Crypto is scam, it won't work, it's used only by criminals,

blockchain will have zero application,

cryptocurrencies are a fad and will collapse...etc

2018
the stories became true and cryptos started dying

Crypto companies started mass layoffs

Miners were shutting down and selling rigs (mining machines) as scraps😂

Plenty hacks

Plenty Shitcoins died

ICOs imploded

Generally, it was a hell of a winter

and then,

2019
JPM (USA largest bank) launches their own

Facebook to launch their own coin

Massive altcoin seasons with some that have gone over 200%

Fidelity digital assets platform goes live

Emaar real estates to launch their own crypto

Blockchain bills being passed

and more to come...generally, it looks to be a good news season😊

With the Emaar real estate, I thought they have denied that they are not into crypto and after researching they are now going to launch their own crypto.

This year looks like the start of the foundation of the market again. The market starts to gain its fuel before it skyrockets again. I'm holding and believing with all of these news though others saying that I'm blindly believing.

Take a look at job descriptions at various big players like Facebook, Amazon and co. All of them are currently looking for blockchain developers. So tI think the next big thing is that every company out there will issue their own CC, driving the mass adoption of cryptos!

If there are no haters then you are doing it wrong. Same case was for Steem, Ethereum, EOS all of them are thriving.

you are confusing multiple different and unrelated stuff with each other!

1. bitcoin is scam statements.
are bullshit mainly spread by FUDsters who want to buy bitcoin at a cheaper price, or banksters like JPM who have been scared shitless of bitcoin's power.

2. crypto is scam
this can have two different meaning and i haven't seen anybody say it.
mainly this points to majority of altcoins being scams specifically the ICOs which have been popular during 2017 shitshow. this statement is 100% correct. and that is why a lot of them died in 2018 and continue to die to this day simply because they were scams and shitcoins.

3. blockchain has not application
this is partly FUD and partly because people keep seeing shitcoins and since they are useless people think the technology is as useless as them!

yes this year can be said to be the starting point for starting to rise (and hopefully this is true). We have seen a lot of good news coming this year, and believe me, only those who are able to survive will enjoy the results.

I think 2020 will be a year of legal regulations for crypto assets. Many countries have already started to take a position on this issue. Soon, many companies will accept payment methods.

They ask the buying options in ATH and the same people now ask how to sell in the bear market. These people don't understand the mechanism behind financial; markets and they usually buy high and sell low. They are stubborn to continue this cycle..

People from 2021/2022 - They (investors from 2017) are just lucky that got in early  ;D

The infrastructures are slowly being laid down. It won't be long before those bashers/critics turn into supporters.

Look at the new movie Crypto coming up, next month. Guess what well people are still saying in 2019 that crypto is used by evil Russian criminals (at least this is what I can so far say from the trailer).

And yes, the criminals, they use Coinbase. Also according to the trailer.

So don't worry, naysayers are everywhere. They won't stop, so why should we? ;)

I remember when so many bashers from various companies in US have attacked crypto and there was a lot of them have become supporters for crypto, it's the matter of time until mass adoption will happen in the future. 2020 is a big year consider we will see bitcoin halving time.

All of them were "liers" if I may say. They threw dist into the eyes of mainstream and then they are currently trying to enter the space. But i don't blame them, they also speculated wrong about crypto thinking everything was useless and worthless. They hsve conducted researches and have studied the space for sometime and they're now becoming part of the things they trolled.

To the OP, i think in 2020, China will reverse their ban and then to da moon for us heheee....

There have always been such people (naysayers). Everyone must understand everything himself and formulate your own opinion. However, I partially agree with the naysayers.

I don't mind what's next would be the news in 2020, they don't matter anymore to me. They were just bringing a negative effect to the new investors that would lead them somehow to quit instead of continuing what they're doing. People like them are also great in the economy especially if there are new project they were somehow critics to it. Though in Bitcoin it seems that they were now annoying instead of helpful to me. That's all.

Denying is probably part of their plan so that people won't be aware of what they do. It's part of the process that they need to make themselves look like not interested at all to pull down the prices.

In that scene, they can take more coins on their jurisdiction at the cheapest price which is favorable to them. And now, if someone or a company says that they don't like bitcoin, it's useless or whatsoever, we can conclude that they are trying to enter through that kind of marketing and useless talking.

Things are moving quite fast in the crypto world and it is nice to see the recognition and acceptance of crypto and blockchain tech slowly but surely by the world and especially by the governments, it just makes me happy that im promoting and is a part of a legal and futuristic community and we can expect fruitful years ahead.

