Title: [SURVEY] [FREE-BEER/DRINK] How do you often read crypto-related contents?
Post by: necandiscovery on March 06, 2019, 09:10:42 AM
I made an aggregator for crypto social news and opinions from enthusiasts from Twitter, Reddit, Tradingview. I want to survey you guys to know if the contents are helpful to you, and the types of news that you guys often read, so I can categorize them better and improve your experience.

The topic will be split into these categories:
  • Highlight from CEOs
  • Recent Tweets from Top Cryptos
  • Trending Topic
  • Discussion
  • Crypto social stats
  • Top retweeted KOL
  • Announcements from Companies
  • Market Opinions

I want to know your cup of tea for crypto contents, like whether you like to read analyses or charts, or do you prefer CEO highlights and famous people’s tweets, and I would love to know what you hate as well.

You can check out what im working on at coinwhalenews.com. No login or anything required. If you just want to see a screenshot and worry about scam, here's an imgur link: https://imgur.com/a/LfjijNX. Would love it if you can give an opinion about whether the contents in here are helpful to you in any ways.

Hope I can get a feedback from you and hope ya have a nice day.

I appreciate every comment and I could send you a beer if you’d allow me to  ;D ;D

I generally want to be in the loop for recent developments regarding cryptocurrencies in general.
By that I mean that I want to know when a certain cryptocurrency project develops something noteworthy.

It could be if they're announcing a hardfork or if they're planning to add important new features.

One thing that I find somewhat annoying, is that I don't really tend to see much news regarding Steem.
I know this is pretty specific, but the current news aggregator I'm using doesn't really show much news that originates from the Steem platform itself.

So if you have any way of incorporating news from these accounts on Steem, that would be an awesome feature that I would gladly use.

What kind of beer are we talking about here? :P

I'd pick the lager, depending on which one it is.
As long as it's not Heineken, it's all good.

Can't be seen with that one, since I'm from Belgium :P

As often as possible... sadly, time available isn't unlimited

human mind can only go as far!

What I really want to see is originality, I want to see a crypto news site who will be offering their own news from someone, something, or somewhere which most of the crypto news sites have not yet provided. All I can see are just news being recycles, tweets converted it into news, and even they themselves connecting price actions to some news which I can't even see a clear connection too.

Original content means you will be the first source giving it, I just don't want to see another site recycling worthless shit for traffic. Sorry if I haven't chosen anything to the topics you have broken into as all of it has been done by these news sites which I am not a fan of.

I spend quite a lot of time on bitcointalk, but I also read crypto-news. The average is more than once per day on twitter.
I didn't like the aggregators I've found until now, but probably I'm too picky. What I'd like is basically a crypto news RSS feed. From the 50-100 titles per day (better 10 titles than 100 duplicates), I'd probably read 2-3 pages and I'd still be more informed than now.
Unfortunately RSS feed probably doesn't pay off to be implemented, it may use more work/bandwidth/general resources than the income produced, so I don't know if such idea would ever work out.

Sure, you can message me, as long as you don't expect a whole essay when I respond back  ;)

I want to know your cup of tea for crypto contents, like whether you like to read analyses or charts, or do you prefer CEO highlights and famous people’s tweets, and I would love to know what you hate as well.

I've always watched other market opinions because it helps me to consider a second/third opinion about my decision on the markets, especially on TradingView I enjoyed a lot looking for other analyses and charting.

About CEO highlight or someone tweets, Personally, I don't care anything about it either positive or negative. Nevertheless, it might consider it if its contain any technical review.

Anyway, Hows about GitHub commit aggregator? I know it only useful for particular people to have some basic programming, but that would be beneficial if there is a major improvement or security threat(?). Also we able to see team project activity.
