Hi guys, just want to share a news on a new crypto hardware wallet with bluetooth and biometric support.
I've been following up on this product for couple of months and they are in the market now.

I'm not a fan of bluetooth hardware wallet but at least they're as extreme as biochip wallet, which is extremely dangerous imo. Though this is not entirely new as Ledger also released some bluetooth hardware wallet a while back. Nice competition, hopefully it will push more good products to enter the market.

Having biometric support is a little bit too much and unnecessary in my opinion. It's pretty much just a little bit of convenience in exchange for less security, which isn't really worth it in my book. Bluetooth as well; though someone doing a man-in-the-middle attack on you while using your bluetooth hardware wallet is quite unlikely, it just adds an additional attack vector. The Ledger Nano S and the Trezor One is still the best in my opinion.

Pretty much this.

It's become an old adage in security circles that biometric data should only be used for identification but never for authentication. There's simply too much downside on using biometric data for the latter (e.g. biometric data is easier to spoof than most people are aware of, it can't be revoked and exchanged for new credentials). Accordingly I have my doubts about the security awareness of any hardware wallet vendor following this approach.

Yeap. To be honest though, we really can't blame these wallet makers. I'm pretty sure these flashy but unnecessary features are huge selling points for people who don't know better. Next thing you know, hardware wallet companies will be making hardware wallets that does face unlocks and it would sell like hotcakes. 🤷‍♂️

It looks pretty good, though what I'm not sure I understood is that you need to have a smartphone and their application?
Because I told myself, in this case, better to install a wallet in a smartphone directly. You don't need to walk around with a TV remote control in your pocket.

Also, after some time your android device is not compatible with the applications because your version is old and you can't upgrade it

They also have card type wallet for storing NFT assets... quite interesting as we see movement in the blockchain space where assets are being tokenized to hold unique value of its own. Link below on card wallet demo.