Based on the facts I think that we are being manipulated by companies like JPMorgan and others who were saying cryptos are a scam or a ponzi scheme and later launched trading desks or their own coins. You can see this manipulation in Venezuela which banned crypto and confiscated mining equipment to later launch their own coin.

They want to get on the train before it gains speed and are doing what they can to slow it down.

Time passes by so fast, it was just like yesterday when most of the altcoins boom. I think most of the people who lost on of buying at those times have recovered and now ready to take in action again with full of knowledge on how this kind of business works. 2020 for me will be a new start, a chance to recover an get back it's repitation of being a one of a time invention.

I assume that by 2020 the success story of crypto will prevail. Apart from the low price, there are hardly any bad news about crypto and therefore i am very confident that everything will be on the right way.

Right. There is so much criticism to using cryptocurrency.Mostly all of them are from government banks claiming that crypto wont last but now they will eat what they said. Industry cannot anymore hide the fact of the true essence of using blockchain as we embrace slowly the high tech way of technology.

That really happened. I really agree with what you say. That crypto is now one place where people can earn income. I've heard that someone said crypto won't last long. But in fact it's not true. because crypto will continue to grow again.

I think anyone minding what people are saying about crypto again does not deserve to own any crypto now and even in the future.

Bitcoin and other cryptos have been referred to as scam time without numbers, it didn't just start in the year 2017 but has started since 2010 when the chinese government called crypto a scam. We can also learn for JP Morgan's  who called crypto a scam in 2017 when we saw a bull run and now owns their own crypto coin.

To be honest,  I don't rely on someone's opinion or judge for the reason that cryptocurrency is very unpredictable. Even the most expert on the field cannot predict what's going to happen in a day.

Yeah...those people have companies worth Billions of dollars and they can easily cause a drop in the price by gradually manipulating the space. Nevertheless, they can't kill the space because together, we are bigger than them and they can't mess us up completely like that.

A popular adage says 'Slow and steady wins a race' the picture clearly depicts what the future holds for cryptos based on adoption, usage and creation of companies based coin of which all will be coined using blockchain technology is this not on a positive note?
Obviously the trend in the analysis of the OP clearly shows a very positive outlook of cryptos come 2020 in addition to Bakkt and ETF SEC approval which had temporarily been suspended for a while.
Indication are ripe that the major critics of cryptos will turn around and become a full supporter of it based on their zeroing the chances of cryptos to survives however cryptos had already defies their doom predictions to become a growing digital currencies.

For 2020 I think this will be a good year for Crypto. And this year I think the market has started to grow and there are many real ICOs. In the following year, the market may rise higher. In this work, we must be careful and smart to take advantage of opportunities. And I'm sure by 2020 Bull will happen.

The pump is likely to really happen not earlier than in a year ... This is sad, but most likely it is true. The remaining time needs to be spent correctly - by investing in the right crypto projects. I am actively exploring the market in the search for promising new projects. Recently I came across one such project - Sound Money Coin. I'm just impressed with the prospects of this project!

Mass adoption for crypto currency are increasing since 2018 and until now it even grow further mire regulatory laws are pass to protect investors money. Probably this year would be the start of crypto market recovery and 2029 is the halving year for bitcoin expect price may surge after this date then.

That is not new, it has been like that since the beginning of cryptocurrency.
Many peoples said bitcoin is scam, it is a ponzi scheme or a bubble, it will dead, dont buy it.
What has happened is the opposite, bitcoin price has increasing far from the initial price.
There are always haters, even in crypto world. Just don't be easy to believe other people's words.

Laughing so hard, I was already boiling so hard in my mind, preparing to blow so hot on your write-up because of the shit on 2017 and 2018 till I saw your 2019/2020 write-up, now I think I can answer you calmly.

Well, I see a very promising 2020 for the cryptocurrency, any project that will be great and stand the test of time will surely face strong criticism but the ability to stand firm against all odd is a proof of its strength, despite all the negative prediction in 2017, many users of crypto was still made happy and 2018 was just another trying time which we are already coming to an end of the trials, with those projects listed for 2019, it is absolutely certain that 2020 is the year.

Facebook is just one out of the many crypto booster projects we are waiting for this year, the moment one of them releases theirs will be the beginning of speedy bull run for cryptocurrency, we still have the VISA company coming on board too this year and I see a lot of crypto investors jubilation next year.

I am also waiting for Facebook to roll out their coin and also other projects lined up for this year. I wish I could get more bitcoin to hold because as these project products are being released, it will play its major role in strengthening the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum.
