. It has been reported. Don't worry.

Nope, every ban counts. The more banned accounts for his IP the more evil points he will receive, the higher the evil points the higher the fees he will pay before creating and registering a new account. So if the rest of his alt accounts gets banned for ban evasion then he would reach a point where he can't pay to create a new troll account anymore.

for his IP the more evil points he will receive

I highly doubt he has a fixed ip.

It's pretty uncommon in France.

Looks like my knowledge on the subject is a bit obsolete. Fixed IP is more and more common, even in France.

How do you parse this that fast?

Surely using a VPN will allow him to avoid the Evil IP thing.
No ?

I had reported that particular post and I keep a log of all my reports.

Indeed. But his vpn would have to fail only once. By failing I mean not connecting without him noticing, or him forgetting about it.
