Title: Bitcointalk Crawler Service|For Campaign Managers and other Use Cases Post by: tyz on March 08, 2019, 03:01:12 PM Bitcointalk Crawler Service I have developed software that fetches information from Bitcointalk.org and creates reports and statistics. It is ideal for research purposes and to facilitate signature campaign management. The software itself is not for sale. When ordering the service, reports from a user or a set of users are regularly delivered automatically. The software is highly customizable and reports can be adapted to the respective requirements. It could gather the following data:
To fetch desired information Bitcointalk.org user id(s) have to delivered and whether you want to get the posts starting from a particular date or all posts since the user's creation date. Data can be delivered in various formats: Excel, CSV, HTML, SQL-Export etc. Data Preview The following online sheet shows three tabs with information about my last posts including reports. https://docs.zoho.eu/sheet/published.do?rid=yadmefdf2c29eec214fcd9f315e2631415d88 Database Screenthost: https://i.imgur.com/XYzqiBY.jpg https://i.imgur.com/wDcgi7E.png Price: Price depends on how much data you want to fetch. I usually charge 0.0001BTC per 100 posts. Example: You run a signature campaign with 20 users and you want to get the posts of each user of the last 7 days. Let's say, each user has made 50 posts in average. So, you order 1000 posts in total. I will charge 0.001 BTC for the data. Feel free to contact me over pm to get an individual offer. Title: Re: Bitcointalk Crawler Service|For Campaign Managers and other Use Cases Post by: LimLims on March 08, 2019, 03:27:34 PM There are managers in order to check the activity of the users. What they posts , how they posts and when they posts. If the managers will rely on softwares then what the purpose of being a manager.
Moreover the post quality can only be checked by humans not by any bots. So IMO managers will not really be needing your help. Yeah there are some Managers who might be interested in your help in order to save their time, but veteran managers like Yahoo, Hhampuz and Darkstar will not seek for your service. This is just my opinion. By the way this is a great tool. I will find the user and update this topic.
Edit: It's LoyceV. He also has this scrapping bot I think. IMHO,you are wrong. This software isn't made to check quality posts but to help the managers have a single sheet of consolidated data about their participants so they don't have to go through each participant profile/post.This software would just increase the manager's productivity by getting rid of the time lost checking manually profiles and using character counters to check if the post length matchs the requirement.Their job would still be to check the quality of the posts. Moreover the post quality can only be checked by humans not by any bots. Exactly! The reports are not meant to evaluate the quality of posts. This would require the implementation of data and text mining algorithms. And even this would not ensure a good quality of posts. Quality measurement still needs human assessment. The service is about facilitating campaign managers' work by having everything at a glance. As the example sheet shows you can go through hundreds of post relatively easy and evaluate overall quality. And that by many users. You also see how many posts were made in which category and if a user met the requirements (for example, only allowed X posts in the local forum or at least X posts in a specific category). So, a campaign manager must go through each post by the user individually, which is much more complex and more time consuming. How many earned, timespan they were earned in, avg merits per post, etc..... How many earned, timespan they were earned in, avg merits per post, etc..... Thank you, yahoo62278! Your contribution and your experience as campaign manager is very helpful. I will continue to develop the software as I have already received some positive feedback and obtained orders. Of course, merit is very interesting and important. I will implement this in addition soon. Title: Re: Bitcointalk Crawler Service|For Campaign Managers and other Use Cases Post by: tyz on April 16, 2019, 04:55:28 PM Little Developer Update
I've developed the software so that it can now track the merits a user has received for a selected period of time. Also, the merits for posts in certain forum categories can be identified. In addition, reports are now sent regularly via email triggered by cronjobs. I'm working on making reports available automatically via Google Spreadsheets. Since I am on the search for a tool like that (a free one to be honest), I stumbled about this thread (again) after dearest Mole0815 gave the hint. Now as mentioned I just want to know it for fun / myself and thus donīt want to spend BTC on it, but still I find this a very interesting tool and thus want to bump your thread. Keep up the good work. |
